Abstract

This service activity is to improve the ability of partners and be able to develop and add expertise to the community, develop community knowledge about the utilization of palmyra waste so that it has use value for the environment, be able to increase income and reduce fertilizer purchases for agriculture and to develop an attitude of cooperation with others. Utilization of Palmyra waste into liquid organic fertilizer to reduce environmental pollution. The long-term benefits of using liquid fertilizer can improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. Liquid fertilizer is easy to make and the technology is simple. Lontar (Borassus flabellifer) is one of the typical plants in Jeneponto Regency which has many benefits, one of which is that it can be used as organic fertilizer. This service was carried out on farmer groups in Punagaya village, Bangkala sub-district, Jeneponto district, South Sulawesi, totaling 17 people. The results of this training activity showed that all training participants were very enthusiastic and eager to pay attention and listen to the material about the use of palm waste as organic fertilizer and how to make it delivered by the resource team. Based on the results and discussion of the implementation of activities, it can be concluded that several things including partners in this case the farmer group is able to make organic fertilizer from palm waste, and a partner group is formed that is economically and socially independent through this activity.

Abstract

Healthy and clean lifestyle is a process that involves lifestyle changes to improve physical and mental health and maintain the environment around the school to remain clean and healthy. The implementation of health and environmental-based school activities uses a participatory method through interactive discussion activities between the service team and the management and teaching team and mentoring of clean and healthy lifestyles at the Indonesian School Kuala Lumpur continued by cleaning the school environment by involving students. The target of this community service program is the school environment including the Principal, teachers and other teaching teams and the secretary at the Indonesian School Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. After this activity ended, the physical environment of the school was seen to be cleaner and the school intensified the role of teachers and students to jointly maintain a clean lifestyle and order in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diet, nutritional status and learning outcomes of students at SMAN 2 Makassar and to determine the relationship between diet and nutritional status with learning outcomes of students at SMAN 2 Makassar. This research is a correlational study approach. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis in the form of regression test and multiple linear correlation test. The results of inferential analysis showed that there was a relationship between diet and nutritional status with student learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Makassar based on a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. The evenness of the relationship is in the “low” category based on the correlation value (R) of 0.227. The contribution of diet and nutritional status with learning outcomes based on the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.051%, while the remaining 94.9% is the contribution of several other factors.

Abstract

Kulit merupakan organ tubuh manusia yang sangat penting karena terletak pada bagian luar tubuh yang berfungsi menerima rangsangan seperti sentuhan, rasa sakit dan pengaruh lainnya dari luar. Penyakit kulit merupakan penyakit yang menyerang permukaan tubuh disebabkan oleh jamur, virus, kuman dan parasit. Faktor pendukung yang memacu terjadinya penyakit kulit diantaranya keadaan lingkungan berupa suhu dan kelembaban, sosial ekonomi yang berhubungan dengan tempat tinggal dan kepadatan hunian yang tinggi, selain itu kebiasaan yang menyangkut prilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Kejadian penyakit kulit di Indonesia masih tergolong tinggi dan menjadi permasalahan yang cukup berat. Hal tersebut karena kurangnya kesadaran dan ketidak pedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan sekitar yang menyebabkan penularan penyakit kulit sangat cepat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan kulit, mencegah penyakit kulit, dan merawat kulit dengan benar. Penyuluhan ini bisa mencakup berbagai topik, seperti jenis-jenis penyakit kulit umum, penyebabnya, gejala, pencegahan, perawatan, dan penggunaan produk perawatan kulit yang aman. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kota Palopo yang pesertanya berasal dari masyarakat Palopo Kota sebanyak 100 orang. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah berupa kegiatan penyuluhan secara satu arah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan dilakukannya penyuluhan kesehatan kulit  memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat kota Palopo. Penyampaian materi pada pelatihan ini dilakukan secara klasikal, semua peserta mengikuti materi yang disampaikan dengan cara ceramah dan kegiatan sesi tanya jawab. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari kegiatan ini yaitu peserta dapat merasakan manfaat dengan menambah pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya memelihara kesehatan kulit dengan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat di kalangan keluarga dan lingkungan sekitar. Semua peserta penyuluhan sangat antusias dan penuh semangat mengikuti mulai awal pelatihan hingga akhir. Kata kunci: Penyuluhan, Kesehatan Kulit, Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat Abstract Skin is a very important organ of the human body because it is located on the outside of the body which functions to receive stimuli such as touch, pain and other influences from outside. Skin diseases are diseases that attack the surface of the body caused by fungi, viruses, germs and parasites. Supporting factors that spur the occurrence of skin diseases include environmental conditions in the form of temperature and humidity, socio-economic conditions related to housing and high residential density, in addition to habits related to clean and healthy living behavior. The incidence of skin diseases in Indonesia is still relatively high and is a serious problem. This is due to the lack of awareness and indifference of the community to the surrounding environment which causes the transmission of skin diseases very quickly. This community service aims to increase people's understanding of the importance of maintaining healthy skin, preventing skin diseases, and taking proper care of the skin. This counseling can cover various topics, such as the types of common skin diseases, their causes, symptoms, prevention, treatment, and the use of safe skin care products. This activity was carried out in Palopo City with 100 participants from the Palopo City community. The method used in the implementation of this service is in the form of one-way counseling activities.Community service activities with skin health counseling have a positive impact on the people of Palopo city. The delivery of material in this training was carried out classically, all participants followed the material presented by lecturing and question and answer session activities. The conclusion obtained from this activity is that participants can benefit by increasing knowledge about the importance of maintaining skin health by implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle among families and the surrounding environment. All counseling participants were very enthusiastic and eager to follow from the beginning of the training to the end. Keywords: Counseling, Skin Health, Clean and Healthy Lifestyle

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low digital literacy of biology of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Luwu Timur. This study aims to determine the effect of android-based digital poster learning media on students' digital literacy in ecosystem material. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was all class X with a sample of 2 classes selected randomly. Which consists of 1 experimental class taught using android-based digital poster media, and 1 control class taught using wordwall-based open the box media. Data collection using a questionnaire given before and after treatment in the experimental class and control class. The results of the hypothesis testing at the digital literacy level showed a significance value of 0.023. This shows a sig value <α (0.05) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the influence of digital literacy of students taught using Android-based Digital Poster learning media and wordwall-based Open the Box learning media in class X Ecosystem material.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the differences in creative thinking skills among seventh-grade students taught using Wordwall and Educaplay in science learning at SMP Negeri 16 Mandai. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design was used. The sample consisted of two experimental classes: Wordwall (n = 32) and Educaplay (n = 31). Data were obtained through a creative thinking skills test and analyzed using ANCOVA. The results showed no significant difference in students’ creative thinking skills between the Wordwall and Educaplay groups (p = 0.788). This indicates that both quiz-based media had a comparable effect on students’ creative thinking performance. Although descriptive data showed improvements in posttest scores in both groups, the statistical analysis confirmed that the difference between the two media was not significant. It can be concluded that Wordwall and Educaplay are equally effective in supporting the development of students’ creative thinking skills in science learning, though neither showed superiority over the other.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan dan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi pada siswa kelas XI SMA 22 Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner food frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) untuk mengukur pola makan, Global Physical Activity Questinnare (GPAQ) untuk mengukur aktivitas fisik dan menggunakan pengukuran antropometri untuk mengukur status gizi. Data di analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial berupa uji regresi dan uji korelasi linier berganda. hasil analisis deskriptif penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola makan berada pada kategori tidak baik, aktivitas fisik berada pada kategori Tinggi, dan status gizi berada pada kategori normal. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara pola makan dengan status gizi dimana nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0.170 dengan tingkat hubungan “sangat sedang”, terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi dimana nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0.172 dengan tingkat hubungan “sangat rendah”. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara pola makan dan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi peserta didik Kelas XI di SMAN 22 Makassar berdasarkan nilai signifikansi 0,015 < 0,05 berada pada kategori rendah dengan nilai korelasi 0,245.

Abstract

The community service carried out aims to provide experience for children to know Moringa-based foods. Children are given an introduction to like to consume vegetables. The community service carried out was training in making moringa fried rice using the demonstration method. A total of 12 panelists participated to assess the level of preference for Moringa fried rice which included color, taste, aroma and texture that the panelists liked. It can be concluded that the results of the dedication show that Moringa fried rice is accepted/liked by the panelists and can be used as an alternative for daily consumption of highly nutritious children.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPola hidup sehat dan bersih adalah sebuah proses yang melibatkan perubahan gaya hidup untuk meningkatkan kesehatan fisik dan mental serta menjaga lingkungan di sekitar agar tetap bersih dan sehat. Pelaksanaan edukasi pola  hidup sehat dan bersih (PHBS) ini menggunakan metode partisipatif dengan melalui kegiatan  Jumat bersih dan sehat, yakni kegiatan senam pagi bersama, dilanjutkan membersihkan sanggar bimbingan dan lingkungan tempat tinggal warga masyarakat sekitar sanggar bimbingan sentul Malaysia. Sasaran dari program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini adalah anak-anak stateless di Sanggar Bimbingan Sentul Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Jumlah anak Stateles yang ikut sejumlah 38 anak dari yang terdaftar sebanyak 41..  Kegiatan   Kamis Sehat dan Jumat Bersih merupakan salah satu cara untuk membantu anak Stateles menjaga kesehatan dan kebersihan melalui olahraga senam bersama dan bersih diri (gerakan cuci tangan dan sikat gigi) dan bersih lingkungan melalui program lihat sampah ambil (LISA) ke tempat sampah . Hal ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti pendampingan. Anak-anak stateles mengikuti semua kegiatan dengan antusias dan riang gembira

Abstract

Program Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan siswa SMAN 2 Makassar melalui pendampingan proyek inovatif kokurikuler untuk memperkuat keterampilan abad 21 serta mendukung pelaksanaan asesmen formatif-sumatif. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi siswa meliputi keterbatasan dalam memulai dan menstrukturkan proyek, kurangnya kemampuan mengidentifikasi masalah berbasis data, rendahnya konsistensi kolaborasi tim, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan umpan balik dalam perbaikan produk. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu: (1) pembekalan melalui orientasi kokurikuler, penyepakatan aturan main, pengenalan alur LK, serta asesmen diagnostik awal untuk memetakan kesiapan peserta; (2) pendampingan praktik melalui pengerjaan LK 1–17 menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) secara bertahap disertai coaching dan asesmen formatif pada setiap LK sebagai dasar pemberian umpan balik; dan (3) monitoring, evaluasi, dan publikasi melalui penilaian sumatif akhir, refleksi individu/ kelompok, pameran/ pitching proyek, serta penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut program. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan kemandirian siswa dalam merancang solusi, kualitas kolaborasi, dan kemampuan komunikasi melalui presentasi proyek, yang tercermin dari capaian formatif LK dan skor sumatif akhir dengan dominasi kategori berkembang sesuai harapan hingga sangat berkembang. Program ini menghasilkan luaran berupa modul LK 1–17 yang siap digunakan sekolah, rubrik penilaian formatif–sumatif, serta produk/prototipe dan materi presentasi siswa sebagai bukti capaian pembelajaran dan keberlanjutan kegiatan kokurikuler.  Kata kunci : Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, Program Kokurikuler, Pembelajaran Mendalam, Keterampilan Abad 21, Asesmen Formatif, Asesmen Sumatif, Inovatif, Proyek, Kolaborasi AbstractThis community service program aims to empower students of SMAN 2 Makassar through mentoring in innovative co-curricular projects to strengthen 21st-century skills and to support the implementation of formative–summative assessment. The main problems faced by students include limited ability to initiate and structure projects, insufficient skills in identifying data-driven problems, low consistency in team collaboration, and suboptimal use of feedback to improve their products. The program method: (1) capacity building through co-curricular orientation, agreement on ground rules, introduction to the LK workflow, and an initial diagnostic assessment to map participants’ readiness; (2) hands-on mentoring through completion of LK 1–17 by gradually applying deep learning, accompanied by coaching and formative assessment for each LK as the basis for providing feedback; and (3) monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination through a final summative assessment, individual/group reflection, a project exhibition/pitching session, and the development of a follow-up action plan for the program. The results indicate increased student independence in designing solutions, improved collaboration quality, and stronger communication skills through project presentations, as reflected in formative LK achievement and final summative scores, predominantly within the categories of “developing as expected” to “highly developed.” The program produced outputs in the form of an LK 1–17 module ready for school use, formative–summative assessment rubrics, and student products/prototypes and presentation materials as evidence of learning achievement and the sustainability of co-curricular activities. Keywords : Community Service Program, Co-Curricular Program, Deep learning (Pedagogical Approach), 21st-Century Skills, Formative Assessment, Summative Assessment, Innovative, Project, Collaboration
