Abstract

Red dragon fruit peels and rosella flower petals are combined with a concentrated sucrose to be processed into jam which has health benefits. These benefits are obtained from the antioxidant content of of both ingredients thatcan prevent degenerative diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding rosella flower extract and the appropriate concentration of sucrose on the chemical, organoleptic , and antioxidant activity of good red dragon fruit peel jam. Based on the test results, the jam with the best quality will also be determined. The experimental design used a factorial completely randomized design with three treatments of rosella flowers; 20, 30, and 40% and the sucrose concentrations were 50, 60 and 70%, and repeated three times. The results showed that the combination of rosella calyx and sucrose jam had an effect on pH, vitamin C, antioxidant activity, color, texture and aroma but had no significant effect on water content, total dissolved solids, reducing sugar and taste. Jam treatment with a concentration of 70% sucrose and 30% rosella flower extract produced the best quality based on chemical, physical and organoleptic parameters.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the types of oral corrective feedback implemented in class and its effect on students’ willingness to communicate. As many as 35 senior high school students as well as the teacher were involved in the observation stage of this study and shared their perspectives about the relationship between teacher’s feedbacks on the students’ willingness to communicate through interview. The findings show that there are three types of oral corrective feedback given in the class, i.e. explicit correction, metalinguistic, and clarification request feedback. The students insist that the teacher’s oral corrective feedback does not make them reluctant to communicate to their peers or teacher in the class. Therefore, it can be concluded that teacher’s oral corrective feedback strategy does not disturb the interaction between the teacher and students in the class. It can be inferred that oral corrective feedback is necessary to be implemented in the class because it assists their second language learning.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research was conducted to improve the students’ learning processes and students’ achievement in Bahasa Indonesia class by using Discovery learning model with MIKiR approach. This action was conducted in to two cycles, where each cycle was conducted in two meetings. Based on the data, each cycle showed an increase in both learning processes and learning outcomes. The observation results showed that the students becoming more active after the implementation of discovery learning with MIKiR approach. Cycle one was 70% and it was increased to be 87% in cycle two. This increase also occurred in student learning achievement which continued to increase from the pre-cycle to the first cycle and continued to increase in the second cycle. Before the implementation of the action, only 17% of all students passed the KKM. Then, after the implementation of the action, in the first cycle the average student learning outcomes increased. The percentage increased by 39% from the pre-cycle, i.e. 56% of all students got grades that passed the KKM (70). Then, the learning outcomes of students got increased in the second cycle. Based on the test results of students, the percentage was 78% of 23 students.

Abstract

In accordance with Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 31 of 2020, the Zoning Plan for marine conservation areas is structured based on function by considering resource potential, carrying capacity and ecological processes. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the role of conservation and sustainable ecotourism in Agam Regency on the economic income of fishermen. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. Primary data and secondary data come from fishing communities and related agencies. Collecting physical data by diving using diving equipment and developing analysis using SWOT analysis. The results of the research showed that the role of conservation really opens up economic opportunities for the income of fishermen in Agam Regency. There are areas that fishermen can use as a source of livelihood to meet fishermen's living needs in a sustainable manner, such as opening areas for marine tourism. The SO strategy obtained with a value of  5.19 is a conservation policy that regulates the management of coastal areas to be developed into integrated tourism visiting areas by exploiting existing potential. Increasing supporting facilities and capacity for tourists by utilizing communication technology and social media.

Abstract

Competition in the business world is something that cannot be avoided, for example competition in the banking sector. In this sector, competition has the potential to encourage the business world to be more competitive, and also improve the efficiency and health of banks. The aim of this research is to analyze the competition that occurs between bank BNI and Mandiri using the Lotka-Volterra competition model approach. The results of this research indicate that the type of competition between bank BNI and Mandiri is the predatory-prey, where BNI acts as a prey, while Mandiri acts as a predator. In addition, the results of future net income forecasting show that BNI's net income tends to decline over the next ten years, and after that it will be stable. On the other hand, Mandiri's net income will increase over the next three years, with maximum net income obtained in 2025, and after that it will be stable. Therefore, both of them must adopt a policy to overcome net income which is likely to experience stagnation in the future. Keywords: bank, competition, Lotka-Volterra, net income, predatory, stable

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul analisis pemahaman siswa terhadap pergeseran nilai dan norma pada pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan di kelas XI IPS sekolah menengah atas negeri 4 sintang. Masalah umum dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pemahaman siswa terhadap pergeseran nilai dan norma pada pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan di kelas XI IPS sekolah menengah atas negeri 4 sintang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikn pemahaman siswa terhadap pergeseran nilai dan norma pada pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan di kelas XI IPS sekolah menengah atas negeri 4 sintang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Pemahaman siswa terhadap pergeseran nilai dan norma pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Kelas XI IPS Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 4 Sintang belum memahami. (2) Faktor penyebab terjadinya pergeseran nilai dan norma pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Kelas XI IPS Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 4 Sintang adalah faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor eksternal berupa kepribadian siswa yang masih labil dan faktor eksternal berupa arus informasi, baik dari televisi maupun internet. Kata Kunci: Pergeseran Nilai dan Norma.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis  pada masyarakat suku Dayak Sintang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gagasan agar  para generasi muda khususnya dapat berperan aktif dalam upaya  melestarikan dan menjaga nilai-nilai kearifan budaya lokal Suku Dayak di Sintang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan ditemukan beberapa hal, antara lain sebagai berikut: (1) Melakukan koordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah untuk mengambil kebijakan dalam bentuk himbauan agar Tradisi Gawai Dayak dapat dilaksanakan oleh semua daerah yang merupakan basis masyarakat adat Suku Dayak setiap tahun; (2) Mengikutsertakan setiap elemen masyarakat   sebagai panitia atau bagian dari pelaksana kegiatan Gawai Dayak; (3) Memberikan masukan bagi sekolah agar dapat menjadikan tradisi Gawai Dayak sebagai salah satu materi wajib pada kurikulum muatan lokal di sekolah. Dengan terjalinnya kerjasama antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sekolah diharapkan mampu untuk mempertahankan eksistensi budaya lokal nusantara di tengah arus globalisasi dalam pelestarian tradisi gawai dayak yang terdapat di wilayah Sintang.Kata Kunci: Budaya Lokal Nusantara, Pelestarian Tradisi Gawai Dayak

Abstract

Research Originality: Competition in the banking sector is unavoidable.  Such competition is present among state-owned banks in Indonesia. In contrast to the previous studies that did not include the competition type and its stability, this study includes the competition type and its stability in the estimation.Research Objectives: This study aims to discover the competition type and its stability, and to forecast the market share among the four state-owned banks.Research Methods: Using market share data of assets published annually by each of the banks from 2010 to 2023, the study employs the Lotka-Volterra model approach to analyze the competition type and its stability that occur among the four state-owned banks.Empirical Results: The study discovers that the competition types of the four state-owned banks vary. There have been three competition types among the four state-owned banks: mutualism, predator-prey and pure competition. Besides, the stability property of the four state-owned banks tended to be unstable. By looking at the gains of market share for assets, only Mandiri’s market share gains will increase in the 2024-2028 period. As a result, the total market share gains for the four state-owned banks declined sequentially.Implications:This research holds significance for four state-owned banks in Indonesia as it provides valuable insights into considering the three competition types (mutualism, pure competition and predator-prey) as the primary key to achieving a significant market share value.JEL Classification: C61, D41, E17, G21How to Cite:Jamal, S. Abstract

His study aims to prove whether there is an effect of gender on Arabic learning outcomes at the elementary school level. The research used a quantitative approach, with the research subjects being students in grades II and IV of Asy-Syafi'i Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) in the academic year 2023-2024, with a total sample size of 54 students. The data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis show that there is no significant difference in Arabic learning outcomes based on gender.

Abstract

This quantitative research was conducted in the DKI Jakarta area and focuses on how digital marketing and the use of digital payments influence customers' decisions to buy espresso coffee at Kopi Tuku. The population of this research is Generation Z customers of Kopi Tuku in Jakarta, aged between 17 and 27 years. To measure the population, a Likert scale is used. This study used a purposive sampling method with 264 subjects surveyed. The research analysis method is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The research results show that the use of digital marketing and digital payments significantly influences consumers' decisions to buy something.
