Abstract

This study aimed to develop the Multimedia System for Accelerated and Assisted Integrated Reading (SMAART), an interactive learning application specifically designed to support high school students with literacy disabilities. Utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, the study only reached the development stage. This study followed a systematic development process to ensure the application's pedagogical and technical effectiveness. The analysis phase identified key literacy challenges through teacher interviews and student observations, while the design phase incorporated multimedia principles to create an engaging and accessible interface. During development, the application was built using Articulate Storyline 3, integrating text, audio, and visual elements to accommodate diverse learning needs. Expert validation was conducted with media specialists (assessing usability and design) and literacy educators (evaluating content relevance), resulting in high scores for display quality (4.6/5) and instructional effectiveness (4.4/5). User feedback highlighted the application's intuitive navigation (89% satisfaction rate), interactive exercises, and motivational multimedia components. The evaluation phase confirmed the effectiveness of SMAART as a complementary tool for literacy education, especially for students with learning disabilities. Its success underscores the potential of adaptive multimedia technology to promote inclusive education. Future research could expand testing to broader demographics and explore AI-based personalization. Ultimately, SMAART offers a scalable model for digital literacy interventions, aligning with the School Literacy Movement (GLS) initiative in Indonesia and addressing the gap in accessible learning resources for students with disabilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses morfologis berupa afiksasi, reduplikasi, dan komposisi yang terdapat pada judul berita di majalah Swantara edisi September 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah judul berita yang terdapat dalam majalah Swantara edisi September 2024. Data yang diambil berupa kata yang mengalami proses morfologis pada judul berita di majalah tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh sebanyak 55 data proses morfologis. Dari 55 data proses morfologis tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi afiksasi sebanyak 49 data, reduplikasi sebanyak satu data, dan komposisi sebanyak lima data. Afiksasi dikelompokkan menjadi afiksasi jenis prefiks sebanyak 19 data, afiksasi jenis infiks sebanyak satu data, afiksasi jenis sufiks sebanyak sembilan data, dan afiksasi jenis konfiks sebanyak 20 data. Oleh karena itu, proses morfologis yang paling banyak digunakan pada judul berita di majalah Swantara edisi September 2024 yaitu bentuk afiksasi. Kata-kata Kunci: proses morfologis, judul berita, majalah Abstract This study aims to analyze the morphological processes in the form of affixation, reduplication, and composition contained in the news titles in the September 2024 edition of Swantara magazine. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source in this study is the news titles contained in the September 2024 edition of Swantara magazine. The data taken are words that undergo morphological processes in the news titles in the magazine. Based on the results of the study, 55 morphological process data were obtained. Of the 55 morphological process data, they are grouped into 49 affixations, one reduplication, and five compositions. Affixation is grouped into 19 prefix affixations, one infix affix affixation, nine suffix affixation, and 20 confix affix affixes. Therefore, the morphological process most frequently used in the news titles in the September 2024 edition of Swantara magazine is the form of affixation. Abstract

This research aims to describe the types of language variations in Grab Driver application notifications. This research uses sociolinguistic studies, using descriptive qualitative research methods. This research uses data collection techniques, namely the listening method with skilled free-involved listening techniques, note-taking techniques, and documentation methods. This research resulted in 56 language variations being discovered, including: 27 in terms of speakers, including thirteen acrolects, two basilects, five slangs, three colloquials, and four jargons. Then 29 in terms of formality, including two official styles, eighteen business styles, seven casual styles, and two intimate styles. This shows that the app creator has used a language that can be understood by more users. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis variasi bahasa dalam notifikasi aplikasi Grab Driver. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian sosiolinguistik dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu metode simak dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik catat, dan metode dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 56 variasi bahasa, meliputi: 27 dari segi penutur, meliputi tiga belas akrolek, dua basilek, lima slang, tiga kolokial, dan empat jargon. Kemudian, 29 dari segi keformalan, meliputi dua ragam resmi, delapan belas ragam usaha, tujuh ragam santai, dan dua ragam akrab. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembuat aplikasi telah menggunakan bahasa yang dapat dimengerti oleh lebih banyak pengguna.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the value of local wisdom in the legend of Ki Buyut Batisari, Pabedilan District by the local community, (2) its use as a drama learning module in grade VIII junior high school. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data from this study is the legend of Ki Buyut Batisari. Data collection techniques indirectly affect the acquisition of research data, therefore data collection techniques must be adapted to the research objectives. In this study, in obtaining data, the authors used data techniques in the form of: (1) Listening techniques, (2) Recording techniques. The results of this study can be concluded that the value of local wisdom in the legend describes research data related to the problem that has been formulated, namely the value of wisdom in the legend of Ki Buyut Batisari, Pabedilan District, Cirebon Regency in the form of: (1) mutual cooperation, (2) honesty, (3) Commitment, (4) Confidence, (5) Politeness, (6) Authority, (7) Honesty. Using it as a module contains KD 3.16 Examining the structure and language of local dramas that are read and heard, KD 4.16 Acting out the contents of local regional dramas that are read and heard. The implications of the value of local wisdom in the legend of Ki Buyut Batisari, Pabedilan Sub-District, can make it easier for teachers to explain cultural values ​​that can be used as lessons and students and generations will always preserve their local culture, especially local wisdom in the legend of Ki Buyut Batisari.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the habit of reading literature, (2) the skill of writing poetry, (3) the relationship between the habit of reading literature and the skill of writing poetry in class IX students of SMPN 3 Losari Brebes. This research is a qualitative correlation research. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, the results of this study are as follows. First, based on the results of data analysis on the habit of reading literary works, it can be obtained that 4 students (12%) are in the very good category, 12 students (36%) are in the high category, 14 students (43%) are in the low category and 3 are in the very good category. students (9%) in the very low category. The reading habit of class IX students of SMPN 3 Losari Brebes can be said to be moderate. Second, based on the analysis of poetry writing skill data, information can be obtained that there are 8 students (24%) in the very high category, 7 students (21%) in the high category, 15 students (46%) in the low category and 3 students ( 9%) in the very low category. The skill of writing poetry for class IX students of SMPN 3 Losari Brebes can be said to be moderate. Third, there is a positive and significant relationship between reading habits and poetry writing skills in SMPN 3 Losari Brebes students. Pearson Correlation value of 0.918 (perfect category). The implication of the results of this study is that poetry writing skills are determined by several factors, one of which is the habit of reading literary works. To improve students' poetry reading skills, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the habit of reading literature which has a positive and significant relationship between the habit of reading literary works and the skill of writing.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe or describe the structure, function, and meaning of the self-compassion mantra, namely the mantra "Mandi Ular Cintamani". The research method used is descriptive method in the form of qualitative, by applying a structural approach. Data collection tools used are listening, reading, and note taking techniques. The validity technique used is triangulation. The data analysis used in this study is the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman, which contains four components of the data analysis process, including the process of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Judging from the results of data analysis, the structure of the spell was found, including: title element, opening element, intention element, suggestion element, purpose element, and closing element. Then, this mantra serves to conquer evil or evil things, fill supernatural powers, a medium of communication with God, amorous charms, and to shackle the human and jinn spirits. Meanwhile, the mantra cintamani snake bath has a figurative or connotative meaning. This research can be applied or implemented in junior high school grade VII odd semester, namely Basic Competency 3.14 and 4.14 about folk poetry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of expressive and deep speech acts in the comments column of the Instagram account @Anggy_Umbara on the film poster Vina Sebelum 7 Hari, and to compile a learning assessment instrument for descriptive texts at the junior high school level as a utilization of the research results. This research method is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data source in this study is the film poster Vina Sebelum 7 Hari which was posted by the official Instagram account of a film director, namely Anggy Umbara with the account name @Anggy_Umbara. The data for this study are excerpts from speech in the comments column of the official Instagram account @Anggy_Umbara as the director of the film Vina Sebelum 7 Hari on the film poster teaser and the first day of screening poster in theaters, with a data collection period of one period, namely March-May 2024. This study uses data collection techniques with documentation techniques, free listening, speaking, and taking notes. This study uses the analysis technique of the referential and pragmatic matching method. The results of the study found eight types of expressive speech acts in the comments column of the Instagram account @Anggy_Umbara on the upload of the film poster Vina Sebelum 7 Hari, namely: expressive speech acts of praise. Expressive speech acts of criticism, expressive speech acts of suggestions, expressive speech acts of curses, expressive speech acts of complaints, expressive speech acts of gratitude, expressive speech acts of congratulations and expressive speech acts of condolences with a total data of 99 utterances. The results of the analysis showed 38 data of expressive speech of praise, 17 data of expressive speech of criticism, six data of expressive speech of suggestions, four data of expressive speech of curses, 10 data of speech complaints, five data of gratitude, four data of congratulations, and 18 data of condolences. This research has several important implications both in the fields of language and knowledge. The types of expressive speech acts reflect the practice of using language that can be applied, about how the speech responds to something emotionally. Cognitively, this research provides an effective learning assessment instrument product, where the data sources and research data provide a real picture of how individuals understand and interact with their surroundings later.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan citra perempuan dalam novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus dengan pendekatan feminis marxis. Metode yang digunakan Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Data yang digunakan berupa penggalan dialog dan prolog yang dicurigai memiliki citra perempuan.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca dan catat. Peneliti akan melihat hasil penelitian dan kredibilitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, metode dan teori. 1) menganalisis dan menginterprestasi kedudukan tokoh utama perempuan dalam kelasisme, 2) Menggunakan metode padan referensial sebagai analisis data. 3) menganalisis dan menginterprestasi citra perempuan. Hasil yang diperoleh 15 data yang dicurigai sebagai citra perempuan. Berdasarkan penelitian terdapat 5 data berupa citra perempuan dari segi fisik, 6 data berupa citra perempuan dari segi psikis, dan 4 data berupa citra perempuan dari segi sosial. Penelitian ini Hasil penelitian dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai instrumen penilaian pada pembelajaran novel kelas XII sesuai dengan KD 3.9 menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan dalam novel serta KD 4.9 merancang novel dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaan baik secara lisan atau tulis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan readathon terhadap minat baca pada siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 2 Sumber Cirebon. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Desain Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 8 SMP Negeri 2 Sumber Cirebon. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket (pretest dan Posttest) dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, diperoleh nilai rerata gainscore minat baca siswa pada kelompok eksperimen = 3.5938 dan pada kelompok kontrol = 2.7273. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut minat baca pada siswa yang mendapatkan kegiatan readathon lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang tidak diberikan kegiatan readathon. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian kegiatan readathon berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat baca siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 2 Sumber Cirebon. Kebutuhan terhadap minat baca menjadi indikator dari variable minat baca, banyak siswa yang menganggap buku sebagai kebutuhan. Rasa senang terhadap bacaan menjadi indikator yang belum tercapai, banyak siswa yang belum memunculkan perasaan senang dalam membaca. Kegiatan readathon yang berjalan dengan baik akan menumbuhkan minat baca siswa. Hal ini berarti semakin berjalan keefektifan kegiatan readathon maka semakin bertambah pula minat baca. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the readathon on reading interest in grade 8 students at SMP Negeri 2 Sumber. This research is included in the type of quantitative research. This research design uses quantitative experimental methods. The data source for this research is grade 8 students at SMP Negeri 2 Sumber. Data collection techniques used questionnaires (pretest and posttest) and interviews. Subject The data analysis technique used SPSS Version 26. The results of this study showed that based on descriptive analysis, the average gain score for students' reading interest in the experimental group = 3.5938 and in the control group = 2.7273. Based on these results, interest in reading among students who received readathon activities was higher than students who were not given readathon activities. Thus, it can be concluded that providing readathon activities has a significant effect on the reading interest of grade 8 students at SMP Negeri 2 Sumber. The need for interest in reading is an indicator of the variable interest in reading, many students consider books as a necessity. Meanwhile, enjoyment of reading is an indicator that has not been achieved, many students have not developed feelings of enjoyment in reading. Readathon activities that run well will foster students' interest in reading. This means that the more effective the readathon activities are, the more interest in reading will increase.
