Abstract

This study aims to describe parents' understanding of the concept of mindful parenting in parenting, program implementation, its impact on interactions with children, to obstacles and supporting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative method with a single case study type. The research participants consisted of 3 parents, 3 speech delay students, the principal and teachers. Data collection by observation, interviews, and document studies. After participating in the mindful parenting program, parents recognized that full presence, patience, and emotional regulation are essential in supporting children's communication development. The parents’ level of understanding of the program reached an average score of 80%, categorized as “Good”, obtained through the analysis of observation results using a 1-5 rating scale instrument. The program was implemented through: (a) parenting seminars, (b) haflah akhirussanah, (c) psychological tests, (d) home visits, and (e) additional study hours after school for students with speech delay. The findings indicate that the mindful parenting program has a positive impact on parental involvement and the development of communication in children with speech delay. The implication is that early childhood teachers and family counselors are encouraged to apply mindfulness-based interventions to strengthen collaboration with parents in supporting children’s language development.

Abstract

This study discusses the role, objectives, and components of Guidance and Counseling (BK) services in elementary schools. BK functions to help students develop their potential, character, and social and academic abilities. The service objectives include addressing personal, social, academic, and career planning issues in a targeted manner. This study uses a qualitative literature review approach. Data sources were obtained from scientific journals, books, and official documents accessed through Google Scholar, Garuda, and DOAJ. Data were collected using a systematic literature search and snowballing techniques, then analyzed using content analysis to identify key themes related to the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services. Based on the literature analysis, Guidance and Counseling services in elementary schools are implemented through four main components: basic services, responsive services, individual planning, and system support. These four components support each other to create holistic student development. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between teachers, principals, and parents to build a conducive learning environment and support the successful implementation of BK.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of representation of the character of Mother in this era through the novel. The object of this research is the character of Mother, focusing the analysis on the role, function, forms of representation, and its utilization in learning. This analysis uses Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory, namely representamen, object, and interpretant. This research method uses descriptive qualitative and data analysis techniques in the form of reading and writing. Meanwhile, the credibility and dependability techniques use quotations of words, phrases, or sentences in the novel "Bila Esok Ibu Tiada" by Nuy Nagiga. The results of the research conclude that the novel "Bila Esok Ibu Tiada" by Nuy Nagiga can show the functions, roles, and findings of representamen, object, and interpretant. Thus, Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory analysis can be used to analyze popular novels and represent the character of Mother. The results of the utilization of this research can be used as teaching materials, modules, or learning media in the Indonesian Language and Literature Skills course or the Indonesian Language II. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk representasi tokoh Ibu pada zaman ini melalui novel. Objek kajian penelitian ini adalah tokoh Ibu dengan memfokuskan analisis pada peran, fungsi, bentuk-bentuk representasi, dan pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran. Analisis ini menggunakan teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce yaitu representamen, objek, dan interpretan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik analisis data berupa baca tulis. Sedangkan teknik kredibilitas dan dependabilitas menggunakan kutipan-kutipan kata, frasa, atau kalimat di dalam novel Bila Esok Ibu Tiada karya Nuy Nagiga. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa novel Bila Esok Ibu Tiada karya Nuy Nagiga dapat menunjukkan fungsi, peran, dan temuan-temuan representamen, objek, dan interpretan. Dengan demikian, analisis teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis novel populer dan merepresentasikan tokoh Ibu. Hasil pemanfaatan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar, modul, atau media pembelajaran dalam mata kuliah Keterampilan Berbahasa dan Bersastra Indonesia atau mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia II.

Abstract

The KIPAS Counseling Model (Intensive, Progressive, Adaptive, and Structural Counseling) was developed in response to the growing demand for counseling services in Indonesia that are contextual, religiously rooted, and culturally relevant. This model integrates Islamic values, local wisdom, and modern psychological principles into a holistic and dynamic counseling framework. This study uses a literature review method to explore the background, rationale, and philosophical-scientific foundations underlying the KIPAS model. The approach not only addresses psychological issues but also aims to shape character, strengthen self-identity, and foster spiritual awareness. From the perspective of philosophy of science and human nature, this model highlights the importance of glocalization and postmodern approaches in advancing guidance and counseling knowledge. Therefore, the KIPAS model provides a comprehensive, ethical, and culturally responsive solution for counseling practices in Indonesia.
