Abstract

The digital age in the pandemic requires self-reliance in learning. Toward to train and develop the character of student self-regulated learning, this website presents a media visualization that can support the improvement of feelings of student independence through science literacy activities. This research aims to develop student independence in elementary school used website media that provides content in science literacy activities. The sample of this study is second-grade students from Pondok Kelapa 04 elementary school, East Jakarta, Indonesia, in the 2020/2021 school year. The results showed that a media site is known as Wetracy (Website for Literacy) influenced the development of the character of independence of second-grade students in science literacy activities. Thus, the study concluded that website media could effectively stimulate student’s self-reliance character in science literacy.

Abstract

When school students are required to stay at home, as is the case with the current COVID-19 pandemic, parents need good parenting skills and a good level of education. Apart from monitoring the temperament and performance of their children, parents should try to meet their children's educational needs as effectively as possible. This study aims to provide a basis for decisions about data preparation and analysis and how the research results should be interpreted and reported. Thus, the main problem addressed in this study is the attitude of students' responsibility in distance learning. The type of research used is a descriptive quantitative research that only uses one variable, namely the attitude of responsibility. The results of this study concluded that students could make their own decisions, being able to keep time, being able to complete assigned tasks, being able to get through difficult times, being able to accept the consequences, and learn from failure.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many countries have implemented online learning. This study provides an overview of how the role of parental supervision in the implementation of online learning. This research uses descriptive method by distributing questionnaires using google form. The sample criteria are parents aged 30-45, the data taken from parents are parents who have school children and who live in Bogor, Indonesia. With a sample of 50 people. The questionnaire was distributed online via the WhatsApp application. The results showed that there were 50 respondents with a percentage of 67,14% and it can be concluded that the role of parental supervision in the implementation of online learning is in the medium category.

Abstract

Almost all sectors of life have felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Education is one of the sectors that feel the effect. Schools conduct distance learning to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. As a result, many students experience various emotions, one of which is boredom. This study analyzes learning boredom between male and female elementary school students in Jakarta, Indonesia, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data in the form of a closed questionnaire where respondents are given five alternative answers. Furthermore, it is investigated whether there is a difference in boredom between men and women. This research was conducted with 23 male students and 20 female students in elementary school. The results showed boredom in male and female students caused by psychological factors, situational factors, and cultural factors. There are differences in learning boredom between male and female students, but not statistically significant.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia for about a year, and many activities have shifted online. No exception in the field of education. Learning is done online or in distance learning. The existence of distance learning does not rule out the possibility of bringing a change, including student discipline. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the field of elementary school students during distance learning. Descriptive quantitative is used as a method in conducting this research. Respondents in this study were 41 students at the State Elementary School 02 Pagelaran, Pemalang, Central Java. Filling out the questionnaire was used as a way to collect data. The results showed that at the time of distance learning, students' discipline was included in the moderate category with 46%, and the results could not be generalized to all elementary school levels in Indonesia.

Abstract

Creative thinking is one of the thinking abilities of students in solving problems in the process of learning activities. This study aims to 1) identify creative thinking skills performed by elementary school students; 2) identify factors that influence creative thinking skills in elementary schools in the digital era; 3) to analyze the implementation of creative thinking methods or techniques given to elementary school students; 4) analyze publication articles (objectives, methods, and research results) in scientific journals in 2010-2022 related to the creative thinking skills of elementary school students. This research uses a systematic literature review method with all articles found and processed based on the criteria of inclusion, exclusion, quality assessment which is then found as many as 25 articles analyzed in accordance with the questions that have been set. The results of the study are in the form of an overview of creative thinking that has been widely discussed by previous studies including influential factors in creative thinking, methods or techniques used and research trends during the period 2010-2022. This research has implications for the discovery of future research that can be used as an initial foothold for future researchers who have an interest in the theme of research on creative thinking skills in students. Abstrak Berpikir kreatif salah satu kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah didalam proses kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) mengidentifikasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang dilakukan oleh siswa sekolah dasar; 2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif di sekolah dasar pada era digital; 3) untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan dari metode atau teknik kemampuan berpikirkreatif yang diberikan ke siswa sekolah dasar; 4) menganalisis artikel publikasi (tujuan, metode, dan hasil penelitian) dalam jurnal ilmiah tahun 2010-2022 berkaitan dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar. Penenlitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan seluruh artikel yang ditemukan dan diolah berdasarkan kriteria inklusi, eksklusi, quality assesment yang kemudian ditemukan sebanyak 25 artikel dianalisis sesuai dengan pertanyaan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian berupa gambaran berupa berpikir kreatif yang selama ini banyak dibahas oleh penelitian terdahulu termasuk faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam berpikir kreatif, metode atau teknik yang digunakan dan kecenderungan penelitian selama kurun waktu tahun 2010-2022. Penenlitian ini berimpilkasi pada ditemukannya penelitian berikutnya yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pijakan awal para peneliti berikutnya yang memiliki ketertarikan dalam tema penelitian tentang kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa.

Abstract

The low ability of students to solve science problems is caused by the lack of effectiveness in the use of learning models and media. This study aims to analyze the effect of problem-based learning models assisted by animation media on the ability to solve science problems for grade IV elementary school students. The research method used was an experiment using a posttest-only control design. The samples taken using the simple cluster random sampling technique amounted to 30 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. Data analysis techniques used includes descriptive statistics and inferential statistics by testing hypotheses using t-tests. The results showed that the average score in the experimental group was 82.4, while in the control group was 59.1. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05 or less than (α=0.05), indicating a significant difference in science problem-solving ability between students in the experimental group and the control group. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model assisted by animation media has a significant influence on the science problem-solving ability of grade IV elementary school students. With the results of this research, it is hoped that teachers can integrate problem-based learning models and animation media in the learning process to improve students' science problem-solving abilities in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning aims to achieve civic character (civic disposition), civic skills and civic knowledge . The material studied is related to the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The material provided teaches many concepts, but to achieve character or attitude, it is necessary to develop learning media that accommodates the material, Civics learning objectives and students who are the millennial generation with their own characteristics. The aim of this research is to analyze the needs of digital Fotonovelas with analysis stages: needs analysis, analysis of digital Fotonovela characteristics, and curriculum analysis so that information can be obtained about the initial conceptual design of digital Fotonovelas using contextual learning principles. The research method uses mixed methods , qualitative and literature study. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews with educators and students and literature reviews . The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The data analysis process uses the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model which includes 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions

Abstract

This research aims to describe the teaching quality of teachers in the learning process at State Elementary School 154, Gandus District, Palembang City. This study uses a qualitative method. The informants in the research were school principals and teachers to improve the quality of learning at State Elementary School 154, Gandus District, Palembang City. Data collection in this research used interviews. The results of this research show that the quality of teachers teaching in the learning process at State Elementary School 154, Gandus District, Palembang City can be said to be good, the obstacles faced are lack of facilities and infrastructure, lack of funding allocation, strategies implemented to maximize resources so that the learning process can run. well and achieving learning objectives. Based on the findings from the research, it can be recommended that school managers allocate school funds appropriately so that infrastructure deficiencies can be overcome, as well as evaluate strategies that have been implemented for future improvements. The results of the research can be used as a reference and input for teachers and school management, especially regarding efforts to improve the quality of teachers in teaching.

Abstract

Ada beberapa kesulitan yang diketahui pada proses pembelajaran Matematika di sekolah dasar. Salah satu kesulitannya adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan LKPD yang kurang inovatif serta belum berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Sehingga, peneliti berupaya untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Matematika berbasis problem based learning (PBL) yang diharapkan dapat melatih kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik agar meningkat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Hannafin & Peck. Hasil  validasi  dari  ahli  media  menunjukkan kelayakan  dengan  persentase  100%,  ahli  materi  dengan  78.33%  dan  ahli  bahasa  sebesar  90% dan rata-rata ketiganya  dikategorikan  pada  kriteria  kelayakan “Sangat  Baik”.  Hasil  dari  uji coba kepada  peserta  didik  yang dilakukan  menunjukkan  masing-masing  hasil  dari  one to one  dengan  penilaian persentase  kelayakan  95.55%, small group sebesar 97.08% dan  field test  sebesar  97.22%  yang  menjadikan  media berada di dalam kriteria kelayakan “Sangat Baik”. Dapat dikatakan LKPD “Asyiknya Belajar Tentang Pecahan Senilai” yang dikembangkan  dapat  digunakan  pada  pembelajaran  materi  pecahan senilai berorientasi kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada Matematika kelas IV SD
