Abstract

Abstrak Struktur kristal oktahedron dan kubus menarik untuk dikaiji ulang (review) agar dapat membekali pemahaman mahasiswa dalam menganalisis perbandingan jari-jari ionik atom kecil dengan jari-jari ionik atom besar (r/R) sebagai penyusun molekul dalam bahan keramik maupun kajian difraksi sinar-X dalam mata kuliah fisika modern. Kajian perbandingan (r/R) pada struktur kristal oktahedron (berbilangan koordinasi 6) diperoleh hasil perbandingan (r/R) dalam selang 0,414 – 0,732, sedangkan kubus (bilangan koordinasi 8) diperoleh hasil perbandingan (r/R) dalam selang 0,732 - 1. Contoh senyawa berstruktur oktahedron adalah NaCl, karena jari-jari ionik Na+ sebesar 0,102 nm dan jari-jari ionik Clsebesar 0,181 nm, sedangkan contoh senyawa berstruktur kubus adalah CsCl, karena jari-jari ionik Cs+ sebesar 0,170 nm. Kata kunci: Jari-jari ionik, kubus, oktahedron, perbandingan r/R, struktur kristal. Abstract Octahedral and cubic crystal structure was interesting to be reviewed in order to provide an understanding to the students for analyzing the ionic radius ratio of small and large atoms (r/R) as molecul composer in ceramic materials and x-ray diffraction in modern physics chapter. Study of ratio on octahedron crystal structure (coordination number of 6) theorem resulted r/R ratio in range 0.414 0.732, while cubic structures (coordination number of 8) theorem resulted r/R ratio in range 0.732 - 1. For example octahedron structure is NaCl, because Na+ radii is 0.102 nm and Clradii is 0.181 nm, while for example cubic is CsCl, because Cs+ radii is 0.170 nm. Abstract

Has successfully analyzed the lattice parameter, error, and energy band gap of Cadmium Sulfide (CdS) material. CdS is a semiconductor material. In this study, the CdS used is a material with a cubic crystal structure using database from the International Center for Diffraction Data (ICDD), then the data is calculated using the Cramer-Cohen method. From these data the resulting lattice parameter of a = b = c = 5.823791777 Å with an average error of 0.00034%. The band gap energy calculation of CdS material is 2.477 eV.

Abstract

The study have successfully simulated 40 units data of temperature sensor during heating process and cooling process. Simulated data in temperature sensor has interval time 3 to 18 seconds for 5 iterations that are combined with other 7 data temperature sensor until get 40 data iterations. The data which has been simulated and then plotted into a graph with the x-axis is time and y-axis is average heating process or cooling process. The graph formmed cupped-down with quadratic function for heating process and cupped-up for cooling process.

Abstract

Cadmium telluride (CdTe) semiconductor materials will be used to analyze the energy gap, lattice parameters, and error value of these cubical structured crystal materials. The data that we used to be analyzed is using data from the International Center for Diffraction Data (ICDD) that used the X-ray Diffraction (XRD) method. This research has been successfully analyzing energy gap, lattice parameters, and the error value of Cadmium telluride (CdTe) materials which have a cube-shaped crystal structure. The result of the gap energy analysis of Cadmium telluride (CdTe) with a cubical structure yields a value of 1.43 eV. The lattice parameters of Cadmium telluride (CdTe) with a cubical structure analyzed by the Cramer-Cohen method yields a value of a = b = c = 9.922 Å. The error value of Cadmium telluride (CdTe) with a cubical stcucture yields a value of 6.75 x 10-4 %.

Abstract

Rice husk has high silica (SiO2) content and can be used as the primary material for making nano-silica. One of the methods for synthesizing nano-silica was the hydrothermal method. The objective of this study was to synthesize nano-silica from rice husks by observing the effect of temperature in the hydrothermal process on the structure, electrical and particle properties of nano-silica. The hydrothermal process temperature was 150, 200, and 250 °C for 4 hours. The results showed that all nano-silicas were in the amorphous phase. The particle size was in the range of 0.16-13.49 nm with more uniform size distribution on nano-silicas of 200 °C and 250 °C than nano-silica at 150 °C. These three nano-silicas were included in the semiconductor category by increasing temperature and frequency. In addition, these treatment variations resulted 200 °C for 4 hours and pressure of 2 atm as the optimum treatment for manufacturing nano-silica of rice husk ash. This nano-silica could be used as semiconductor material for electronic industry.

Abstract

Telah berhasil dibuat film tipis Ba0.55Sr0.45TiO3 di atas substrat Corning Glass 7059 dengan metode Chemical Solution Deposition (CSD) berbantuan spin coating berkecepatan putar 3000 rpm selama 30 detik dalam kelarutan 1 M. Film tipis di annealing pada suhu 550 oC, 575 oC, selama 22 jam. Sifat optik dilakukan dengan alat Ocean Optic USB 4000 pada rentang gelombang cahaya tampak (350-790 nm) diperoleh energi bandgap sebesar 1.888 eV dan 1.712 eV.

Abstract

Has succeeded in making switch automatic based light dependent resistor ( LDR)in mikrokontroler arduino uno .Switch this tested in two conditions yatu in laboraatrium and in roomy .On condition laboratory , voltage enter of 5.00 volts managed to turn switch , where switch burns in the state of life ( ON ) producing a voltage of 3.74 volts and obstacles of 230 -260 ohm , while switch die ( OFF ) producing a voltage of 4.78 volts and obstacles switch of 44 - 45 ohm , with strong lighting in laboratoium at 15 lux is the verge of a function of switch in the laboratory .On condition in roomy , strong lighting the function switch of 70 lux with obstacles switch equal to 100 ohm .The difference the function obstacles switch this caused by the strong illumination that produced by a lamp in the laboratory compared with strong illumination that produced by the eye day . Abstract

We has been successfully creating a laboratory security system prototype based on Arduino Mega. This device assisted with PIR sensor (passive infrared) and RFID (Radio Frequency Identifier). In experiments carried out study the sensitivity of the PIR sensor at a distance of 0 meters, 0.5 meters, 1 meters, 1.5 meters, 2 meters, 2.5 meters, 3 meters, 3.5 meters and 4 meters then at an angle of 00, 300, 450, and 600 with the source of motion is the human’s body movement. In this study data showed that at a distance of 2 .5 meters at an angle of 60 degrees PIR was not able to catch the source of human movement. At a distance of 2.5 meters below and 60 degrees could not catch the source of human movement. Otherwise at a distance more than 2.5 meters human movement can not be captured by the PIR sensor. At the RFID trial data obtained that the card can be read by an RFID reader within a maximum of 3 cm, with no barrier between the RFID reader and the card. The data condition also occurs when a thick paper is placed between the card and RFID reader as a barrier. While at the moment given the barrier is made from plastic the card can be read at a distance of 1 cm maximum. Abstract

We has been successfuly to create a model fire detection based arduino uno with the output SMS Gateway. This tool assisted using two sensors are MQ-2 sensor and Fire sensors infrared. In this experiment conducted research on flame sensor infrared sensitivity by using tool such as Lux Meter to measure light intensity at the source of the fire. This research using distance to determine the sensitivity Lux Meter and the fire sensor. This distance used starting from 10 cm up to 110 cm with a 10 cm difference and the fire source used is 2 pieces of wax. In the first experiment using Lux Meter, the result obtained are at a distance of 10 cm the amount of light intensity of 132 lux but if the distance is farther the magnitude of the intensity of light getting down, llike a distance of 100 cm and 110 cm then the magnitude just 0 lux. In the second experiment using Flame sensor, the result obtained are at an angle of 00 with a distance 10 cm up to 90 cm this sensor can detect the fire, but at a distance 100 cm and 110 cm the sensor can’t detect the the fire. While at an angle of 300 to 600 sensors can only detect at a distance 10 cm. Keywords: arduino uno, flame sensor, lux meter, sensor mq-2, sms gateway.

Abstract

Diabetes caused 1.5 million deaths in 2012. Higher-than-optimum blood glucose, as the precursor of diabetes, caused an additional 2.2 million deaths. Blood glucose level monitoring is important to mitigate the problem. This inspiring Non Invasive Biomarking Working Group runs the research to measure blood glucose level in non invasive manners, which works using spectrophotometry based methods, and the proper inference engine is needed to recognize the tools spectral responses. This research objective is to compare performance of Multi Formulated Regression Methods (MFR) and Back Propagation Artificial Neural Network (BPANN). This is a comparative experimental study. We let both inference engines to learn same training data and measure its Rooted Means of Squared Error (RMSE). Research done in Material Physics Laboratory, Department of Physics, Bogor Agricultural University, in January 2017. BPANN achieve 6.1372 mg / dl RMSE, as opposed to MFR at 6.0668 mg / dl. The MFR can outperform BPANN in learning accuracy and execution speed, at the expense of far longer training time. We recommend usage of MFR over BPANN for blood glucose level spectral data.
