Abstract

This study was based on 23-year period time series data from 1983 to 2005. An OLS method was applied to test the hypothesis that economic variables such as private investments, local government spending, prices of domestic goods, prices of goods and income of the adjacent regions (Jakarta and South Sumatera Province) have effects on the economic growth of Lampung Province. The results of this study show that the independent economic variables have significant effects on the economic growth of Lampung Province. It is found that the interregional linkage is important. A comparison of the two neighbor provinces shows that the linkage of Lampung’s economy with Jakarta’s economy is relatively stronger than that with South Sumatera Province. The implication of this study is that the provincial and local governments of Lampung as well as the people of Lampung should make better use of the spatial spillover effect of DKI Jakarta and South Sumatera Province.

Abstract

The Convergence Hypothesis is still an interesting topic by looking at whether between regions are reaching the point of convergence or divergence in economic activity, the farther apart or the economic gap between regions is getting smaller. The analysis tool with multiple linear regression uses the Fixed Effect model approach, this study uses the per capita GRDP variable in the research year and the previous year. The secondary data is in the form of panel data with 15 districts and cities and the 2015-2019 research time series. The results of the study explain that there has been an absolute convergence process, this is marked by a negative and significant coefficient, an indication of the speed of reducing the economic gap by 4.8%, the time required in a process of reducing the gap from the initial gap is 14.17 years between 15 districts and cities in Lampung Province 2015-2019.

Abstract

Many research in economics only focus on the independence of a region while neglecting the effects of space and the interaction that occurs between mutually adjacent areas. The purpose of this study is to measure the multidimensional poverty concept in 15 districts/cities in the province of Lampung in 2015-2019. Spatial analysis such as moran i statistics, LISA clustered map, and lisa signification are used to analyze spatial patterns and spatial autocorrelation. Spatial modeling with spatial autoregressive model, geoda and geographical information systems are used as explanatory spatial data and spatial modeling. The results show that the percentage of poor people between districts/cities in Lampung Province have positive Moran's I values, there is a clustered pattern in 2015-2019, Moran scatter plot depicts 4 quadrants, LISA Cluster map indicates high-high and low-low areas, and LISA map has 4 significant areas. Spatial regression results show that per capita expenditure for nonfood has a negative effect, per capita expenditure for food has a positive effect, population growth rate has a positive effect, household clean water has a positive effect, life expectancy has a negative effect, mean years of schooling has a negative effect, and simultaneously the independent variables have a significant influence on the percentage of poor people. Poverty in Lampung Province is spatially related to each other between regions, the findings suggest that the variables used affect spatially. The implication of this result is one of the basis for inter-regional policies in the interests of multi-dimensional poverty alleviation between regions. Keywords: Poverty, Spatial analysis, Spatial Autoregressive Model (SAR)

Abstract

Abstract- The main objective in this research is attempting to demonstrate alignement mechanism of supply and bussiness strategy. Companies are beginning to view supply chain management and procurement as a rising priority.  Procurement has traditionally been a cost-driven model, finding suppliers that can provide the best product at the lowest cost. In stressing the sociotechnical qualities of the supply chain, it is argued the bussiness is the only common element to the entire demand chain. Brand strategy management should be both a demand and supply chain priority, in contrast to its general demand chain focus. It is restrictive lawful rights that secure works of initiation, structure or work of art. A business strategy of any work save the distribution,  creation or clearance of the rights to education, melodic, imaginative work, sensational, computer program, or to utilization of a business print or mark. Results showed that having a strong brand not only supports your interactions with stakeholders but with your employees and suppliers too. This is especially important if you are driving transformation within the organization.

Abstract

As a tourist destination, environmental management is crucial, because it is also an effort to satisfy tourists' appetite so that the attractiveness of tourists to visit is getting higher. Apart from that, environmental management also provides significant benefits and contributions to the smooth and sustainable implementation of development programs, especially in the tourism sector in Bali. Therefore, maintaining a well-ordered environment is the obligation of all existing communities. However, there are still many people who are not aware of the importance of environmental management so that there are still many violations related to the environment in Bali. For example, such as Water Pollution by Tofu Waste in Tukad Badung Denpasar, water pollution in Tukad Badung here is mostly carried out by small-scale home businesses, such as Tofu Businesses, most of which do not have an AMDAL (Medium Environmental Impact Analysis) permission for reasons of low profit. In addition, the cause of environmental damage in Bali area is due to development on the riverbanks, such as the construction of unlicensed houses that have a negative impact on the surrounding environment because the construction of these houses will create household waste that will pollute river water. Then the first problem can be formulated. How is the law enforcement carried out by the Bali Provincial Civil Service Police Unit against the buildings in the River Border and secondly what are the obstacles faced by the Bali Provincial Civil Service Police Unit in enforcing the law against riverbank offenders. Finally, it can be concluded that there are many types local government actions in controlling spatial use in river border areas. The type of action in its implementation has been regulated in a standard operating procedure (SOP) and can be classified as public government action. As well as that the factors that influence legal action in controlling spatial use in the riverbank area consist of driving and inhibiting factors. The driving factor is the factor of the law, the factor of law enforcement and the factor of facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in controlling the use of space in the river border area in Bali province is influenced by community factors.

The limitation of economic indicators in representing the level of community welfare has increased the world's attention to social aspects of development. Development progress, which has been seen more by economic indicators, such as economic growth and poverty reduction, is considered insufficient to reflect the right level of welfare. This study aims to determine the effect of GDP per capita, environmental index, and unemployment on the happiness index of 9 countries in ASEAN. Estimation results show that the variable GDP per capita significantly and negatively influences the happiness index. The environmental index has a positive effect on the Happiness Index, and unemployment has a positive impact on the happiness index. Based on the results of special effects, there are individual effect values in 9 ASEAN countries. Singapore is the country with the most significant personal impact, and the Philippines is the country with the smallest particular effect.
