Abstract

This research discusses the construction of the radicalism meaning in the people of Gampong Bueng Bakjok, Aceh Besar district. This study aims to reveal the perspective of the Gampong Bueng Bakjok Community regarding the meaning of radicalism and the link between the understanding of radicalism in society. Using qualitative research methods, where researchers directly observe the people being studied and try to analyze objective and subjective experiences. The key informants in this study were the people of Gampong Bueng Bakjok. because they are considered representative and have the capacity to answer problems. While the supporting informants were community leaders in Gampong Bueng Bakjok, who immediately became role models for the community. Analysis of the data was carried out using Peter L. Berger's theory of social construction which looks at three main factors of construction; externalization, objectivation and internalization. The results of this study reveal that the understanding of radicalism in society is divided into 4 parts, radicalism has the meaning of creating chaos and violence; thinks himself most righteous; critical and hard in preaching; rude in social interaction and prejudice with other than the group or class. The article recommends that community leaders and community observers use the results of this research to prevent the dangers and misunderstandings of the construction of the meaning of radicalism, especially for the community. Keywords: Construction, Radicalism, Society

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam menetapkan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) melalui implementasi kegiatan Workshop di SMP Negeri 1 Indra Makmu. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesiapan guru terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan melibatkan 10 orang guru sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas 4 tahapan, yakni: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan adalah: bila minimal 80% guru tergolong mampu dan baik dalam aspek penilaian terhadap penyusunan KKM, maka sudah dapat dikatakan tindakan yang diterapkan berhasil. Aspek yang diukur dalam menilai keberhasilan tindakan adalah kesiapan guru mengikuti kegiatan Workshop dan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan Workshop. Dari analisis diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan kinerja guru dalam menyusun KKM secara baik dan benar dari siklus I yaitu sebesar 60% meningkat tajam pada siklus II menjadi 90%. Ketercapaian indikator kinerja terdapat pada tindakan II. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui implementasi kegiatan Workshop dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam menyusun KKM secara benar di SMP Negeri 1 Indra Makmu. Dengan demikian dapat disarankan kepada sekolah yang lain bahwa kegiatan Workshop dapat diaplikasikan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam menyusun KKM.

Abstract

The teacher's perception of the performance of the principal at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City can be viewed from the aspect of personality, the principal's knowledge of education staff, understanding of the school's vision and mission, decision-making ability and communication skills. As for the formulation of the problem in this study, how is the teacher's perception of the performance of the principal at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh? This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of the performance of principals at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh.The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects used in this study were 6 teachers. Collecting data in this study using interview techniques. To analyze research data, researchers used data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusions.The results of research at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh every time they want to make an internal decision the school always holds meetings and consults with the teachers to find the best solution for the school, always works together in carrying out any matter, is also always wise in making decisions by the principal and all teachers and staff are always compact, working together to advance the school. Meanwhile, to make decisions external to the school, the principal holds meetings and consults with teachers, committees and student guardians and also always asks for solutions and gives good suggestions.From the results of the study it can be concluded that at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh it was found that the teacher's perception of the performance of the principal was very necessary as a reference for the principal in analyzing his performance to build a better school and the results of interviews with the six teachers regarding the performance of the principal could be categorized already well. The principal has been able to carry out his duties as a leader and is very responsible and wise in all matters, be it discipline and good cooperation

Abstract

Obstacle marriage is a criminal act prohibited in Article 279 of the Criminal Code, categorized as a crime of origin of marriage. Law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal acts mentioned in Article 279 of the Criminal Code is still experiencing inconsistencies, considering that crimes against the head of marriage have different interpretations from law enforcers. The purpose of this study is to look at the law enforcement process against criminal acts as an impediment to marriage in Aceh and to find out the reasons for the inconsistency of law enforcement against marriage crimes. The method in this study uses an empirical approach, which this approach combines legal and empirical (field) studies. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews. The results of the study indicate that law enforcement carried out by law enforcement officers such as the police, prosecutors and courts still have different understandings of the elements of criminal acts in Article 279 of the Criminal Code. This difference can be seen from the understanding of Article 279 of the Criminal Code regarding barriers to marriage. The lack of consistency in the law enforcement process for violations of Article 279 is because the law in Indonesia does not adhere to a legally binding system of jurisprudence in imposing criminal charges so each judge can interpret the article differently. In this regard, policymakers should provide clear conditions regarding violations of the origin of marriage in Article 279 of the Criminal Code, so there is no interpretation among law enforcement officers.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the Qur'an integrated worked example vector to increase the value of spiritual characters seen from the partial eta square in the Anava Mixed Design - General Linear Model (GLM). This type of research is quantitative research with experimental research methods. The research design used was the Pretest-Posttest Mixed Design with the experimental group - control. The samples used were 20 students each in both groups. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The test instrument used was a spiritual character score test of 20 multiple choice questions that were validated by 3 expert judgments in the field of character education, 2 physics lecturers, 1 religion lecturer, and 4 colleagues and obtained Aiken's V score of 0.83 with the category very good. Empirical tests were also carried out to see the level of reliability and feasibility of the item questions. A total of 185 students were involved. The reliability result is 0.97 with a very high category and 20 questions are suitable for use based on the output of the QUEST program. The results showed that there was a significant improvement difference between the control and experimental classes, where the worked example was able to increase the value of spiritual characters with an effectiveness of 61% based on the partial eta square output in the experimental class while in the control group an effectiveness of 10 percent was obtained.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium entrepreneurs are the economic drivers at the lower levels and they generally rely on the ability of human resources. Nevertheless, they will be extraordinary if all their potential is nurtured, explored and developed because the factors that trigger success are not only determined by external conditions, but also internal conditions. Among the internal factors that spur one's success are locus of control, learning, and adversity quotient. This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of locus of control, learning, and adversity quotient on business success. The research respondents were a foster group of entrepreneurs under Banjarmasin, total 1881 people. With the Slovin formula, 100 respondents appear. The results of the study showed partially that the t value of the effect of locus of control on business success was 3.046. T value calculated the effect of learning on business success was 2,150. T value calculated the effect of adversity quotient on business success was 4.924. Thus, adversity quotient had the most dominant influence on business success. The correlation coefficient of 51,944 and the probability value between variables of 0,000 indicate a significant effect between locus of control, learning, and adversity quotient on business success simultaneously. Finally, it was found that R square 0.619 means 69.1% where business success can be explained by the locus of control, learning, and adversity quotient variables; the remaining 30.9% was explained by other factors. The research findings that the guidance provided must be ongoing, not only with training, but also need to foster mental and spiritual change as a true entrepreneurship through strong locus of control, continuous learning, and high adversity quotient.

Abstract

This research aimed to reveal (1) how the Cued retell strategy can improve the students’ reading comprehension, (2) to describe the classroom situation when Cued retell strategy is implemented to teach reading comprehension, and (3) to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of Cued retell strategy to teach reading comprehension to the eleventh graders of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The research used Classroom action Research and was carried out in two cycles with three meetings in Cycle 1 and two meetings in Cycle 2. There were two kinds of data collection during the research, quantitative and qualitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was reading comprehension test in multiple-choice, while for qualitative data, gathered through observation sheet and field note to obtain the class situation during the implementation of the Cued retell strategy and reflection sheet to guide the reflecting phase in the end of each cycle. The result of the research showed that (1) cued retell strategy was able to improve students’ reading comprehension; (2) cued retell strategy was able to improve classroom situation, in terms of students’ motivation, participation and interaction; and (3) there were some advantages and disadvantages of implementation of Cued retell strategy to teach reading comprehension

Abstract

Universitas Musamus Merauke memiliki 18 Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) yang terdiri dari UKM PPI, UKM Racana, UKM Alfa Omega, UKM AL-Kamil, UKM Taekwondo, UKM Paduan Suara, UKM Mapala, UKM Futsal, UKM Karate, UKM Catur, UKM Teater, UKM Pencak Silat, UKM Volly, UKM Basket, UKM Seni Tari, UKM Bola Kaki, UKM Badminton, dan UKM KMK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini agar proses pengajuan proposal kegiatan berjalan dengan baik serta sesuai standar. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini ialah metode penelitian survei, metode ini mendukung dalam pengambilan data dilapangan serta kuisioner untuk melihat tanggapan dari para pengguna sistem yang akan menggunakan sistem tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah sistem informasi pendataan dan monitoring proposal unit kegiatan mahasiswa (UKM) di UNMUS diharapkan dapat mendukung pihak minat, bakat, dan penalaran (MBP) dalam mendata serta monitoring proposal kegiatan yang dibuat oleh UKM-UKM yang ada di UNMUS, sehingga proses pendataan dan monitoring dapat berjalan efektif dan efisien

Abstract

The Role of Parents in Character Building Children's discipline is very large and has an important role. Education is a shared responsibility, namely family, community, and school. The family is the first educational institution for children. Parents take an important role in shaping children, including shaping the character of discipline. Parents have an important role in instilling attitudes, talents, and character in children. Cooperation between parents is very influential, a father who has the skills to lead and educate must be able to teach these skills to the mother where the mother is the one who spends the most time with the child even when the child is still in the womb. So that parents can provide adequate learning and love to their children. Parents have a responsibility to shape the character of their children. One of the characters taught in the family environment is discipline.Keywords: Parents, Discipline character of children.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in instilling Pancasila values in students. The approach in research is qualitative and descriptive research type. The subjects in the study were 6 class teachers at SDN 62 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the research results, it is known that teachers in grades I-VI have played the role of educators, mentors, coaches in instilling Pancasila values, namely the value of divinity and the value of unity, teachers in grades I-III have not implemented human, populist, and justice values, while teachers in grades IV-VI has played a role in instilling the values of humanity, democracy, and justice. The conclusion in this study is that teachers have played a role in instilling Pancasila values, namely class IV to class V but there are also obstacles in instilling Pancasila values in students, unlike the case with class I, II, III teachers, they still have not fully played a role as educators, trainers and mentors because some of the Pancasila values have not been implemented.
