Abstract

Program evaluation is a crucial component in efforts to improve educational quality. This article examines four primary evaluation frameworks CIPP (Context–Input–Process–Product), the Stake Model (Antecedents, Transactions, Outcomes), Goal Free Evaluation, and the Formative–Summative Model and illustrates their practical applications in the field. The CIPP model provides a comprehensive evaluation guide from needs analysis through outcome measurement, supporting ongoing decision‑making. The Stake Model emphasizes both descriptive and judgmental activities across initial conditions, instructional processes, and final outcomes, offering a complete picture of program effectiveness. Goal Free Evaluation adopts a fresh perspective by observing all real impacts including unanticipated effects without being bound by formal goal statements, thereby uncovering opportunities for innovative improvements. In contrast, the Formative–Summative Model divides evaluation into formative feedback during the process and summative assessment at the end, enabling timely interventions and comprehensive outcome measurement. By understanding the characteristics and advantages of each model, educators can select or combine the most appropriate frameworks to create adaptive, responsive, and sustainable learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of curriculum transformation on Indonesian school administrators' work habits. Based on research, it is believed that school administrators who are able to comprehend and effectively explain curriculum changes can improve their leadership effectiveness and the school's operational efficiency. Successful curriculum transformation requires school administrators to have a thorough understanding of new curriculum and strong managerial skills to facilitate changes and communicate with all stakeholders in the school. This study indicates that school administrators who practice participative leadership can help teachers adopt innovative teaching strategies and create productive work environments. In addition, effective communication with teachers, students, and other staff members is crucial to ensuring successful curriculum implementation. This gives the impression that in order to achieve curriculum transformation, cooperation between the school principal, the teacher, and other important people is required. Because of this, the study suggests that education should focus more on increasing the capacity of the school principal to deal with constantly changing curriculum.

Abstract

The management of Field Work Practices (Praktik Kerja Lapangan, PKL) is a critical element in fostering effective collaboration between vocational high schools and the Business and Industrial Sectors (DU/DI). This study aims to explore the PKL management strategies at SMK Darussalam Martapura in strengthening collaboration with DU/DI while ensuring curriculum relevance to labor market needs. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study focuses on three key aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation of PKL. The planning stage involves mapping industry needs, signing partnership agreements, and pre-PKL training. The implementation includes student placement in DU/DI, regular monitoring by supervising teachers, and maintaining student daily journals. Evaluation is carried out through feedback from DU/DI, which is used to revise the curriculum and enhance cooperation. The findings indicate that employing adaptive strategies, intensive communication, and leveraging technology in PKL management can address challenges such as limited industrial partners and differing expectations. These strategies have proven effective in enhancing student competencies and strengthening the relationship between SMK and DU/DI. This study recommends adopting similar strategies in other vocational institutions to strengthen the integration between education and industry demands.

Abstract

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 presents significant challenges to educational institutions in Indonesia, including Islamic-based schools like SDITQ Bakkah Martapura, compelling them to enhance their competitiveness by delivering high-quality education. A qualitative study aims to explore implementing Islamic-based education that integrates academic excellence with moral values to address the challenges posed by globalization effectively. Data were collected from 22 informants through interviews, observations, and document analysis to understand the factors influencing the quality of education within this framework. The results indicate that the tahfizhul Qur'an program, an integrated religious curriculum, and a supportive Islamic learning environment significantly contribute to the school's competitive advantage. The tahfizhul Qur'an program enhances students' Arabic language skills and fosters their discipline and character development. Furthermore, a comprehensive religious curriculum deepens students' understanding of Islamic values, while a nurturing school environment supports their character growth. This research recommends innovative strategies and collaboration among the school, parents, and the community to improve the quality of education at SDITQ Bakkah Martapura continuously

Abstract

Corruption is one of the main obstacles in development that harms not only economically, but also erodes the moral values of society. Anti-corruption education at the primary school level has an important role in shaping the character of the younger generation who uphold the values of honesty, integrity and responsibility. This research aims to analyze the implementation of anti-corruption education policies in primary schools through a literature study approach. Policies such as Law No. 19/2019 on KPK, South Kalimantan Governor Regulation No. 069/2020, and Banjarbaru Mayor Regulation No. 10/2020 are the main basis for the integration of anti-corruption education into the curriculum. The results show that strategic measures such as integrating anti-corruption materials in subjects, using interactive teaching methods, and cooperation between teachers and parents are effective in instilling anti-corruption values in students. Creative approaches, such as educational games, inspirational stories, and extracurricular activities, are able to motivate students to understand the adverse effects of corruption and foster ethical commitment. With well-planned and collaborative anti-corruption education, it is hoped that a generation with high integrity, able to fight corruption, and contribute to a just and transparent society will be formed.
