Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to produce learning tools based on the PBL model in illustration drawing activities. Research design is development research with the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implemente, Evaluate (ADDIE) model. Data collection instruments through validation questionnaires and field trials. The results of the study showed that the average of the overall assessment aspects of learning planning experts was 96% (very valid), Indonesian material experts 85% (very valid), science material experts 91% (very valid), SBdP material experts 85% (very valid), media experts 88% (very valid). The results of the practicality test from the individual test student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 85% (very practical), small group 95% (very practical), and large group 99% (very practical).Keyword: Learning Tools, Problem Based Learning, Drawing IllustrationsAbstrak: Penelitianbertujuanuntuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaranberbasis model PBL dalam kegiatan menggambar ilustrasi. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model Analyze, Design, Develop, Implemente, Evaluate (ADDIE). Instrumen pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner validasi dan uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata keseluruhan aspek penilaian ahli perencanaan pembelajaran 96% (sangat valid), ahli materi bahasa Indonesia 85% (sangat valid), ahli materi IPA 91% (sangat valid), ahli materi SBdP 85% (sangat valid), ahli media 88% (sangat valid). Hasil uji kepraktisan dari angket respon peserta didik uji perorangan memperoleh skor rata-rata 85% (sangat praktis), kelompok kecil 95% (sangat praktis), dan kelompok besar 99% (sangat praktis).Kata Kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, problem based learning, menggambar llustrasi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of differentiated learning strategies assisted by children's movie stories in improving the viewing skills of grade 5 elementary school students. The problem of this research is based on the low viewing skills of students in elementary schools and the non-optimal use of audiovisual media in Indonesian language learning. This research used quantitative method with quasi experimental design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects were experimental class at SDN Cikoneng 1 and control class at SDN Sukaraja 1. The research instruments included pretest and posttest tests, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed that the application of differentiated learning strategy helped by children's movie stories was significantly more effective than conventional learning in improving students' viewing skills. In addition, the implementation of this strategy also increases students' interest and participation in learning. This proves that the combination of differentiated approach and children's movie-based audiovisual media can create adaptive, interesting and appropriate learning with students' characteristics. The research findings contribute positively to the development of Indonesian language learning models based on visual literacy and provide alternative strategies to improve digital literacy skills, especially viewing skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study developed a learning media called Learn AniMe! based on the Scaffolding approach for teaching English vocabulary on the Animals theme to third-grade elementary school students. The method used was Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This web-based media integrates Google Sites and Scratch, aligned with students’ concrete operational stage. Validation results from media and material experts indicated a “highly feasible” category with scores of 88.23% and 100%, respectively. Small-group and large-group trials yielded average scores of 98.57% and 88.10%, both falling into the “excellent” category. This media is considered feasible to be used as an innovative alternative for English language learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Writing is one of the essential skills in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level. However, many students still struggle to write descriptive texts in a complete and structured manner. This issue arises from the suboptimal use of learning media and the lack of explicit guidance from teachers during the writing process. This study aims to examine the effect of using the Deskripedia application, which is based on guided writing, on the descriptive writing skills of sixth-grade elementary school students. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 30 sixth-grade students from SDN Pasirjati. The main instrument used was a descriptive text writing test, assessed based on text structure and linguistic features. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and N-Gain score. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ writing skills after using Deskripedia, with the average score increasing from 36.63 (pretest) to 85.30 (posttest). The Wilcoxon test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), and the mean N-Gain score of 76.74 indicated a high category of improvement. These findings suggest that Deskripedia is an effective digital learning medium for enhancing students’ writing skills in a structured and independent manner.

Abstract

Reading skills are an important basic skill to be mastered by elementary school students, especially at the low grade level. However, in practice, many students have difficulty understanding the content of reading due to the use of less attractive learning media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of digital picture story media based on Canva application on reading skills of grade II students of SD Negeri Sukaraja 1. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two grade II classes selected through purposive sampling technique, namely the experimental class of 27 students and the control class of 28 students. The experimental class was treated using Canva-based digital picture story media, while the control class used conventional media. The research instruments included reading skill tests and student interviews. The Mann-Whitney test results on pretest scores showed no significant difference between the experimental and control classes (p = 0.249 > 0.05), which means that the students' initial abilities were comparable. After the treatment, the Wilcoxon test showed a significant improvement in the experimental class, and the Mann-Whitney test on the posttest showed a significant difference between the two classes. The interview results also showed that students gave positive responses to the use of the media. Thus, the Canv-based digital picture story media.

Abstract

The problems in the world of education today show the importance of literacy that is not only limited to reading and writing, but also digital literacy and based on artificial intelligence (AI). However, there are significant challenges because many teachers are not yet good at interpreting this technology into learning. The purpose of the pinu research is to increase literacy with deep learning technology among teachers on Tidung Island. This study uses a seminar method of presentation techniques, independent assignments and peer tutors accompanied by the Pre-Test and Post-Test stages and a recapitulation of the results of various aspects of the activity. The results show a substantial increase in understanding and are evidenced by an increase in the average score of 32.1%. In addition, teachers realize that AI can accelerate the work of teacher needs. In conclusion, the method used can bridge the gap in access to technological information and successfully increase the capacity of human resources in the field of education. The implication is that this study emphasizes the need for ongoing efforts to improve teacher technology literacy for better professionalism.

Abstract

This application aims to introduce Sundanese politeness to elementary school students, especially fourth graders. The resulting product is a digital application called SANTABASUN, which was developed using Smart Apps Creator, Canva, and Capcut software. The data collection process was carried out through interviews, questionnaires filled out by validators, material experts, media experts, and user responses filled out by students. This study used the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, nameIy anaIysis, design, deveIopment, impIementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the SANTABASUN application has met the eligibility criteria. Based on the assessment by media experts, the application obtained a score of 96% which is categorized as very feasible, while the materiIl experts obtained a score of 87% which is also categorized as very feasible. In terms of user response, the smaIIl group trial produced a percentage of 94% and is categorized as very good, while the large group trial obtained a percentage of 97% which is also categorized as very good. These findings indicate that the SANTABASUN application is considered effective and suitabIe for use as an interactive Iearning medium to introduce Sundanese politeness. The application's strengths lie in its attractive appearance, relevant content, and visual and audio support, which aid comprehension. However, there's still ample potential for further development, such as expanding the user base to various groups and educational levels, and adding a variety of materials to enhance comprehensive learning.

Abstract

The diverse levels of reading comprehension skills often become an obstacle in the learning process at the elementary school level. Learning cannot be standardized but must accommodate student diversity, in line with the Merdeka Belajar concept in the Merdeka Curriculum. In this curriculum, differentiated instruction is promoted as an effective solution to address such challenges. This study aims to examine the feasibility and effectiveness of leveled narrative texts in differentiated instruction based on learning readiness. The research was conducted with 27 fourth-grade students at a public elementary school in Majalengka Regency, West Java, employing a Design and Development (D&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Differentiation was applied to the learning content by developing leveled narrative texts for low, medium, and high groups, determined through a diagnostic test of narrative text comprehension. Expert validation confirmed that the developed teaching materials were feasible to use. The implementation results showed that 93% of students achieved the learning objectives, with an average score of 81.3 in the final evaluation. These findings highlight that leveled narrative texts integrated into differentiated instruction are effective in supporting students’ reading comprehension skills and can serve as a strategic alternative for literacy learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Mahasiswa UPI Kampus Sumedang dengan kemampuan strategisnya membuat, mengemas dan memasarkan sebuah produk dengan pangsa pasar teman sekelas minimalnya, sampai dosen dan seluruh tenaga kependidikan adalah sebuah entitas potensial yang perlu diberi perhatian. Perlu dipikirkan dan dipetakan upaya untuk mewujudkan kondisi ideal mahasiswa yang berjiwa entrepreneur, tanpa mengganggu aktivitas mereka sebagai mahasiswa. Pada akhirnya, para usahawan muda ini perlu dilatih untuk berpikir taktis, berprinsip kerja cerdas, berbuat jelas, bertindak tegas. Program ini bertajuk 5T (Tips, Trik, Tenure, and Tact to Trade) bermaksud memberikan pelatihan intensif untuk mewujudkan wirausahawan muda kampus yang potensial dan inovatif serta berjiwa entrepreneur.
