Abstract

Indonesian Language Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Class X SMA Negeri 12 Sinjai. This study aims to find out how to plan, implement, and evaluate online learning during the Covid-19 period for class X SMA Negeri 12 Sinjai. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This study's data is divided into three lessons: planning, implementing, and evaluating online learning. The data source used was the Indonesian language teacher at SMA Negeri 12 Sinjai. Data collection is done through interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, unit arrangement, and categorization. The results of this study produce a description of online learning, specifically in: (1) online learning planning is that the teacher does not prepare new indicators, (2) the implementation of online learning, where the teacher uses a conceptual approachin is the lecture method, and (3) online learning assessment is that the teacher uses the types and forms of online learning assessment.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif khususnya, Kelas IX Abd Rahman MTs Ar-Rahman DDI Galla Raya Pangkep yang mengalami masalah dalam menentukan struktur dan ciri kebahasaan pidato persuasif, dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode sinektika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif. Pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 55.6 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 76.6 sesuai perencanaan serta diskusi yang dilakukan peneliti dan kolaborator. Hasil peningkatan pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian observasi keaktifan siswa dan aktivitas guru. Hasil observasi keaktifan siswa di siklus I 53% dan meningkat menjadi 86% di siklus II. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru di siklus I 88,15% dan meningkat di siklus II 97,36%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode sinektika mampu meningatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif dari segi proses dan hasil. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Menulis Pidato Persuasif, Metode Sinektika

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menulis teks  prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Gowa (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks  prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah proses dan hasil menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Gowa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan (1) teknik observasi, (2) teknik tes, dan (3) teknik dokumentasi. Instrumen peneltian yaitu pedoman observasi dan instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ada dua yaitu (1) teknik analisis data kualitatif yaitu identifikasi, klasifikasi, deskripsi, dan analisis. (2) teknik analisis data kuantitatif yaitu membuat daftar skor mentah, membuat distribusi frekuensi dari skor mentah, dan mencari persentase rata-rata siswa.  Hasil proses pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan secara keseluruhan berlangsung dengan baik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil obsevasi aktivitas siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa Kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Gowa dikategorikan baik. Karena hasil persentase siwa yang memperoleh nilai 71 sampai 100 mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan yaitu 80%. Dari 30 jumlah sampel, 27 siswa (90%) yang mencapai nilai 71-100 dan 3 siswa (10%) yang memperoleh nilai 0-70. Kata Kunci: Menulis, Teks Prosedur, Kesantunan

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dialek regional masyarakat watariri manokwari selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan masyarakat kemudian masuk dalam kategori dialek regional. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat watariri. Teknik pengumpulan data ada lima tahap, yaitu transkrip data, mengidentifikasi dan mengklarifikasi data, menyalin ke dalam kartu data, menganalisis kartu data, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ragam dialek regional yang digunakan masyarakat dalam tuturannya pada saat berkomunikasi antara satu dengan yang lain. Ditemukan adanya beberapa kosakata yang hanya dan dipahami oleh masyarakat watariri pada saat menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dialek Papua. Keywords: Sosiolingustik, Ragam Bahasa, Ragam Dialek Regional

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to prove the effect of using advertising media on Instagram on the skills of writing persuasive texts for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Mare, Bone Regency. This research is a quantitative type with a pre-experimental design. The population of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mare, Bone Regency. The data in this study are the pretest and posttest values. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis. The results of the study through the Wilcoxon Test using SPSS version 21 revealed that there was a significant positive effect on the use of advertising media on Instagram on the persuasive text writing skills of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Mare Bone Regency as evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon Test Output showing the Asymp value. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the grammatical interpretation in elong Ugi Mappadendang by using Frederich Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The source of the research is elong Ugi Mappadendang which was created by Abdullah Alamudi and Andi Siti Nurhani Sapada, while the object of the research is the words and phrases in the text that are included in Frederich Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory. The results of the study indicate that there is a grammatical interpretation through the existence of parables, repetition, emphasis and word linkages that describe the Bugis people who are diligent and work hard to fulfill their needs in order to survive, regarding previous beliefs in the existence of Gods who give blessings and salvation, and the imposition is mandatory and brings goodness and the participation of the Bugis community in carrying out the Mappadendang tradition so that the preservation of the Mappadendang tradition grows in the Bugis community.Keywords: Grammatical Interpretation, Hermeneutics, Mappadendang

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the manifestation of character education values based on the guidelines for strengthening character education in 2018 contained in the literary text of the Indonesian Language Book Class VII SMP/MTs Curriculum 2013 revision 2017. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research are literary texts in Indonesian Language Book Class VII SMP/MTs Curriculum 2013 revision 2017 namely fantasy texts, folk poetry texts, and fable texts. The data collection technique used in this research is library research and documents. The results of the study show that 1) The form of character education values based on the guidelines for strengthening character education in 2018 in the fantasy story text of Indonesian Language Book Class VII SMP/MTs Curriculum 2013 there are five character education values with fifteen sub-values. The values of character education in the fantasy text of the book include religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity values. 2) In folk poetry there are four values of character education with ten sub-values. The values of character education in the text of the book's folk poetry include religious, nationalist, independent, and integrity values. 3) In the fable text there are five values of character education with twenty sub-values. The form of character education values in the book's fable text includes religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity values.Keywords: Education, Character, Literary Text

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to: Analyze the semantic, syntactic, stylistic, and rhetorical elements of the covid-19 pandemic news text on the online mass media Fajar.co.id. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the basis of the research using the critical discourse analysis method of Teun a Van Dijk. This research was conducted on the online mass media Fajar.co.id. It is one of the online mass media portals originating from the city of Makassar which is well known and considered to have actual and accurate news, this is proven by the number of public access that has reached tens of thousands of readers within 3 days. As of March-April 2021, researchers have received 30 news texts to be studied. This research will be carried out from May to June 2021 and carried out on the online mass media Fajar.co.id. The data collection technique used in this research is critical reading and citing things that are needed as complementary data. The steps of data collection techniques are, text observation, through direct observation or observation on the text to be studied. Identify and analyze covid-19 news texts in the online mass media Fajar.co.id. Marking important things related to the micro structure of the covid-19 news text in the online mass media Fajar.co.id. Transferring important data related to the microstructure of the covid-19 news text that is available on the online mass media of Fajar.co.id. Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method which aims to describe: (1) the socio-historical background of Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf and (2) the value of character education contained in novel The Lost Years Standing Strong in Shaykh Yusuf's Shadow. The primary data of this research is the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadow of Sheikh Yusuf, while the secondary data of this study was obtained through a written interview with Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel. The source of the data for this research comes from the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf and a written interview with Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel. Data collection was carried out in three stages, namely reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and interview techniques. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research uses the theory of sociology of literature by Rene Wellek and Austin Warren. The results of the study show that (1) Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf was born in Serang, Banten, precisely on August 30, 1985. Rully Ferdiansyah is of Sunda-Banten ethnicity and adheres to the teachings of Islam. The author is an environmental activist and anti-social disease activist in Cilegon. In addition, the author is a demisioner at the Banten Arts Council for the 2017-2018 period in the literary committee and also as a functionary of ICMI Banten for the 2019-present period, (2) In the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf, it is found five main characters in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Culture which include: religiosity values (20.68%), integrity values (16.37%), nationalist values (11.20%), independent values (10.34%), and mutual cooperation value (6%). The value of integrity, which is the fifth value, in this novel is in second place under the value of religiosity

Abstract

Abstract.This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the explicit instruction model in learning the skills of writing exposition texts for the tenth graders of MAN 1 Sinjai Utara. This type of research is classified as experimental research. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The design used in this study is a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study was the entire class X MAN 1 Sinjai Utara, totaling 207 students and the sample used was 25 students. The amount was determined by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used writing tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that; (1) learning without using explicit instruction model in the students' exposition text writing skills is in the less skilled category with an average value of 58.6. (2) Learning by applying the explicit instruction model in students' exposition text writing skills is in the skilled category with an average value of 77.9. (3) The explicit instruction model is effectively applied in learning the writing skills of the tenth grade students of MAN 1 Sinjai Utara Keyword : Explicit Instruction, Eksposition Text
