Abstract

ISPS CODE adalah hukum internasional yang memberikan keamanan kapal dan fasilitas pelabuhan. ada kemungkinan terjadinya ancaman bahaya pada fasilitas pelabuhan dan kapal yang membuat meningkatnya security level pada Tersus Semen Indonesia Group interpretasi masing ISPS Code menjadi berbeda-beda di berbagai daerah berdasarkan kemampuan mereka di bidang-bidang yang tergolong faktor internal yaitu kualitas sumber daya manusia dan minimnya kelengkapan fasilitas serta peralatan di kapal dan pelabuhan.Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi penerapan ISPS Code terhadap tingkat keamanan operasional di Terminal Khusus Semen Indonesia Group.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada KSOP Kelas III Tanjung Pakis pada wilayah kerja Djenu khususnya Terminal Khusus Semen Indonesia Group dalam jangka waktu selama 1,5 tahun. populasi yang ditetapkan adalah pegawai KSOP Kelas III Tanjung Pakis Wilayah kerja Djenu dan Pekerja pada Terminal Khusus Semen Indonesia Group dengan sampel yang di tentukan sejumlah 50 orang. Sumber data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuisioner, observasi dan studi pustaka dengan Teknik analisis data yaitu Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini untuk variabel Pengaruh ISPS CODE Terhadap Tingkat keamanan operasional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan besar pengaruhnya 45%. Adapun identifikasi bahaya dengan resiko yang paling tinggi yaitu kebakaran di area pelabuhan dengan L (Likelihood) 3,C (Consequences) 4 dengan Risk Rating ekstrim.

Abstract

The phenomenon that occurs in the load lifting system is the need for an efficient and reliable mechanism to move the crane hoist pulley vertically and horizontally. This study aims to design and test a crane hoist system that uses a DC motor and a stepper motor controlled by an L293D motor driver, and to develop an application based on MIT App Inventor to control the movement of the motor. The research method used is integrated hardware and software design, followed by testing the performance of the motor, driver, and the application developed. Testing was carried out under limited load conditions, to measure the motor speed, voltage, and current used at loads of 10 to 100 grams. The results of the study showed that the system can function well at varying speeds, and the motor is able to lift a maximum load of up to 100 grams with a speed that decreases according to the weight of the load. The MIT App Inventor application successfully controls the motor effectively via a WiFi connection with a maximum distance of 10 meters, and loads the operation of the crane vertically and horizontally. This study proves that the designed system is able to work optimally in lifting and moving loads, and the application developed provides easy and efficient control.

Abstract

The Unmanned ships have become a primary focus in maritime technology development to enhance efficiency and navigational safety in waters. In this research, a unmanned ship utilizing ESP32CAM as its core system is designed to detect navigation lights of other vessels and avoid potential collisions. The initial response of the ESP32CAM camera reads the colors of lights approaching the unmanned ship within a distance of less than 100cm. The ESP32CAM reads and identifies colors through image processing. When the ESP32CAM detects green and red lights, it commands the buzzer to sound. The color detection system works such that when the ESP32CAM detects a red light, it sends a signal to the servo motor to move left, and when it detects a green light, it sends a signal to the servo motor to move right. The servo motor functions as the ship's rudder. Testing of the navigation light system with ESP32CAM camera to prevent ship collisions is conducted with predetermined scenarios, including testing with red LEDs, green LEDs, and overall system testing. The results show that the navigation light system with ESP32CAM camera functions well. The ESP32CAM camera can optimally identify light colors at a distance of 100cm. Based on the conducted research, the ESP32CAM camera is capable of reading both the distance and colors of lights as specified at a distance of 100cm.

Abstract

Autonomous Fire Extinguisher (AFE) On The Ship or known as an automatic fire extinguisher on a ship is a fire extinguisher without a crew in it in the form of a ship prototype. The fire extinguisher is controlled automatically using a cellphone remote control. This fire extinguisher can also extinguish fire automatically according to the fire point. The research method used is system design and development. The system is designed with an Infrared Flame Sensor, and ESP8266 Wi-Fi to deploy the ship to the position of the fire point and extinguish the fire automatically. The data obtained will be sent to the application using a Raspberry Pi Pico and hardware design to determine the system architecture, selecting appropriate components, software design to develop algorithms and programs, as well as testing and evaluation to assess overall system performance. Data collection techniques are carried out through system testing to evaluate the performance of the component system and the integration of the entire system. The test results show that the Infrared Flame Sensor can detect fire points at a distance of 40cm to 80cm and the active and focused sprayer control system can extinguish according to the accuracy of the fire point (fire) automatically. The results of this test are used to ensure that each component functions according to the specifications that have been given, develop simple tools to be more effective, efficient and improve technology.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of temperature and pressure at the cargo heater on the flow rate of LPG during the discharge and loading process on the LPG tanker ship. The main problem is the freezing of LPG (propane and butane) in cold climates which hinders the smooth flow and slows down the discharge and loading process. The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of heating through cargo heater in reducing the viscosity of LPG and to identify the dominant factors that affect the flow speed. The method used is causal quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis, supported by direct observation data during the discharge and loading process and data processing through statistical software. The results showed that pressure partially had a significant effect on increasing flow rate, while temperature showed no significant effect partially. However, temperature and pressure variables were simultaneously shown to increase LPG flow rate. The conclusion of the study states that proper pressure regulation with adequate temperature support is the key to the efficiency of the discharge and loading process. The implication of the research is the optimization of cargo heater design based on pressure regulation to improve operational performance on gas tankers.

Abstract

Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a communication technology that plays an important role in improving operational safety and efficiency in the shipping industry. AIS allows ships to exchange real-time data on identity, position, speed, and direction, which helps prevent collisions and facilitates maritime traffic management by port authorities. In addition, AIS functions in search and rescue operations by providing accurate information on the location of ships in trouble. In terms of security, AIS allows monitoring of suspicious ships, thus helping in preventing illegal activities in the waters. This study aims to design and develop a prototype AIS receiver based on LoRa, Arduino, and LCD HMI. The LoRa module was chosen because of its ability to transmit data over long distances with low power consumption, which is suitable for the maritime environment. Arduino is used as the main microcontroller to control the system, while the LCD HMI serves as the display interface for the received data. After the hardware and software design was completed, the system was tested through functional testing and performance measurements using a spectrum analyzer to evaluate the strength of the LoRa signal at various distances. The test results show that the AIS receiver is able to receive data well up to 15 meters on land and 13 meters at sea, with a delay of 100 milliseconds. System performance degrades at longer distances due to environmental interference and signal attenuation. These findings provide insight into the effective limits of LoRa communication in maritime applications and can be used as a reference for frequency testing and optimization of LoRa-based long-range communication systems.

Abstract

Research aims to design and develop a boiler system for heating Marine Fuel Oil (MFO) 180 CST by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology to enhance efficiency and operational monitoring. The methods used include boiler system design, selection of types and materials according to international standards, and the implementation of an optimal combustion system. IoT sensors are strategically placed to monitor key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and fluid flow in real-time. The collected data is transmitted to a cloud platform, enabling remote monitoring and automated performance analysis through a web or mobile-based application.. The research results indicate that IoT integration in the boiler system improves fuel heating efficiency, optimizes energy consumption, and facilitates easier monitoring and process control. Testing includes pressure tests, combustion efficiency, steam capacity, and material durability, with real-time monitoring to support performance analysis and early problem detection. Operational data evaluation allows for design adjustments or system settings to further enhance energy efficiency. With this innovation, the boiler system can operate more optimally, support energy efficiency, and facilitate predictive maintenance for sustainable industrial operations. The implementation of IoT in this system is expected to improve safety, effectiveness, and automation in boiler management, making it a more reliable and modern solution.

Abstract

Fish is one of the easiest foods to get, but fish easily spoil. So there are 2 methods to extend the life of fish so that they do not experience a spoilage, namely drying and salting. In the 4.0 era, technology is growing rapidly, one of which is IoT-based technology, in order to help all activities carried out by humans to be more effective and efficient. The purpose of this study is to design an automatic salted fish dryer system using the Internet of Things (IoT) and determine the performance effectiveness of salted fish dryers using the Internet of Things (IoT). The research method of this scientific paper uses an experimental method to test the hypothesis that will be proposed and is useful for predicting an event. Data collection techniques using literature study, data collection, needs analysis, application design and application programming as well as algorithm implementation. Based on the results of the research, the design of an automatic salted fish drying equipment system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) has the ability to monitor the movement of the tool through a smartphone. All components of the appliance can operate automatically just by pressing the start button and setting the duration of the time and the existence of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based salted fish drying device can facilitate and streamline the time when the process of drying fish into salted fish. Initially, small anchovies weighing 100 grams were dried for 3 days, but after using a salted fish dryer, the drying process was reduced to 3 hours (09.00 a.m-13.00 p.m) with a moisture content of 18 grams, while small flying fish weighing 100 grams required a drying process for 5 days (09.00 a.m-13.00 p.m) and would have a moisture content of 30 grams in 3 hours after using a salted fish dryer.

Abstract

In recent decades, the use of unmanned vehicles (UV) has increased significantly. Unmanned ship operations involve various technical challenges that require sophisticated solutions. Dynamic marine environments, including strong currents, high waves, and extreme weather conditions, can affect ship performance to maintain stability and steer the ship properly, a precise and responsive control system is essential. Small errors in maneuvering can result in high risks, such as damage to the ship or loss of cargo, as well as potential danger to other ships or the environment. The purpose of this study is to design and build a servo motor control system for maneuvering systems on ships and to determine whether servo motors can control maneuvering systems on unmanned ships. The results of this study indicate that the servo motor control system in this study can work automatically or manually. In automatic mode, the motor angle can be set via the application. The ship will stop when the angle matches the settings in the application, based on data from the compass sensor. This sensor ensures that the direction of the ship's movement is accurate by providing a signal when the angle set matches the compass angle. The angle that has been determined when maneuvering the ship's automatic movement system is not accurate, due to currents, water waves and wind that make the ship move or change position by itself.

Abstract

Pelabuhan memegang peran penting dalam sistem logistik nasional sebagai penghubung moda transportasi laut dan darat. Efisiensi proses bongkar muat sangat menentukan kelancaran perdagangan, namun sering terhambat oleh rendahnya kompetensi Tenaga Kerja Bongkar Muat (TKBM), khususnya di Pelabuhan Probolinggo. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi SDM terhadap efisiensi operasional dan keselamatan kerja, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini memperkuat hasil penelitian sebelumnya (Pamujianto et al., 2025; Gultom et al., 2022; Setiono & Prasetyo, 2020) yang menyebutkan bahwa rendahnya kesadaran K3, lemahnya implementasi SOP, dan kurangnya pembinaan menjadi faktor struktural masalah TKBM terhadap aktivitas bongkar muatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama enam bulan (Agustus 2023–Februari 2024) di Pelabuhan Probolinggo. Analisis data mengacu pada model Miles and Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar TKBM memiliki latar belakang pendidikan rendah (58,95% tamat SD) dan usia di atas 45 tahun (40,53%). Rendahnya tingkat pendidikan, usia lanjut, minimnya pelatihan, serta kurangnya sertifikasi kompetensi berdampak pada lambatnya proses bongkar muat, tingginya risiko kecelakaan kerja, dan rendahnya kedisiplinan. Indikator ET/BT hanya mencapai rata-rata 64% selama 2024, masih di bawah standar nasional (70%). Selain itu, kasus kecelakaan kerja terjadi setiap tahun, termasuk dua korban meninggal pada 2021. Temuan ini diperlukan strategi peningkatan kompetensi melalui pelatihan berkala, regenerasi tenaga kerja, dan sinergi antara KSOP dan koperasi TKBM untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, keselamatan kerja, serta daya saing pelabuhan Indonesia.
