Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 disertai dampak yang cukup signifikan dalam kesehatan mental remaja. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat memiliki tujuan sebagai upaya peningkatan pengetahuan remaja tentang cara-cara pencegahan kecemasan dan depresi pada siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Melalui pendampingan dan pelatihan, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meminimalisir berbagai akibat yang ditimbulkan pandemi terhadap kesehatan mental remaja.

Abstract

The research addresses the issue of understanding the potential influence of acupuncture sessions on dietary choices in obese patients. While acupuncture's effects on various health aspects have been explored, the direct link between acupuncture frequency and dietary patterns remains relatively underexplored, especially within the context of obesity. The primary objective is to determine whether there exists a significant relationship between the frequency of acupuncture sessions and shifts in dietary consumption patterns. Additionally, the study aims to identify any potential moderating factors, such as individual patient characteristics or demographic variables, that might impact this relationship. A quantitative methodology is employed to measure and analyze the aforementioned relationships. Data is collected from a sample of obese patients who undergo routine acupuncture sessions. The variables of interest include the frequency of acupuncture sessions, changes in dietary factors (such as protein, fat, fiber, and sugar intake), and any alterations in physical activity levels. A multiple regression analysis is utilized to assess the strength and significance of the relationship between acupuncture session frequency and dietary pattern changes while controlling for potential confounding factors. results indicate a statistically significant positive correlation between the frequency of acupuncture sessions and the number of attended sessions, suggesting that patients who engage in more frequent sessions tend to attend more of them. However, the influence of other variables like dietary factors and physical activity on session attendance appears limited. These findings suggest that acupuncture session frequency plays a pivotal role in influencing patient participation, potentially overshadowing the impact of other factors within this context.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor yang mendorong dan menarik masyarakat Bawean untuk merantau; dampak positif dan negatif merantau; serta sistem sosial budaya merantau yang ada pada masyarakat Bawean. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa teori, yaitu teori struktural fungsional, konsep kebudayaan dan konsep migrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi dan situs penelitian berada di Kecamantan Sangkapura dan Kecamatan Tambak Kabupaten Gresik. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data skunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif Cresswell. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat dua faktor pendorong yaitu faktor lingkungan dan kondisi ekonomi masyarakat. Selain itu terdapat faktor penarik yang terdiri dari tersedianya pekerjaan yang lebih memadai dan terdapatnya perkampungan Suku Bawean di tempat tujuan. Dampak positif dari kegiatan merantau ini adalah peningkatan ekonomi keluarga dan perpaduan budaya baru, sedangkan dampak negatifnya adalah masih belum terdatanya jumlah perantau, tumbuh kembang anak tidak terkontrol, keharmonisan keluarga yang menurun, dan perubahan gaya hidup. Sistem sosial yang dimiliki sehingga membuat budaya merantau tetap bertahan hingga saat ini adalah karena kemampuan beradaptasi dengan perubahan, kemudian ditunjang dengan tujuan yang kuat yakni membangun ekonomi keluarga. Selain itu, budaya merantau ini tetap bertahan karena sudah terintegrasinya sistem dan terbentuknya perkampungan Boyan di tempat perantauan. Rekomendasi yang dapat peneliti tawarkan yaitu pembuatan sistem yang terintegrasi terkait pencatatan dan pendataan masyarakat Bawean yang merantau serta pengembangan pembangunan pariwisata di Pulau Bawean dengan memperhatikan aspek lokal dan melibatkan peran serta masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the efluence of industrial work practice and learning outcomes on the work readiness of Grade XII students at Private Vocational School Palembang, both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study consisted of Grade XII industrial students at PGRI 2 Vocational School in Palembang and YP Gajah Mada Vocational School in Palembang, with a sample size of 108 students. The data collection techniques used in this study were: 1) questionnaires and 2) documentation. The data analysis technique used parametric statistics with the SPSS program. The results of this study concluded that: 1) There is a positive influence of industrial work practices on the work readiness of grade XII students at private vocational schools in Palembang. 2) There is no positive influence of learning outcomes on the work readiness of grade XII students at private vocational schools in Palembang. 3) There is a positive influence of industrial work practices and learning outcomes together (simultaneously) on the work readiness of grade XII students at private vocational schools in Palembang.

Abstract

Education is an initial container for producing high-quality human resources. Practicum is a learning activity aimed at providing students with opportunities to test and apply theories using laboratory facilities and also outside the laboratory. The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of need of biology education students for practicum modules. In conducting this research, the researcher used the Descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The researcher selected 15 Biology students as the sample for this study. The instrument used for the practicum was interviews, where aspects inquired about the importance of modules in practicum and the conditions of practicum without modules. Meanwhile, the data analysis used in this research was qualitative data analysis, which involved summarizing the results of the interviews that had been described. Modules are highly essential in practicum because without modules, there would be no guidance when conducting a practicum. Modules are comparable to books that provide instructions before conducting practicum and also serve as a source of additional information related to the upcoming practicum.

Abstract

Lipid metabolism is a process where fatty acids that enter the body are digested and then broken down as energi and later stored in the body for energi reserves. The lipids that we obtain as the main source of energi are neutral lipids, namely triglycerides (esters between glycerol and 3 fatty acids). This journal article aims to find out that lipid metabolism has a connection in the Qur'an and hadith. This research uses a qualitative approach through a case study of lipid metabolism from the Qur'anic perspective. The sources of research data are books, the Qur'an, and journals. In addition to these data sources, researchers also seek additional references from other data sources, namely a number of thesis literature, internet sources that are in accordance with the research. Lipid digestion results in the form of fatty acids and glycerol, some are still monoglycerides. As a result of it is water-soluble, glycerol enters the portal circulation (portal vein) of the liver. Other journal articles do not discuss the relationship between metabolism and the Qur'an and Al-Hadith, therefore this article can facilitate the relationship between the two, as stated in QS. Al-A'raf verse 31 and QS. Al-Mu'minunayat 21 which discusses fat content and lipid function.
