Abstract

Abstract

One of the superior programs for agriculture, plantations and food crops through the 3S slogan, namely Sahang (pepper), cows and rice fields, which has been established by the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government, and cows are a source of animal protein that people consume every day. The need for beef will increase at certain moments, for example the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha or other major holidays. Another superior plantation product that is the focus of plantation farmers in Bangka Belitung is oil palm. From these two agricultural commodities, integration of cattle farming and oil palm plantations can be developed with the aim of getting benefits in the form of cross-utilization of waste from oil palm plantations as additional green feed and manure waste. from cattle farms as organic fertilizer, with the hope of efficiency and mutual benefit. However, there are separate problems for small-scale livestock groups in implementing this program, because to utilize agricultural waste in the form of palm fronds requires a chopping process so that it can be used as a replacement feed source for green food, if done manually it will certainly not be able to meet needs. this feed, and this is an obstacle faced by the Towards Prosperity Farmers Group partners on Jalan Belinyu Silip, Riau Silip sub-district, Bangka Regency. From the problems mentioned above, it can be concluded that appropriate technology is needed to help the process of chopping oil palm fronds into cattle feed products, making it easier to provide cattle feed every day, and it is hoped that this solution can increase the number and income of cattle breeders.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Researchers believe that mental health can have a positive relationship and a significant influence on employee performance because mental health, which consists of psychological health and intellectual health, can make employees work stably, measurably, efficiently and effectively in taking every step and making every decision. facing difficulties. Apart from that, researchers also believe that the effect will be more significant if accompanied by good physical activity which leads to good physical health. This research is quantitative research with an explanatory approach. The data used in this research is primary data that researchers obtained from distributing a questionnaire containing 14 items consisting of 6 Mental Health variable question items, 4 Employee Performance variable question items, and 4 Physical Activity variable question items. This data can also be called primary data. This research was conducted on 300 Bank Permata employees spread throughout Indonesia. The resluth in this research show good Mental Health can have a positive relationship and a significant influence on Employee Performance because Mental Health which consists of Mental Health and Intellectual Health can make employees more focused at work, more efficient in completing targets, and more effective in solving existing problems. Therefore, the results of the first row of path coefficients in this study show that the mental health variable can have a positive relationship and a significant influence on employee performance due to the positive P-Values and being below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.021. Apart from that, the results of the second row of the third table of path coefficients show that the beliefs and assumptions of the two researchers can be fulfilled because the P-Values are positive and are below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000, because good physical activity can make the body healthy so that employees can work with focus, fit, and be able to complete any target without hindrance. Moreover, this is accompanied by good mental health and intellectual health. In this way, employee performance can be easily achieved. Based on this, the first and second hypotheses in this research can be accepted.

Abstract

Public interest in pick-up cars as a means of transportation for transporting goods has continued to increase lately because they are considered more flexible for transporting raw materials, workshop products and agricultural products and are capable of being operated on urban and rural roads that have different road roughness, as well as in very high traffic conditions. Plate panels that must be used in pick-up vehicles need to be designed as thin as possible but have high stiffness and natural frequency so that they are more efficient in fuel use and able to withstand vibrations that occur during driving. This study aims to determine the natural frequency that occurs in the plate panel profile for vehicle bodies resulting from the cold rolling process. The galvanized steel plates used are 0.6 and 0.8 mm thick. The natural frequency test method is used with free boundary conditions, where the conditioning plate is suspended by a rope. The natural frequency test tool used is the vibroport 80 at an existential pressure of 10 grams, with the hammer hitting the centre of the panel and the sensors being positioned at 0 and 90 degrees. Based on the test results that have been carried out, the panel specimen with a thickness of 0.8 mm obtained the highest natural frequency value of 922.5 Hz, while for a plate thickness of 0.6 mm, the highest value was only 816.25 Hz. However, the two groups of specimens with plate panel thicknesses of 0.6 and 0.8 mm because of rolling experienced an average increase in natural frequency, reaching 2.3 – 2.5 times when compared to the flat plates without the rolling process. The conclusion is that as the natural frequency value increases, the plate panel stiffness also increases.

Abstract

Galvanized steel sheet is a low carbon steel that is often used in the manufacturing industry, especially in the automotive industry, this is because galvanized sheet has properties that are ductile, easy to form and resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for application as a vehicle body, but low carbon steel sheet has limitations on the level of stiffness of the sheet so that it will affect comfort due to vibration when applied to vehicle construction. The stiffness of the sheet can be increased by forming a groove profile through the rolling process and increasing the thickness of the sheet so that its stiffness and natural frequency value will increase. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of trapezoidal groove formation on the natural frequency of galvanized sheet by the rolling process using a bead rolling die with variations in groove width, groove depth and sheet thickness. The research method used is the experimental method, starting with the determination of the plate dimensions, the determination of the groove width and depth, the process of making groove profiles, the measurement and analysis of the results of the natural frequency values and plate stiffness. The dimensions of the test plates were 575 mm x 600 mm with thicknesses of 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm. The results showed that the increase in natural frequency and stiffness was affected by residual stress and plate thickness. The highest frequency obtained was 330.60 Hz on a plate with a groove width of 12 mm and a groove depth of 5 mm with a thickness of 0.8 mm, this result has increased compared to a smooth plate which is only 30.76 Hz.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension occurred when there was an increase in blood pressure that exceeded the normal limit according to age. A person with hypertension was prone to blood pressure fluctuations, which risked causing complications in the body's organs. Therefore, people with hypertension require therapies to maintain blood pressure stability. The aim of the study was to identify blood pressure before and after therapy and to analyze blood pressure pre- and post-back acupressure therapy in hypertension sufferers.  Methods: This research used experimental method using one group pretest and posttest design. The sample of this study were 30 respondents who had hypertension, using total sampling technique. Back acupressure therapy was provided 8 times in March-April 2023 at the Malang Passionis Monastery Community. Data analysis used the paired T-test.  Results: Almost all respondents were female (90%), and the majority were aged between 45 and 59 years. Half of the respondents (46.7%) held a bachelor's degree. The research results indicated that the average blood pressure before receiving back acupressure therapy was 146.13/89.57 mmHg, while the average blood pressure after the therapy was 117.20/71.86 mmHg. The results of the paired T-test showed a p-value = 0.000.  Conclusion: This research found that there is a difference in blood pressure in hypertensive patients between after and before back acupressure therapy in the Passionist Monastery Community in Malang. Back acupressure therapy is useful for lowering blood pressure. Suggestions for hypertension sufferers need to do back acupressure therapy with a therapist at least twice a week to lower blood pressure.
