The Effect of Applying the Radec Model on the Ability to Write Expositional Texts. This study is entitled "The Effect of Applying the RADEC Learning Model on the Ability to Write Exposition Texts in Grade VIII Students at SMP Negeri 27 Makassar. This study aims to describe the ability to write expository texts before, after, and the effect of applying the RADEC model to class VIII students of SMP Negeri 27 Makassar. This study is quantitative. The data in this study were obtained from students' pretest and posttest scores. Data analysis techniques used in this study used descriptive statistics using the SPSS version 21 test and inferential statistics by carrying out normality tests, homogeneity tests, and effectiveness tests. The results of the data homogeneity test showed a sig value of 0.639 > 0.05, so the data was called homogeneous. The results of the one sample test showed that the t count > t table, namely 3,282 > 2,009, supported the hypothesis H0, namely that the use of the RADEC learning model was effectively used in learning to write exposition texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 27 Makassar.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan memahami istilah Asing di era pandemi Covid-19 siswa SMP Negeri 38 Makassar yang diperoleh dari kemampuan siswa SMP Negeri 38 Makassar mengartikan istilah Asing di era pandemi Covid-19 dan kemampuan siswa SMP Negeri 38 Makassar menggunakan istilah Asing di era pandemi Covid-19 ke dalam kalimat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 38 Makassar sebanyak 3 kelas, sedangkan sampelnya sebanyak 48 siswa perwakilan dari kelas VIII A, B dan C. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan 2 jenis tes yaitu tes menjodohkan (Matching), dan tes membuat kalimat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan hasil tes menjodohkan (Matching) sebesar 40,77 dan rata-rata keseluruhan hasil tes membuat kalimat sebesar 41,37. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa SMP Negeri 38 Makassar kurang mampu mengartikan istilah Asing di era pandemi Covid-19, didukung oleh rata-rata keseluruhan yaitu 40,77 yang berada dikategori penilaian kurang mampu, dan siswa SMP Negeri 38 Makassar cukup mampu menggunakan istilah Asing Covid-19 ke dalam kalimat, didukung oleh rata-rata keseluruhan yaitu 41,37 yang berada di kategori penilaian cukup mampu.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Memahami, Istilah Asing, Covid-19.

Analisis Tindak Tutur Ekspresif Dalam Fitur Trending Topik Twitter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan wujud tindak tutur ekspresif dalam fitur trending topik twitter bidang sosial dan politik (2) Menganalisis fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam fitur trending topik twitter bidang sosial dan politik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah teknik observasi, teknik dokumentasi, serta teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian tindak tutur ekspresif dalam fitur trending topik twitter mengungkapkan bahwa wujud tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan diantaranya, tuturan deklaratif, interogatif, dan imperatif. Sedangkan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan berupa fungsi tuturan mengucapkan terima kasih, mengucapkan selamat, memohon maaf, mengucapkan belasungkawa, mengancam, memuji, mengeluh, mengkritik, dan fungsi tuturan menyalahkan.

Ability to Write Persuasive Texts Based on Audiovisual Advertising Media in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 UluereBantaeng Regency. This study aims at the ability to write persuasive texts based on audiovisual advertising media in terms of structure, application and characteristics of language use. This research belongs to the type of quantitative description research. The research instrument used was a written test. The results showed that: (1) the ability to write persuasive texts in terms of structure, namely students who scored 78-100 found 12 students with proportions (36.36%) while students who scored 0-74 revealed 21 students with proportions (63 ,64%) is included in the category of quite capable. (2) writing persuasive texts if it can be viewed in terms of linguistic rules, namely students who get a score of 78-100 get 18 students with a proportion (54.54%) while students who score 0-74 get 15 students with a proportion (45.46% ) is included in the capable category. (3) the ability to write persuasive texts when viewed in terms of the characteristics of language use, namely students who scored 78-100 had 15 students with a proportion (45.45%) while students who scored 0-74 obtained 18 students with a proportion (54.55 %) ) is included in the category of quite capable. This shows that the ability to write persuasive texts based on audiovisual advertising media in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Uluere Bantaeng Regency is included in the quite capable category.

Indonesian Language Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Class X SMA Negeri 12 Sinjai. This study aims to find out how to plan, implement, and evaluate online learning during the Covid-19 period for class X SMA Negeri 12 Sinjai. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This study's data is divided into three lessons: planning, implementing, and evaluating online learning. The data source used was the Indonesian language teacher at SMA Negeri 12 Sinjai. Data collection is done through interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, unit arrangement, and categorization. The results of this study produce a description of online learning, specifically in: (1) online learning planning is that the teacher does not prepare new indicators, (2) the implementation of online learning, where the teacher uses a conceptual approachin is the lecture method, and (3) online learning assessment is that the teacher uses the types and forms of online learning assessment.

Indonesia's reading literacy score is below the average for 18 years as a participant in pisa assessment from 2000 to 2018. In 2018, the average reading literacy score of Indonesian students showed a significant decrease of 371. The scores obtained by Indonesian students do not meet the average minimum score of international literacy. Test sampling conducted by PISA is also one of the factors that determine the test results. Sampling is done randomly and not thoroughly so that the results do not represent the picture of literacy in a school. SMPN 5 Mandai, Maros Regency is a school that does not become a PISA test sample. Thus, measuring students' reading literacy in SMPN 5 Mandai is important to obtain specific and uniform data. The measurement results can later be used as a foundation to produce appropriate learning methods and design the right reading program for students. The present study aimed to examine: (1) students’ competence in finding text information; (2) students’ competence in understanding the text; (3) students’ competence in evaluating and reflecting on the text. A quantitative research design was used. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data were gathered using the internationally acknowledged OECD-PISA questions. The data collection technique is carried out by providing a test for 60 minutes. Data analysis steps, namely (1) performing a score, (2) converting the score into a value, (3) creating a value matrix, (4) establishing a competency category, and (5) making conclusions. Data analysis was run in SPSS version 25. The findings revealed that: (1) students’ competence in locating text information was sufficient, with a mean score of 63.92; (2) students’ competence in comprehending a text was very poor, with a mean score of 52.55; and (3) students’ competence in evaluating and reflecting on the text was very poor, with a mean score of 45.27.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif khususnya, Kelas IX Abd Rahman MTs Ar-Rahman DDI Galla Raya Pangkep yang mengalami masalah dalam menentukan struktur dan ciri kebahasaan pidato persuasif, dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode sinektika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif. Pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 55.6 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 76.6 sesuai perencanaan serta diskusi yang dilakukan peneliti dan kolaborator. Hasil peningkatan pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian observasi keaktifan siswa dan aktivitas guru. Hasil observasi keaktifan siswa di siklus I 53% dan meningkat menjadi 86% di siklus II. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru di siklus I 88,15% dan meningkat di siklus II 97,36%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode sinektika mampu meningatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif dari segi proses dan hasil. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Menulis Pidato Persuasif, Metode Sinektika

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Gowa (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah proses dan hasil menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Gowa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan (1) teknik observasi, (2) teknik tes, dan (3) teknik dokumentasi. Instrumen peneltian yaitu pedoman observasi dan instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ada dua yaitu (1) teknik analisis data kualitatif yaitu identifikasi, klasifikasi, deskripsi, dan analisis. (2) teknik analisis data kuantitatif yaitu membuat daftar skor mentah, membuat distribusi frekuensi dari skor mentah, dan mencari persentase rata-rata siswa. Hasil proses pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan secara keseluruhan berlangsung dengan baik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil obsevasi aktivitas siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks prosedur berbasis kesantunan pada siswa Kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Gowa dikategorikan baik. Karena hasil persentase siwa yang memperoleh nilai 71 sampai 100 mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan yaitu 80%. Dari 30 jumlah sampel, 27 siswa (90%) yang mencapai nilai 71-100 dan 3 siswa (10%) yang memperoleh nilai 0-70. Kata Kunci: Menulis, Teks Prosedur, Kesantunan

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dialek regional masyarakat watariri manokwari selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan masyarakat kemudian masuk dalam kategori dialek regional. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat watariri. Teknik pengumpulan data ada lima tahap, yaitu transkrip data, mengidentifikasi dan mengklarifikasi data, menyalin ke dalam kartu data, menganalisis kartu data, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ragam dialek regional yang digunakan masyarakat dalam tuturannya pada saat berkomunikasi antara satu dengan yang lain. Ditemukan adanya beberapa kosakata yang hanya dan dipahami oleh masyarakat watariri pada saat menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dialek Papua. Keywords: Sosiolingustik, Ragam Bahasa, Ragam Dialek Regional

Abstract. This study aims to prove the effect of using advertising media on Instagram on the skills of writing persuasive texts for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Mare, Bone Regency. This research is a quantitative type with a pre-experimental design. The population of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mare, Bone Regency. The data in this study are the pretest and posttest values. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis. The results of the study through the Wilcoxon Test using SPSS version 21 revealed that there was a significant positive effect on the use of advertising media on Instagram on the persuasive text writing skills of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Mare Bone Regency as evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon Test Output showing the Asymp value.
