Abstract

This study aims to research the causality relationship between industrial agglomeration in labor, fisheries production, and fisheries households in Tanggamus district. The agglomeration index measured using the Balassa Hoover Index analysis tool and Geographic Information System (GIS) using Geoda. The data used are secondary data obtained directly from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Department of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs of Tanggamus Regency. The number of cross-section data is 20 districts in the period 2012-2016. analyzed using the Granger Causality Analysis method. The Hoover Ballassa index results show a strong degree of agglomeration in only 6 districts. The results of the analysis of the relationship between states of origin state that there is a unidirectional causality between the agglomeration and labor variables, which statistically significantly influence the agglomeration and do not apply otherwise. Unidirectional causality occurs between agglomeration variables and fisheries production only fisheries production which statistically significantly influences agglomeration and does not apply vice versa. Unidirectional causality occurs between agglomeration variables and fisheries households ie only fishery households that statistically significantly influence agglomeration and do not apply otherwise.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify leading sectors that have comparative and competitive advantages in South Sumatra Province. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and the data used are sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Sumatra Province. The data used include GRDP at constant prices for South Sumatra Province in 2017-2021. The analytical tools used are Static Location Quetiont (SLQ), Dynamic Location Quetiont (DLQ) and Shift-Share. The results of this research can be found in the quarrying and mining sector; agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors; water supply, waste treatment, waste and recycling sectors; the construction sector and the real estate sector are the leading sectors that meet the three analysis criteria above, which show positive numbers that have comparative and competitive advantages.

Abstract

Background: Technological developments are currently widely used by business actors to promote their products, with the convenience desired by buyers, of course, this is a solution for MSME entrepreneurs for business development. The use of endorsements is one alternative that can be tried to increase sales turnover. Objective: This study aims to determine the extent of the role of teachers in implementing inclusive education services at SMAN 6 Bandung. Method: This research was conducted using a survey using the help of a google form on 100 respondents of MSME entrepreneurs who used endorsements as assistance for promoting MSME businesses in Bandar Lampung City. This type of research uses a quantitative type of research using a descriptive format. The data collected in the analysis used quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive methods by utilizing descriptive statistical tools and tables of single frequencies and cross frequencies. Decision-making is seen from the number of percentage results if more than 50% is interpreted as a variable that has an impact on MSMEs. Results: The results of this study obtained the use of promotion using social media with the help of endorsers to promote products owned by MSMEs greatly affect the information aspect, persuasive aspect, repetition aspect, and sales turnover to develop and compete with other MSMEs. Conclusion: This study focuses on the impact of the effect of endorsements on MSME turnover, especially on sales volume and profit. The use of promotion using social media with the help of endorsers to promote products owned by MSMEs has a great impact on information aspects, persuasive aspects, repetition aspects, and sales turnover to develop and compete with other MSMEs.

Abstract

One of the regional developments carried out is development in the agricultural sector. Development in agriculture is expected to be a catalyst in achieving the goal of increasing the regional economy. This study aims to analyze the linkages and multipliers of the agricultural sector to the regional economy in Tanggamus Regency. The method used is input-output analysis which consists of linkage analysis, dispersion impact, and output and income multiplier effect. The results of the analysis conclude that the agricultural sector has a linkage to the manufacturing sector in the future; and the transportation and warehousing sector, then has backward linkages with the real estate sector and the construction sector. The agricultural sector is able to drive production growth in the downstream industrial sector. The output multiplier and income multiplier of the agricultural sector has a lower value compared to other economic sectors.

Abstract

Determining growth centers and agricultural base commodities is essential for optimizing economic development and achieving economic equality in the Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency area. This study aimed to identify sub-districts that could become growth centers, establish agricultural commodities based in each Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency sub-district, and examine interactions between growth centers and surrounding areas. Three methods employed in this research include Scalogram analysis, Centrality Index, Location Quotient, and Dynamic Location Quotient. Based on the Scalogram analysis and Centrality Index results for the 13 Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency sub-districts, four sub-districts were identified as potential growth centers: Tungkal Ilir, Tebing Tinggi, and Merlung. The Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency Government is recommended to establish basic commodity specialization in each sub-district and strengthen inter-regional linkages to accelerate regional economic equity.

Abstract

Dampak pandemi Covid-19 telah dirasakan banyak pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil serta masyarakat menengah ke bawah di Provinsi Lampung, termasuk di Kabupaten Tanggamus. Desa Wonoharjo yang terletak di Kabupaten Tanggamus termasuk dalam kategori berkembang dengan komoditas unggulan hortikultura seperti salak, sayuran, tanaman hias, dan obat-obatan. Komoditas salak merupakan salah satu produk unggulan bagi masyarakat Desa Wonoharjo untuk bertahan hidup. Namun komoditas salak yang dijual murah membuat pendapatan masyarakat tidak tumbuh terlalu banyak, terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya reformulasi dengan memberikan nilai tambah pada komoditas salak dan memasarkannya dengan sistem digital agar harga jual salak lebih baik di tengah kondisi ketidakpastian akibat pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan ini merupakan transfer ilmu dan teknologi dengan pendekatan partisipatif, dimulai dari perumusan masalah dengan mitra, survei potensi daerah, sosialisasi pelatihan, dan praktik digital marketing. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wonoharjo, Kabupaten Tanggamus pada bulan Juli-Oktober 2021 dengan tingkat antusiasme yang cukup tinggi selama kegiatan berlangsung. Beberapa hasil yang sudah didapatkan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah, (1) masyarakat Desa Wonoharjo dapat mengolah potensi komoditas salak menjadi produk yang bernilai tinggi yaitu manisan salak yang bernilai ekonomis; (2) masyarakat mampu mengoptimalkan digital marketing sehingga dapat meningkatkan omzet secara signifikan; dan (3) produk komoditas salak yang diubah menjadi manisan salak dapat bertahan lama sehingga pendapatan masyarakat Desa Wonoharjo meningkat. Selain itu, program pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan omzet pendapatan masyarakat dengan nilai tambah salak juga mengedukasi masyarakat terkait proses usaha yang lebih menguntungkan dengan pendirian BUMDes.The impact of Covid-19 has hit many micro and small businesses and lower-middle-class communities in Lampung Province, especially in Tanggamus Regency. Wonoharjo Village, located in Tanggamus Regency, is in the developing category with superior horticultural commodities such as snake fruit, vegetables, ornamental plants, and medicines. Snake fruit is one of the excellent products for the people of Wonoharjo Village to survive. However, snake fruit commodities sold cheaply make people's income grow less, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, reformulation efforts are needed by providing added value to snake fruit commodities and marketing them with digital systems so that the selling price of snake fruit is better amid uncertain conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out in Wonoharjo Village, Tanggamus Regency, in July-October 2021, with a fairly high level of enthusiasm during the activity. Some of the results that have been obtained from this community service activity are: 1) The people of Wonoharjo Village can process the potential of snake fruit commodities into high-value products; 2) The community can carry out digital marketing to increase turnover significantly; 3) Snake fruit products can survive in conditions so that the income of the people of Wonoharjo Village can increase. In addition, the empowerment program implemented can increase community income turnover with the added value of salak fruit as well as educate the community regarding business processes that are more profitable with the establishment of BUMDes.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Indonesia is an important sector in the national economy, but its role in the formation of GRDP in most regions is starting to decline. This was followed by a decrease in the area of ​​harvested land. The purpose of this study is to see the agricultural sector which acts as the basis sector in each province in Indonesia, and to determine the effect of domestic investment in the agricultural sector, the area of ​​paddy fields, and the agricultural sector's workforce on the GRDP of the agricultural sector. The data in this study were obtained from BPS and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). This study uses panel data analysis with the selected model Fixed Effect Models (FEM) with the Eviews 10 application. This study also uses the Location Quotient (LQ) method to see the role of the base sector. The results of this study indicate that the agricultural sector is the basis sector in the provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Central Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, Maluku and North Maluku. This study also found that the variable PMDN in the agricultural sector had a significant positive effect, the variable paddy field area had a significant negative effect and the agricultural sector labor variable had no significant effect on the GRDP of the agricultural sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

The essence of this study is to determine the effect of tuberculosis rates in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the human development index, the number of poor people, the gross regional domestic product and the air quality index affect the tuberculosis rate in Indonesia (a case study of 6 provinces in Java Island). This type of research used is secondary data quantitative research. The data used in this study is panel data which is a combination of time series and cross section data. This study uses time series data which is annual data for 6 years, namely from 2016 to 2021. The method of analysis in this study uses the panel data regression method, the benefits or advantages of using panel data regression, steps to determine panel models, testing classical assumptions, testing hypotheses and test the coefficient of determination (R2) by processing data using Eviews 10. Based on partial analysis in the Case Study of 6 Provinces in Java Island, it was found that the human development index, gross regional domestic product, and air quality index had a negative and significant effect on tuberculosis rates in Indonesia while the number of poor people has a positive and significant effect on the tuberculosis rate in Indonesia. Based on the simultaneous analysis that all observed variables have a significant effect on tuberculosis rates in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the spatial linkages between provinces on Java Island and analyze spatial interactions between provinces on Java Island. The metods and analytical tools used in this research are the Moran Index and Gravity Index. The variable used to analyze spatial linkages is the ADHK GRDP growth rate, while to analyze spatial interactions is the distance to cities and population. The results of the research show that there is no spatial linkage but empirically there is a spatial linkage, and the highest interaction values are in the City of Serang and the City of Jakarta, while the lowest interaction values are in the City of Serang and the City of Surabaya.

Abstract

Poverty is a complex and multidimensional problem and cannot be seen easily only from an absolute number. The problem of provincial poverty is inseparable from various aspects in each region. In this study, the problem of poverty is studied in the province of Sumatra island. Sumatra Island has 10 provinces. This study aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables, namely the quality of human resources, income inequality and the level of open unemployment on the percentage of poor people in 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra. This study uses a combined Panel Data from data between time series and regional observations, where the time series (time series) used in this research is in the 2017-2021 period, using regional observations or (cross section) covering the area of Aceh, North Sumatra. , South Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, Riau Islands, Bangka Belitung Islands and Lampung. In this study, secondary data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This research uses Panel Data Regression Method. The results showed that the quality of human resources had a negative and significant influence, income inequality and the open unemployment rate had a positive and significant impact on the percentage of poor people in 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra.
