Abstract

This study aims to explore the need for the implementation of a classical guidance model that utilizes Genre Kit media in improving students' understanding of premarital sexual risks. This study uses the Research and Development method consisting of needs analysis, model design, trials, and evaluation. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and surveys involving a sample population of 40 students and 3 counselors. The analysis techniques applied include descriptive analysis to describe the findings and inferential analysis to identify differences between groups that were given intervention and those that were not given intervention. The research findings show that the implementation of Genre Kit media in classical guidance can significantly improve students' understanding of premarital sexual risks. Based on these results, this study concludes that the guidance model developed can be an effective and attractive alternative to increase students' awareness of sexual risks.

Abstract

This study aims to design a transformational leadership model for principals that can strengthen students' religious character at the Junior High School (SMP) level. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, this study analyzes the need to improve the leadership skills of principals in educating students' religious character. The subjects of the study consisted of five principals and ten teachers from junior high schools in Pemalang Regency, selected using a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and questionnaires to identify the challenges faced by principals in implementing transformational leadership. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide recommendations that can improve the effectiveness of leadership based on strengthening students' religious character. The findings of the study revealed that the biggest challenges faced were the lack of training that focused on religious values ​​and the need for a more structured and practical leadership model.

Abstract

The moral and spiritual leadership model plays a strategic role in shaping the religious character of students at MTs Nurul Hidayah Majalangu, Watukumpul, Pemalang. Initial conditions indicate weak implementation of religious programs and low student awareness of worship practices, reflecting the suboptimal effectiveness of the conventional leadership style still in use. Through a qualitative approach based on literature review, it was found that values such as role modeling, responsibility, honesty, and the integration of religious values into policies and learning processes can have a positive impact on students' religious character. The success of this model is strongly influenced by the active involvement of teachers, parental participation, community support, as well as continuous supervision and evaluation. The systematic and collaborative application of moral and spiritual leadership is recommended as an effective strategy for strengthening religious character education in the madrasah environment. Abstract

This study investigates the development and implementation of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) module based on a learning community, aimed at enhancing the pedagogical competencies of teachers in public elementary. The research is structured around three primary questions: (1) What are the needs analysis results for the P5 project module based on a learning community? (2) How is the design for implementing the P5 project module structured? and (3) What is the process of developing the P5 project module to improve the pedagogical competencies of teachers? A limited trial was conducted involving 20 teachers from the Ki Hajar Dewantara cluster, employing qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The findings reveal that the module's structure is coherent and user-friendly, effectively integrating local wisdom through narratives about Ki Gede Sebayu and Ki Ageng Anggawana. Teachers generally responded positively to the module's content, recognizing its relevance to Pancasila values, though they suggested the inclusion of more diverse and interactive activities to foster student engagement. Observational data indicated that students exhibited increased participation in project-based learning initiatives, although some teachers noted difficulties in maintaining students' focus during activities. The overall evaluation indicated that the module is effective in supporting teacher competency development, with an average score of 81.71% for the module's structure and 82.8% for the content, categorizing them as "Very Good."

Abstract

Young children are highly sensitive to their surroundings and tend to imitate the behavior of the adults around them. Therefore, education and the habit of clean and healthy living from an early age are very important in forming positive habits and preventing disease in the future. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Mokoau Community Health Center through counseling students on how to live healthily to prevent intestinal worms, diarrhea, and infectious diseases at school and at home, with the help of leaflets. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' knowledge about the prevention of intestinal worms, diarrhea, respiratory infections, and measles. They understood that intestinal worms can be transmitted through dirty soil or food and the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, such as washing hands and wearing footwear. This improvement was evident during the discussion session, when students were able to answer questions correctly and explain how to prevent these diseases. In addition, students were also able to practice proper hand washing and apply coughing and sneezing etiquette.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from the Tidore Islands City Health Office, an inspection was conducted on kiosks/small stalls/stalls in several areas of North Oba District in 2023. The inspection results showed that of the 96 kiosks/small stalls in North Oba District, 74 (77%) were found to be selling restricted over-the-counter drugs despite not having a permit as a legal drug kiosk. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the practice of selling restricted over-the-counter drugs in small stalls. This type of research used quantitative research with a descriptive design.cross sectional.There are four variables that have a relationship with the practice of selling restricted over-the-counter drugs: knowledge (p = 0.001), social environment (p = 0.003), economy (p = 0.000), supervision (p = 0.000). The knowledge of business actors and residents in the social environment greatly influences the practice of selling restricted over-the-counter drugs by business actors in small shops. Poor knowledge of both sellers and buyers about the dangers of restricted over-the-counter drugs sold without a doctor's prescription is still very high. In addition, low economic conditions and government supervision of the distribution of restricted over-the-counter drugs in small shops without official permits are among the factors that continue to be widespread in the practice of selling restricted over-the-counter drugs.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a principal supervision model using a Canva-based BAGJA Coaching approach to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Pemalang Regency. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, consisting of the Define, Design, and Develop stages, with the development process limited to the Develop stage due to research scope and time constraints. The research was conducted in several primary schools within the KWK Ulujami area, Pemalang Regency, selected through purposive sampling based on school readiness and the need for academic supervision implementation. The research population consisted of 70 primary school teachers, with 56 teachers and several school principals involved as research subjects, while the research object was the Canva-assisted BAGJA Coaching-based principal supervision model. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation of supervision implementation, expert validation, and user response questionnaires. The research instruments included interview guidelines, observation sheets, expert validation sheets from material, media, and supervision experts, and practicality and effectiveness questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using a mixed-methods approach, with qualitative data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique and quantitative data analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the developed supervision model was highly feasible in terms of content validity, media design, and applicability. Limited trials indicated increased teacher activeness in reflective practices and more participatory supervision processes. The study concludes that the Canva-assisted BAGJA Coaching-based principal supervision model has strong potential as an alternative supervision strategy that meets the demands of education in the digital era and effectively enhances elementary school teachers’ professional competence.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the factors that influence the implementation of Coaching in academic supervision to enhance the quality of teaching at SMP Negeri 2 Balapulang. A qualitative case study method was used, with data gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that school principals recognize the significance of Coaching to support their roles as facilitators of learning. Teachers expressed a desire for more reflective supervision that facilitates their professional growth. Key factors contributing to the successful implementation of Coaching include teachers' willingness to embrace change and a well-organized supervision schedule. However, challenges such as the lack of formal Coaching training, authoritarian leadership styles, and the principals' heavy administrative duties were identified. The study suggests the development of Coaching programs that are tailored to meet the specific needs of schools and the adoption of more humanistic and collaborative supervision policies. It is anticipated that these changes will lead to improved teaching quality and promote continuous professional development for teachers.
