Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam tradisi payango dalam konteks pembelajaran IPS. Payango adalah sebuah tradisi yang dijalankan oleh masyarakat Gorontalo untuk menentukan titik pusat rumah dan struktur bangunan yang akan berdampak pada kualitas hunian yang akan ditempati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam tradisi payango terdapat nilai-nilai moral dan karakter yang positif, seperti semangat gotong royong, aspek keagamaan, dan toleransi, yang memiliki relevansi kuat dengan pembelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu, tradisi payango merupakan langkah yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat Gorontalo ketika mereka ingin membangun rumah baru, karena payango bertujuan untuk menciptakan kondisi di mana penghuni rumah dapat hidup dengan damai, merasa aman, dan agar rumah tersebut tidak mudah rusak.

Abstract

Technology in education is a system used to support learning to produce desired targets. Indonesian technology implementation states that technology can be used as a learning intermediary, management tool and learning resource. The development of science and technology has had a positive influence on increasing openness and the spread of knowledge across space and time on a global scale. The teacher is the only source of learning for students. In this educational interaction pattern, the class teacher dominates teaching and learning activities. This teaching pattern does not or does not provide opportunities for the use of technology in teaching. Books, blackboards, teaching media, libraries have not played a role in the teaching and learning process. Such teaching patterns do not provide space for the development of technology in teaching. In facing improvements in the quality of education in the digital era, the role of teachers is very much needed. However, in practice, teachers face several challenges in the world of education in the digital era, such as: developments in technology and information have an impact on the increasingly rapid development of science.

Abstract

Gamification in education is an innovative approach that applies game elements and principles to the learning process. Its main goal is to increase student engagement and motivation, thus creating a more enjoyable and effective learning experience. In its implementation, gamification incorporates technology to provide an interactive learning environment that focuses on achievement and skill development. While it offers many benefits, gamification implementation also faces challenges, including the need for proper planning and adaptation according to the specific needs of the curriculum. This shows that when implemented correctly, gamification can be a powerful tool to advance pedagogy and improve student academic outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penulisan artikel untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terdapat dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber ilmiah, misalnya buku dan artikel dari jurnal yang terbit pada tahun 2014 hingga 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam Kurikulum Merdeka terdapat program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang terdiri dari beberapa kegiatan yakni (1) Pertukaran pelajar; (2) Magang/praktik kerja; (3) Asistensi mengajar di satuan Pendidikan; (4) Penelitian/riset; (5) Proyek kemanusian, (6) Kegiatan wirausaha; (7) Studi/proyek independent. (8) Membangun desa/kuliah kerja nyata tematik. Banyaknya kegiatan yang ada dalam MBKM tenyata memuat nilai-nilai Pancasila diantaranya adalah: (1) Landasan Filosofis Pancasila; (2) Pembentukan Karakter; (3) Penguatan Identitas Kebangsaan; (4) Pendidikan Demokratis; (5) Mengatasi Tantangan Sosial.Abstract: The purpose of writing an article is to examine the values of Pancasila contained in the Independent Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data is obtained from various scientific sources, such as books and articles from journals published from 2014 to 2023. The results showed that in the Independent Curriculum there is the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program which consists of several activities, namely: (1) Student exchange; (2) Internship/work practice; (3) Teaching assistance in educational units; (4) Research; (5) Humanitarian projects, (6) Entrepreneurial activities; (7) Independent study/project. (8) Build villages/thematic community service program. The number of activities in MBKM actually contains the values of Pancasila including: (1) Philosophical Foundation of Pancasila; (2) Character Building; (3) Strengthening National Identity; (4) Democratic Education; (5) Overcoming Social Challenges.

Abstract

City branding is an object contested by various cities and regencies in Indonesia. The goal was to introduce their identity of them, so strong branding could be the basis for marketing tourism from the city. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the perspectives of domestic tourists about city branding that use religion as the basis for their branding. This study analyzes the perspectives of tourists who visit Gorontalo City and Manokwari Regency. Gorontalo has the branding Serambi Madinah, and Manokwari is famous with Kota Injil as its branding. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis based on Tourism Consumption Behavior (TCB) and critical questions for developing a city brand strategy. This study was conducted in 19 days, from 1 February to 20 February 2023, by interviewing tourists who visited Gorontalo City and Manokwari Regency. Literature studies also support the discussion in this study. The results showed that Gorontalo City, which has Serambi Madinah branding, has not attracted tourists' attention to sites, mosques, and religious festivals held in Gorontalo City. Tourists prefer to travel to the coast of Tomini Bay, such as Pulo Cinta and Botubarani Whale Sharks. Meanwhile, tourists visiting Manokwari have a more perspective that Manokwari is Kota Injil, where the bible first entered Papua through Manokwari. Several factors can also influence city branding: local history, culture, natural resources, and religion. Local wisdom is also essential to support the city's branding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the historical heritage collection at the Blambangan Museum, Banyuwangi Regency through Sijamuwangi application media and its utilization for a history learning source. While the problems studied in this study are: (1) what items from the collection of historical heritage in the Blambangan Museum are available to be accessed by using Sijamuwangi application? (2) how to use Sijamuwangi application as a source of history learning?. The research method applied in this study is literature method where the research material/research data needed are obtained from the library source in forms of books, documents, journals, encyclopaedias, articles and other source related to this study. According to the research results, the Blambangan Museum that integrated to the Sijamuwangi application collects a large amount of historical relics which can be utilized as a source of historical learning to learn about development of the social life, government, and culture during the period of Hindu-Buddha kingdoms in Indonesia.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang terkait dengan upaya sosialisasi meningkatkan literasi membaca siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Gorontalo. Sosialisasi ini merupakan bentuk edukasi dan penyuluhan tentang literasi membaca kepada siswa dengan tujuan agar mereka memiliki kemampuan literasi yang tinggi sehingga dapat berpikir kritis dan memperoleh hasil belajar yang memuaskan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup penyampaian materi melalui ceramah, tanya jawab, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah pemahaman siswa tentang definisi literasi, jenis-jenis literasi, faktor penyebabnya rendahnya literasi, dampak yang ditimbulkan jika memiliki literasi yang rendah, serta upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca. Kegiatan ini juga membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik serta berkolaborasi bersama siswa yang lain tanpa terjadi perpecahan.

Abstract

A vital part of life is reading. Reading has several advantages, including strengthening memory, expanding knowledge, and enhancing brain function. It is believed that developing literacy in children will lead them to better reasoning abilities, because the best learning can be obtained by reading. This research aims to describe a community literacy program to increase children's interest in reading in rural areas. The method used in writing this article is a literature review. The results obtained in this research are that the Community Literacy Program has an important role in improving literacy culture in children. Where children who usually feel bored studying alone at home can turn to a reading house to be able to study together while also being able to find entertainment with games.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui lebih dalam tentang tradisi Moosoa suku Saluan di Kecamatan Batui Kabupaten Banggai Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Tradisi Moosoa di dalam kehidupan masyarakat merupakan suatu aspek yang sangat penting dan merupakan hak asasi setiap individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Moosoa merupakan perkawinan yang dilakukan oleh suku Saluan yang tahapannya meliputi: 1. Mompokilawa (Lamaran), 2 Molato (Diskusi Keluarga Tentang Biaya Nikah). 3. Membuat Sindua (Membuat Mas Kawin), 4. Moosoa (Pernikahan). Tradisi Moosoa memiliki makna dan nilai-nilai budaya yang luhur dan perlu dilestarikan oleh generasi muda saat ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi profesionalisme guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan siswa di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan seorang guru profesional dapat terlihat dari kualitas proses pembelajaran, penguasaan terhadap kompetensi guru, dan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya berbagai upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru.
