Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Implementation of Local Wisdom Cultural Values ​​of Bugis-Makassar in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal III Karunrung, Makassar City. The purpose of this study is to see the application of local wisdom culture of Bugis-Makassar in developing aspects of moral values ​​in children aged 5-6 years. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, with a descriptive research type. The data sources in this study were the Principal, Teachers, and Children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques were in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are effective changes in the moral value aspects of children aged 5-6 years through the implementation of local cultural values ​​of Bugis-Makassar such as sipakatatau (mutual respect), sipakalebbi (mutual appreciation), sipakainge' (mutual reminder), lempu'/lambusu' (honesty), reso/akkareso (trying or being responsible), and assamaturu'/situlung-tulung (helping each other or mutual cooperation) at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal III Karunrung Kindergarten, Makassar City. A total of 11 children (73%) have developed Very Well, 3 children (20%) have developed according to expectations, and 1 child (7%) has started to develop. These cultural values ​​are implemented informally through habituation methods, role model methods, and character strengthening methods through social interaction.

Abstract

Early creativity is important to stimulate because it contributes to various aspects of development, including cognitive skills, adaptability, self-expression, social skills, motor skills and children's imagination. The study in the research intends to review the effectiveness of the iron blanket technique in the application of ecoprinting using natural materials as media on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. The posttest only nonequivalent control group design was used in this type of quantitative research with data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations. The sample amounted to 28 early childhood students. Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis are the data analysis techniques chosen. The conclusion of this study based on the data shows that ecoprint with iron blanket technique can improve children's creativity, but the ecopounding or steam technique is more effective, this result is supported by the data Tℎ

Abstract

Anak-anak PAUD Kartini belum mencapai tingkat pengenalan angka yang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif terhadap kemampuan pengenalan bilangan anak kelompok B Paud Kartini. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk menentukan sampel penelitian. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 anak yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen sejumlah 10 anak dan kelompok kontrol sejumlah 10 anak. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik non parametrik dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pengenalan bilangan anak yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif berpasangan pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pengenalan bilangan anak yang dihitung dari hasil analisis butir soal sebesar 21,60% pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan 12,00% pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa jika nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match memiliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadap anak.

Abstract

Kebiasaan makan sehat usia dini dipengaruhi ketersediaan pangan dan pengalaman emosional anak saat berinteraksi dengan makanan. Guru PAUD menghadapi tantangan anak enggan mencoba menu sehat, terdistraksi jajanan, serta terbatasnya perangkat ajar yang mengaitkan pembiasaan makan dengan pembelajaran bermain. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat kompetensi guru dan membangun perilaku “mau mencoba” melalui strategi Joyful Eating yang menempatkan pangan lokal, seperti kelor, ubi ungu, dan ikan, sebagai media tematik untuk stimulasi sensori, bahasa, dan sosial-emosional. Kegiatan berlangsung delapan bulan bersama IGTK, melibatkan 10 PAUD dengan dua guru inti per sekolah (n=20). Metode meliputi asesmen praktik PMT dan kebutuhan pembelajaran; perancangan Modul Joyful Eating 4-6 sesi beserta cerita tematik, kartu emosi, lembar observasi, dan panduan orang tua; pelatihan dan microteaching; implementasi kelas dengan pendampingan; serta evaluasi pre-post kompetensi guru, keterlaksanaan sesi, perubahan perilaku anak melalui skala emotikon, dan dokumentasi praktik baik. Produk berbahan kelor, ubi ungu, dan ikan digunakan sebagai alat peraga eksplorasi indra dan kreasi bentuk menarik, tanpa menekankan uji komposisi gizi. Luaran mencakup artikel terakreditasi, buku/modul, HKI/ISBN, video praktik baik, berita media massa, dan bahan diseminasi forum IGTK. Program diharapkan memperkuat budaya makan positif, mengurangi pemaksaan makan, serta mendorong kolaborasi rumah-sekolah melalui tugas, refleksi orang tua, dan umpan balik

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding of kindergarten teachers at TK Kemala Bhayangkari, Gowa Regency, regarding deep learning approaches based on cultural values. The method used was a counseling and training approach through participatory action research (PAR) involving 10 kindergarten teachers as participants. Data were collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire instruments. The activity was carried out on January 26, 2026, with a focus on integrating local cultural values into learning activities for early childhood. The results showed a significant increase in teachers’ understanding and ability to design culturally relevant deep learning activities. It is concluded that the counseling program effectively improved teachers’ competence in implementing culturally grounded deep learning in the early childhood context.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) during the golden age requires optimal stimulation through Educational Game Tools (Alat Permainan Edukatif or APE). However, PAUD teachers in Bontomarannu District still face challenges such as low digital literacy and a dependence on static, conventional APE. This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of 30 PAUD teachers through training on Information Technology (IT)-based APE innovation to create more interactive learning. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with hands-on training and project-based learning approaches conducted over two days. The results showed a significant increase in the teachers' digital competence, where the average pre-test score of 46.2 increased to 81.6 in the post-test. Furthermore, participants successfully created various innovative IT-based APE products, such as digital educational cards and digital storybooks integrating local wisdom, with an average product quality score of 88.3, categorized as "Excellent". This program proved effective in boosting teachers' confidence to innovate and utilize digital platforms such as Canva, Wordwall, and Kahoot! to create more meaningful learning experiences for early childhood.

Abstract

Guru PAUD memiliki peran penting dalam membangun dasar kemampuan literasi dan numerasi anak, namun masih banyak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran yang inovatif, terutama kecerdasan artifisial. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam memahami, menggunakan, dan mengintegrasikan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di TK Pembina Kecamatan Majauleng pada bulan Agustus 2025 dengan melibatkan 20 guru PAUD. Metode kegiatan meliputi tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tiga indikator utama, yaitu pengetahuan AI dasar, kemampuan penggunaan aplikasi edukatif, dan rasa percaya diri guru dalam menggunakan teknologi. Peningkatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman teoritis, keterampilan praktis, dan sikap positif guru terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi nyata terhadap penguatan kapasitas guru PAUD menuju pembelajaran yang kreatif, adaptif, dan berbasis teknologi cerdas.

Abstract

The motivational mechanisms through which Augmented Reality (AR) media and teacher teaching skills jointly influence early childhood learning outcomes remain empirically underspecified, particularly within the PAUD Indonesian context where contextually grounded evidence is scarce. This study examines the direct and indirect effects of AR media and teacher teaching skills on learning outcomes, with motivation specified as a formal mediating construct. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed with 205 certified PAUD teachers drawn from various regions in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, recruited through purposive sampling. Data were analysed using PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4.0, with significance assessed via bootstrapping across 5,000 subsamples. The measurement model demonstrated acceptable reliability (Cronbach's α: 0.815–0.836), convergent validity (AVE: 0.576–0.604), and discriminant validity confirmed through HTMT ratios ranging from 0.723 to 0.822, each below the 0.90 threshold. AR media was significantly associated with both motivation (β = 0.438, p < 0.001) and learning outcomes (β = 0.329, p = 0.001). Teacher teaching skills significantly predicted motivation (β = 0.483, p < 0.001) and learning outcomes (β = 0.440, p < 0.001). Motivation was the strongest direct predictor of learning outcomes (β = 0.539, p < 0.001), partially mediating both the AR learning outcomes and teacher skills–learning outcomes relationships. These findings suggest that instructional quality whether technological or human must first activate motivational engagement to produce measurable learning outcomes. PAUD institutions are encouraged to develop teacher competency and AR infrastructure concurrently, with motivational quality as a key process indicator of instructional effectiveness.
