Abstract

This study systematically reviews the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Bayesian learning, and Sharia principles within the domain of Islamic financial analytics and entrepreneurial innovation. Using the PRISMA protocol, 523 records were initially identified from Scopus and Web of Science databases, resulting in 68 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The review applies the PICOS framework to guide the research questions, focusing on AI applications, methodological integration, and the ethical alignment of Bayesian inference with Sharia law. The findings reveal that while AI has been increasingly applied to enhance financial inclusion, risk assessment, compliance automation, and operational efficiency in Islamic finance, Bayesian learning methods remain underutilized. Most existing research focuses on general AI models, such as machine learning and predictive analytics, but lacks probabilistic frameworks that reflect Sharia's ethical treatment of uncertainty (gharar) and speculation (maysir). Furthermore, the literature shows limited integration of maqasid al-Shariah (objectives of Islamic law) as performance indicators, insufficient comparative studies with conventional finance, and fragmented methodological coherence. This review highlights the need for the development of Bayesian-Sharia alignment frameworks and adaptive governance models that integrate ethical transparency with analytical rigor. Future research directions include AI ethics grounded in Islamic epistemology, AI-assisted issuance of fatwas, probabilistic compliance modeling, and the establishment of unified regulatory standards for intelligent Islamic finance systems. The study concludes that harmonizing technological innovation with spiritual accountability can position Islamic finance as a model for sustainable, transparent, and ethically driven global financial development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green supply chain management practices on consumers' purchase intention and willingness to pay premium using mediation and moderation analysis. This study obtained data by distributing online questionnaires to Generation Z and Millennial consumers who had purchased products from coffee shops that had implemented green supply chain management practices in Jakarta. The sample used in this study consisted of 289 respondents. The data analysis method used was SEM-PLS analysis using SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that green supply chain management practices have a positive effect on perceived product performance, willingness to pay premium, and consumer purchase intention. The results also show that perceived product performance mediates purchase intention but does not mediate consumers' willingness to pay more. Consumers' moral orientation towards the environment does not moderate the direct effect of green supply chain management practices on the other three variables.

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of halal transportation, halal procurement, and halal manufacturing on sustainable operational excellence (SOE) in the halal cosmetics industry at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, moderated by SARS-CoV-2 pandemic risk mitigation strategies. It examines how halal supply chain practices enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and sustainability amid mandatory halal certification and global market dynamics. Employing an explanatory quantitative cross-sectional design, the study surveyed 227 employees from the company's halal supply chain divisions via purposive sampling and a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), including outer/inner model evaluations, product indicator moderation tests, and bootstrapping at α=5%. Findings reveal significant positive effects of halal transportation (H1: t=3.45>1.96), halal procurement (H2: t=4.12>1.96), and halal manufacturing (H3: t=5.23>1.96) on SOE (R²=0.520), while pandemic mitigation does not moderate these relationships (H4-H6 insignificant). These results underscore halal practices' role in driving SOE for Indonesia's halal cosmetics sector.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate how key dimensions of logistics service quality, including timeliness, reliability, condition of goods upon delivery, flexibility, and responsiveness, affect customer satisfaction. This study also examines the moderating role of environmental friendliness in the relationship between logistics service quality and customer satisfaction. Methodology: This study adopted a quantitative approach and used purposive sampling to select 153 respondents who were active users of e-commerce platforms in Jabodetabek. Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4. Results: The results show that timeliness, reliability, and condition of goods significantly influence customer satisfaction, whereas flexibility and responsiveness do not. Environmental friendliness moderates only the effect of the condition of goods; other moderating effects are not significant. Conclusions: Although sustainable practices are becoming increasingly important, logistics service quality remains the primary driver of customer satisfaction. Environmental friendliness has a limited moderating role, underscoring the continued relevance of core service quality. Limitations: This study is limited to e-commerce consumers in Jabodetabek, and an incomplete measurement of environmental friendliness restricts the generalizability of the findings. Contributions: This research contributes to logistics management practitioners and academics in logistics operations management, particularly within Indonesia’s e-commerce industry.
