Abstract

Mathematics 2.0 is a combination of mathematics and technology, which is essential due to the significant role mathematics plays in advancing technology, science, and education. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Mathematics 2.0 learning through digital educational games in stimulating early childhood mathematical abilities. A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing qualitative methods to illustrate the importance of mathematics learning through educational games for young children, and quantitative methods to measure the impact of such games on stimulating early mathematical skills. The sample consisted of 30 early childhood students, with data collected through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that educational games such as Lumio and ScratchJr have a significant effect in stimulating mathematical abilities in early childhood.

Abstract

Early childhood mental health is a key foundation in character building and successful ongoing emotional-social development. Mentally healthy children tend to be able to recognize and manage their emotions, establish positive social relationships, and adapt effectively to the surrounding environment. Teachers and parents, as the closest figure, have a central role in maintaining and detecting children's mental conditions early on. However, limited understanding and strong stigma towards children's mental health issues often become obstacles in providing the right response. This service activity aims to empower teachers and parents through psychoeducation to become more sensitive, responsive, and skilled in creating a supportive environment for children's mental health. The activity was carried out at Buah Hati Balang Punia Kindergarten, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, in May 2025, with 37 participants consisting of 1 principal, 6 teachers, and 30 parents. The implementation method included four stages: socialization and counseling, case study discussion, simulation and reflection, and evaluation through the implementation of pre-test and post-test. Results showed a significant increase in understanding, with an average pre-test score of 9.38 and post-test of 16.43. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of p < 0.05. Psychoeducation proved to be an effective intervention in increasing the knowledge of teachers and parents as important partners in maintaining early childhood mental health

Abstract

Children's gross motor skills are one of the aspects that need to be developed to help early childhood in active play. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rhythmic gymnastics on the gross motor skills of early childhood. The research used a quantitative approach of One Group Pretest Postes research type. The research subjects were 14 children. The results showed that children's social-emotional abilities increased before and after being treated, namely Zhitung of -3,314 and a sig. value of 0.001 indicating that the sig value. 0.001 <0.05 so that there is a difference in the motor skills of children who are treated before and after the activity.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh problem based learning melalui kegiatan bermain puzzle dengan media kertas terhadap kemampuan geometri pada Anak Usia Dini TK Maruzan Makassar. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design dan desain penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah peserta didik di TK Maruzan Makassar yang berusia 5-6 tahun. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini. 12 anak menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini, 6 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 6 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik non parametrik. Hasil analisis data diperoleh Asym (2-tailed) = 0,024 < 0,05 HI diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya kemampuan geometri anak yang diberi perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui kegiatan bermain puzzle pada kelompok eksperimen memiliki perkembangan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode problem based learning melalui kegiatan bermain puzzle berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan geometri anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Maruzan Makassar.

Abstract

Seminar parenting pola asuh Montessori memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam kepada orang tua dan guru tentang pentingnya pendekatan pengasuhan yang mendukung kemandirian dan perkembangan anak. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan dan tantangan yang dihadapi orang tua dan guru dalam mendampingi anak. Jumlah peserta pada kegiatan seminar ini adalah 25 orang yang terdiri dari guru dan orangtua. Kegiatan ini dirancang melalui tiga tahapan utama: wawancara untuk menggali kebutuhan peserta, penyampaian materi secara interaktif, dan evaluasi melalui kuesioner. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar Montessori, seperti kebebasan dalam batas, penghargaan terhadap individualitas anak, dan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung eksplorasi aktif serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengasuhan anak usia dini melalui pendekatan Montessori. Abstract

The development of creativity in children is often neglected due to monotonous learning. Therefore, the application of varied learning models in early childhood education such as project-based learning, is very important to support the development of creative and innovative thinking skills. This pseudo-experimental study was conducted to review how the application of project-based learning through recycling activities affects the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at TK Khalifah Makassar 3. The sample in this study was 30 children with 15 children as the experimental group and 15 children as the control group. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and nonparametric statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The observation results showed that children's creativity in the experimental group that applied project-based learning through recycling activities was higher than the control group. This increase is supported by the average pre-test score of the experimental group of 13.67 which increased to 23.67 in the post-test. Data analysis of significance with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05 indicates that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is a significant difference in children's creativity in the experimental group before and after the project-based learning treatment through recycling activities, which indicates an increase in creativity. Therefore, the findings of this study conclude that the application of project-based learning through recycling activities has a positive effect on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Serial Image berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap kemampuan bercerita anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Khalifah Makassar 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen, serta desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Variabel bebas adalah Media Serial Image berbasis Augmented Reality, dan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan bercerita anak. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 30 anak, dengan teknik sampel jenuh, sehingga seluruh anak dijadikan sampel, yaitu 15 anak pada kelompok eksperimen dan 15 anak pada kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur pengumpulan data meliputi perencanaan, pretest, treatment, post-test, dan analisis hasil. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil data yang diperoleh mengidikasikan adanya peningkatan dalam skor pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 11,00 sedangan setelah diberi perlakuan nilainya sebesar 19,33. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.001<0.05, sehigga hipotesis alternatif (H1) dapat diterima, sedangkan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa penggunaaan media Serial Image berbasis Augmented Reality berkontribusi pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Khalifah Makassar 3 dalam peningkatan kemampuan bercerita.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran salt tray terhadap kemampuan pra menulis anak usia 4-5 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Pertiwi Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen kuasi dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 38 anak, dengan sampel sebanyak 20 anak yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan tes, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pemberian perlakuan berupa penggunaan media salt tray, seluruh peserta mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pra menulis. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan 10 ranks positif dan jumlah ranks sebesar 55,00, yang menunjukkan perbaikan hasil belajar yang konsisten. Dalam penelitian ini, media pembelajaran salt tray dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pertiwi Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan media scrabble terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf anak usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Manggarupi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Ekperimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 44 anak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 22 anak, 11 anak kelompok ekperimen, 11 anak kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik non parametrik dengan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal huruf anak yang diberi perlakuan permainan media scrabble pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis data diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata pada kelompok eksperimen 11,91, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol 8,91. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,003 < 0,5 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan media scrabble memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Manggarupi.

Abstract

Early childhood education is provided as guidance and stimulation, so that children grow and develop according to their stages. One of the most important things in child development is language development. Speech delay is a condition where a child does not develop the ability to speak according to his age, which generally occurs in children. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the strategies implemented by teachers in dealing with speech delayed children at RA Gerhana Alauddin. This research uses a qualitative approach and a case study type of research. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources for this research are school principals, teachers and students who experience speech delays. Checking the validity of the data was carried out by triangulating techniques and sources. The data analysis techniques for this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research at RA Gerhana Alauddin, teachers implemented several strategies in dealing with speech delayed children, namely (1) correcting pronunciation errors, (2) encouraging children to tell stories, (3) providing visual aids such as coloring books, and (4) reading fairy tales. With this strategy children show improvement in spelling words, express their desires verbally, and respond without using non-verbal language.
