Abstract

Educational financial management plays a crucial role in Islamic Education Institutions. Therefore, a strategy is necessary for the survival and development of these institutions. The relationship between educational institutions and financial management is inseparable. This research employs the library research method and gathers data from Mendeley, Publish or Perish, and Google Scholar applications. During the research process, researchers will analyse case studies, implementation examples, and financial reports from previous educational institutions. They will also analyse policies and regulations related to financial management in educational institutions that are implemented in various settings. The aim of this research is to provide a solution for achieving the goals of Islamic Education Institutions by improving their financial management system. The research findings indicate that effective educational financial management strategies are not only based on the principles of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, but also require human resources with both professional competence and a correct understanding and implementation of Islamic law, from an Islamic perspective. It is important to note that Islamic rules are more intricate than scientific discoveries.

Abstract

Whether an educational institution develops or not depends on its performance. To improve this performance, many things are done, including how leaders help improve institutional performance in developing competitiveness, one of which is through benchmarking. From this, researchers want to know whether there is a relationship between benchmarking and institutional performance. This research aims to determine the relationship between benchmarking and performance at one State Madrasah Aliyah in East Java. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data collection method uses a Likert scale. The population and sample use a saturated sample technique or a total sample with 35 respondents. The data analysis technique uses Product Moment correlation. This research shows a relationship between benchmarking and institutional performance with evidence of a product-moment correlation value of 0.430 with a significance value of 0.010 (p < 0.05), which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This research provides implications for benchmarking and institutional performance in competitiveness development.

Abstract

Objective: To examine the influence of compensation on teacher performance and its impact on the quality of education in a country. Method: This study evaluates the role of compensation—including salary, benefits, allowances, and other incentives—in motivating teachers and enhancing their performance. A qualitative approach was used to assess how adequate compensation correlates with teacher morale and effectiveness. Results: Findings indicate that sufficient compensation significantly boosts teacher motivation and performance. Teachers who feel valued through appropriate remuneration demonstrate higher morale and contribute to improved educational outcomes. Conversely, inadequate compensation can diminish teacher morale, potentially degrading the quality of education delivered. Novelty: This study highlights the critical connection between compensation satisfaction and teacher performance, emphasizing its role not only as financial support but also as a form of recognition that impacts educational quality.
