Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the quality of Islamic guidance and counseling services and peer groups on self-awareness in overcoming academic procrastination. This issue is relevant considering that academic procrastination remains a challenge among students, characterized by a tendency to postpone assignments and prioritize less relevant activities. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The population and sample were 36 students of SMAN 1 Dayeuhkolot identified as having academic procrastination behavior. The results of the study indicate that the quality of Islamic guidance and counseling services (X1) and peer support (X2) partially and simultaneously have a significant influence on self-awareness in overcoming academic procrastination (Y). The significance values found for both variables (0.00 and 0.000) are less than 0.05, which confirms that the research hypothesis is accepted. The magnitude of the influence of these two independent variables on the dependent variable is 76.3%. This means that 76.3% of the increase in students' self-awareness can be explained by the quality of Islamic guidance and counseling services and support from the peer support environment. The remainder (23.7%) is influenced by other factors outside the study. The conclusion of this study is that strengthening the quality of Islamic guidance and counseling services and creating a positive peer environment are effective strategies for increasing students' self-awareness and, ultimately, overcoming academic procrastination.

Abstract

Health is a very important asset for every person. Maintaining health is a matter that has always received attention from the vast majority of humanity throughout all times, whether at the individual, community, or even national level. Islam, as a religion that encompasses all aspects of human life, also pays attention to the health of its followers. This is because health is one of the things that will facilitate the smooth performance of worship by a servant of God. In fact, in several acts of worship, a person who is less healthy will receive concessions (rukhṣah) to not perform worship, or to substitute their worship with a way that is lighter for them. The Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad SAW, as the second source of Islamic teachings, contain numerous narratives that serve as guidance for Muslims to maintain their health. This is evidenced by the existence of a special chapter entitled Kitāb Aṭ-Ṭibb (Book of Health/Medicine), which contains matters related to disease, health, and methods of treatment. This research aims to analyze the scientific compatibility and practical relevance of health principles in Islam with the principles of modern public health. The research method uses a systematic literature review approach through searching and analyzing more than articles from national and international research journals in various languages. The author chose this approach because the object of study is hadith texts along with their explanations, which are compared with the latest research related to theory and practice of health in the modern era. The research results show that the principles of Aṭ-Ṭibb An-Nabawi (Prophetic Medicine) have high scientific validity through several controlled trials for various Islamic health practices. The framework based on maqāṣid asy-syarī'ah (objectives of Islamic law) shows perfect alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, with implementation that requires standardization of guidelines and interdisciplinary collaboration. In conclusion, systematic integration between prophetic medicine and evidence-based medicine can optimize health standards and contribute significantly to global health security, particularly in Muslim-majority countries.

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the role of Islamic Sharia, the state and society in maintaining national stability and preserving public interests by combating hoaxes. At the beginning of the discussion, the researcher explains the definition of a hoax, the purpose of its creation and the effects it has on society in general. The researcher then shows how Islamic Shari'ah takes preventive action against the emergence of hoaxes and how Islamic Shari'ah combats hoaxes that have already emerged. The researcher presents the role of the state and society from different perspectives in combating hoaxes. The methodology used in the research is a qualitative approach by conducting library research (literature review) on references related to the research title. The results show that combating hoaxes has a close relationship with maintaining the stability of the country and maintaining the public interest, so it should be a shared responsibility.

Abstract

The urgency of community counseling practice services has increased along with the growing social challenges that directly impact community well-being. Through needs assessment, outreach, mentoring, training, and the strengthening of social networks, counseling programs can help communities identify the issues they face while encouraging active participation in seeking solutions. Therefore, community counseling practice becomes an essential component in creating healthier, more inclusive, and socially responsive environments. This study employs a qualitative approach, with primary data sources derived from library research. The findings indicate that community counseling practice services represent a psychosocial service approach oriented toward empowerment, prevention, and the strengthening of individual and group capacities within a community. Community counseling does not focus solely on resolving personal problems, but also addresses social, environmental, cultural, and structural factors that influence community well-being. Through community counseling practices, communities are supported in building self-reliance, increasing social awareness, strengthening problem-solving skills, and fostering cooperation among community members.

Abstract

Abstract

Indonesia’s sustainable development towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision faces global challenges, primarily the climate crisis and digital ethical dilemmas. This research aims to analyze how Ecotheology and Religious Ethics serve as moral and practical foundations for integrating environmental issues and community welfare into the SDGs agenda (Suryadi, 2021, p. 50). The paper employs a qualitative literature review methodology using normative-theological and sociological approaches, referencing scientific literature, Kemenag policy documents, and case study reports on implementation models within religious educational institutions (Kemenag, 2023, p. 7).The findings indicate that religious educational institutions play a crucial role as dual change agents. First, through the implementation of Ecotheology (the concept of khalifah), these institutions effectively instill conservation awareness and mitigate climate risk (Lestari & Putra, 2022, p. 80). Second, by developing Value-Based Community Economy models (e.g., digital waste banks and agribusiness), they contribute to creating decent employment and value-driven economic growth (Amin, 2025, p. 50; BAZNAS, 2024, p. 15). It is concluded that the internalization of Ecotheological values is key to producing human resources with a holistic development ethic. The paper recommends stronger policy synergy (a Tripartite Model) to position religious institutions as centers for social-economic innovation focused on sustainability.

Abstract

Modern economic development is no longer understood solely as economic growth but as a multidimensional process encompassing improvements in welfare, distributive justice, human development, and sustainability. Islam, as a value-based system, offers a strong normative framework for development, particularly through the principles of maqasid al-shari‘ah, distributive justice, the prohibition of usury (riba), the obligation of zakat, and the reinforcement of ethical economic conduct. This study examines the relationship between religion and modern economic development using a qualitative-comparative approach between Islamic teachings and contemporary development concepts such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Human Development Index (HDI), Good Governance, and Inclusive Growth. The findings indicate that Islam demonstrates structural compatibility with modern development paradigms, especially in poverty alleviation, social justice, economic governance, and social capital enhancement. Islam functions not only as a moral guide but also provides concrete economic instruments such as zakat, productive waqf, Islamic finance, Islamic social finance, and halal digital economic models. Thus, religion plays a strategic role in building a more inclusive, ethical, and sustainable economic order.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relevance of hadith in addressing the problems faced by students at the Cipansor Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya Regency, focusing on three main aspects: education, social, and character development. The background of this study is based on the gap between the idealism of pesantren education and the reality faced by santri, such as low motivation to learn, difficulties in social adaptation, and weak internalization of Islamic character values. The hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is seen as a source of Islamic teachings that has the potential to provide solutions and be applied in overcoming these problems. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The results of this study are expected to identify the typology of santri problems, analyze the concepts and methodology of relevant hadith application, evaluate the implementation models used by ustadz and kyai, and formulate an ideal model for hadith implementation in santri guidance. This research not only contributes theoretically to the study of applied hadith in Islamic education but also offers practical solutions for the development of a contextual pesantren education system rooted in authentic Islamic sources.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country with a high level of religiosity. Nearly every aspect of social life is imbued with religious practices. However, a paradox arises when corruption rates remain high and national development often stalls. This paper examines the relationship between religion, corruption, and development. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, it was found that high levels of religiosity do not automatically equate to low levels of corruption. This is due to the weak internalization of religious values in social life, the dominance of ritualistic understanding of religion, and the limited role of religious leaders in overseeing development. Therefore, a reorientation of religious understanding toward a more ethical, transformative, and practical one is urgently needed to realize just and integrated development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Islamic guidance strategies based on life skills in fostering self-efficacy and independence among students at the Yatim Al-Kasyaf Islamic Boarding School. The research scope focuses on three main aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation of life skill–based Islamic guidance programs designed for orphaned and underprivileged students. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed to capture an in-depth understanding of the guidance strategies applied in the pesantren context. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques The findings indicate that the planning of Islamic guidance is systematically structured through the formulation of vision and mission, identification of students’ needs, and the establishment of long-term goals oriented toward strengthening self-efficacy and independence. The implementation is carried out through various life skill activities, including agriculture, livestock farming, entrepreneurship, food and chemical production, waste management, culinary arts, and digital media. These activities are supported by guidance methods such as lectures, learning by doing, discussions, habituation, and mentoring, with counselors serving as moral role models for students. Evaluation is conducted continuously through observation and individual approaches, including corrective actions for students with slower developmental progress. Overall, the study concludes that life skill–based Islamic guidance contributes significantly to the gradual enhancement of students’ self-efficacy and independence, reflected in improved self-confidence, perseverance, responsibility, decision-making ability, and emotional regulation across emotional, behavioral, and cognitive dimensions.
