Abstract

The support of a cancer patient's family has a significant impact on the experience and treatment outcomes of chemotherapy. Family support encompasses four main dimensions: emotional, esteem, instrumental, and informational. The presence of emotionally supportive family members can reduce stress levels and improve the mental well-being of patients. Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy often experience feelings of sadness, despair, and a loss of interest in activities. Some even discontinue chemotherapy. This study aims to investigate the relationship between family support and the stress levels of chemotherapy patients in the Anggrek Tewu Room at RSUD dr. Murjani Sampit. This research employs a quantitative research method, a cross-sectional research design, and total sampling technique. The sample consists of 45 individuals. A questionnaire instrument is used, and Spearman Rank statistical test is applied to examine the relationship between family support and the stress levels of chemotherapy patients. The statistical analysis results with Spearman rho show that the ? value is 0.160 where (? = 0.05), so ?>?, thus Ha is rejected, meaning: "There is no relationship between family support and the stress levels of chemotherapy patients in the Anggrek Tewu Room at RSUD dr. Murjani Sampit." The research concludes that the stress levels depend on the characteristics of the chemotherapy patients themselves and how individuals cope with the life problems they face. One of the factors is an individual's beliefs and health values, as well as their ability to determine a treatment program for their own mental readiness to accept changes both physically and socially and the effects of chemotherapy.

Abstract

Obesity is a major cause of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and other metabolic disorders. A preliminary study conducted on 15 police officers from the Central Kalimantan Police Department revealed that 9 officers (60%) were obese, while 6 officers (40%) were not. Among the 9 obese officers, 8 admitted to rarely engaging in regular physical activity and frequently consuming fast food, while 1 officer was in the process of losing weight by exercising and maintaining a healthy diet. The causes of obesity include physical activity and dietary patterns. The objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between physical activity and dietary patterns and the incidence of obesity among police officers at the Central Kalimantan Police Department. Methods: This correlational study used a cross-sectional approach to examine the relationship between physical activity and dietary patterns and the incidence of obesity among police officers at the Central Kalimantan Police Department. Data collection instruments included questionnaires and BMI measurements. The sample consisted of 196 police officers classified as overweight and obese, selected through simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square correlation test. Results: The study found a significant relationship between physical activity (p-value = 0.000, 83.6%) and dietary patterns (p-value = 0.000, 73.8%) and the incidence of obesity among police officers at the Central Kalimantan Police Department. Conclusion: Physical activity and dietary patterns are significantly related to the incidence of obesity among police officers at the Central Kalimantan Police Department. The role of nurses in addressing obesity should begin with an accurate assessment of family care patterns, ensuring that interventions and education provided are effective, and prioritizing promotive and preventive measures to address obesity and prevent the emergence of chronic diseases.

Abstract

Hypertension is defined as an increase in systolic blood pressure >140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure >90 mmHg, often triggered by unhealthy modern lifestyles. In the Working Area of Puskesmas Tumbang Talaken, Gunung Mas Regency, there was an increase in hypertension cases in 2021. Interviews with 10 patients revealed that 5 had a family history of hypertension and poor dietary habits, 3 were active smokers, and 2 rarely exercised and often felt tense due to work-related stress. The high number of hypertension cases warrants research into the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in this area. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors related to hypertension incidence in Puskesmas Tumbang Talaken. Method: A correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected using observation and questionnaires (physical activity, diet, Depression Anxiety Stress Scales, and smoking habits). The sample consisted of 180 respondents visiting Puskesmas Tumbang Talaken, selected using accidental sampling, and data were analyzed using the Chi-square correlation test. Results: The study showed significant relationships between genetic factors (p-value = 0.000), diet (p-value = 0.000), physical activity (p-value = 0.000), stress (p-value = 0.000), and smoking habits (p-value = 0.000) with the incidence of hypertension in the Working Area of Puskesmas Tumbang Talaken, Gunung Mas Regency. Conclusion: The focus of hypertension control programs should be integrated and include comprehensive services, such as promotive and preventive services through health promotion activities, as well as curative and rehabilitative services. Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in Indonesia has driven the rapid growth of app-based food delivery services, such as ShopeeFood. The ease of using the application and the quality of service are key factors influencing user satisfaction in utilizing this service. This study aims to analyze the influence of application ease of use and service quality on ShopeeFood user satisfaction in Depok. A quantitative approach was used, with primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The data was processed using SPSS by conducting data quality tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests, and F-tests. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that both application ease of use and service quality have a significant influence on user satisfaction, both individually (partially) and jointly (simultaneously). The t-value for ease of use was 6.576 and for service quality was 4.929, both exceeding the t-table value of 1.984 with a significance level of 0.000. Simultaneously, the F-value of 37.967 also indicates a significant influence.
