Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan guru MGMP IPA Kabupaten Maros dalam mengakses pelatihan digital yang berkelanjutan serta rendahnya kemampuan dalam mengembangkan media interaktif. Pelatihan yang tersedia selama ini cenderung bersifat singkat sehingga tidak mampu mendampingi guru dalam menghasilkan produk micromodul yang berkualitas. Untuk menjawab masalah tersebut, dikembangkan website Jelajahsains.com sebagai media pembelajaran dan pusat informasi interaktif yang menyediakan materi pelatihan, tutorial, forum diskusi, serta contoh micromodul. Keunggulan utama platform ini adalah integrasi LMS Odoo yang memungkinkan pembelajaran mandiri, kolaborasi, dan publikasi karya guru dalam satu ekosistem digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan R&D dengan model ADDIE. Validasi ahli media memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,44 (88,82%) dan ahli materi 4,50 (90%), keduanya dalam kategori sangat layak. Uji coba terbatas dengan 15 guru menunjukkan respons sangat positif (skor 4,55 atau 91,6%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Jelajahsains.com tidak hanya layak digunakan, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru serta mendukung proses pelatihan micromodul secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media audio visual pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup, (2) Tinggi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah penerapan media audio visual, (3) Penerapan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tersebut signifikan secara statistik. Penelitian ini merupakan pra-eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi peserta didik kelas VII SMP Kristen Kandora adalah 38 peserta didik, sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga terpilih 1 kelas sebanyak 22 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian adalah pretest dan posttest berupa berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 nomor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: penerapan media audio visual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Sebelum penerapan, hasil belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori rendah dengan skor rata-rata 9,95, sedangkan setelah penggunaan media audio visual meningkat menjadi kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata 21,36. Peningkatan tersebut diperkuat dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,75 yang menunjukkan kategori tinggi, menandakan bahwa media ini mampu memperbaiki pemahaman konsep peserta didik secara efektif.

Abstract

Perbedaan individu peserta didik membutuhkan perlakuan yang berbeda sesuai kebutuhan dan kemampuan awal peserta didik. Namun proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan belum pernah dilatihkannya keterampilan proses sains menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan inovasi pembelajaran penting dalam meciptakan proses pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik dan memperoleh perlakuan sesuai kemampuan awalnya. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan model Differentiated Science Inquiry (DSI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Bajeng Barat. Pengambilan sampel melalui teknik random sampling yaitu kelas VIII.A sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar berupa tes pilihan ganda masing-masing sebanyak 20 soal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rata-rata N-gain keterampilan proses sains sebesar 0,50 dan hasil belajar sebesar 0,58 setelah penerapan model DSI berada pada kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan skor rata-rata yang signifikan keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Bajeng Barat sebelum dan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Differentiated Science Inquiry (DSI).

Abstract

Ensuring laboratory security is a critical consideration within campus environments to effectively prevent theft and suspicious activities. Traditional CCTV systems predominantly rely on manual monitoring, resulting in delayed responses to incidents. This research seeks to develop and implement an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based laboratory security system, integrating three primary models: YOLOv5 for human object detection, Face Recognition for individual identification, and Media Pipe Pose for real-time analysis of suspicious movements. The system is designed as a Flask-based monitoring website, which displays activity logs, detected individual identities, and automated notifications based on image processing results on a Raspberry Pi connected to CCTV cameras. The research methodology employs an applied experimental approach, encompassing stages such as system design, face dataset collection, data encoding utilizing the Face Recognition Library, and performance evaluation under two lighting conditions (bright and dark) and three distance variations. The test results indicate that the Face Recognition method operates optimally at a distance of 2 meters in bright lighting conditions, achieving an accuracy of up to 92%. However, its performance declines at distances exceeding 3 meters and under low-light conditions. Conversely, MediaPipe Pose exhibits high stability, with an average accuracy of 94% in bright conditions and 89% in dark conditions, and is capable of transmitting real-time notifications for activities such as lifting objects or placing hands into pockets. The AI-based laboratory security system developed has demonstrated effectiveness, adaptability, and responsiveness in the automatic detection of identities and suspicious activities. The integration of YOLO v5, Face Recognition, and MediaPipe Pose models offers an intelligent and efficient security solution that facilitates the implementation of the Smart Campus concept within educational environments.

Abstract

This activity aims to optimize practicum-based science learning through the utilization of Science Kits (KIT IPA) at State Junior High School 8 Makassar. The problem faced by science teachers at the school was their limited experience in using Science Kits optimally, particularly the Optics Kit and the Electricity and Magnetism Kit, resulting in less effective practicum implementation. The training was conducted through a workshop approach consisting of kit usage demonstrations, hands-on practice, and assistance in developing experiment-based student worksheets (LKPD). The results of the activity showed an improvement in teachers’ understanding of the functions and procedures for using Science Kits, as well as an increase in science teachers’ ability to design practicum activities aligned with learning outcomes. In addition, participants applied the simple practicum modules developed during the training to be implemented in classroom learning. This activity contributed to improving the quality of science learning at State Junior High School 8 Makassar and strengthening teachers’ competencies in conducting active, contextual, and inquiry-based learning.
