Abstract

Technological advancement in information technology applications allows the data recording process to become easier. Putra Mariyo Trading Business is a business institution that sells wood as a building material in various types and sizes. Data processing of incoming and outgoing goods in this business is performed only by writing goods data into a specific book. Consequently, some problems such as the loss of data and miss calculation in processing transactions usually occur. Therefore, in this research, we design a system to address the problems. The system is developed by following the Waterfall software development method. To build the system, we opt to use PHP programming language, CodeIgniter framework, and MySQL as the database server. To determine system reliability, this information system testing uses black box testing which focuses on the functional requirements of the system. To evaluate the performance of the system two testing steps i.e., black-box testing and System Usability Scales (SUS) are adopted. Black-box testing results show that the error percentage of our system is 0%. The SUS testing is conducted to obtain responses from users and the SUS score obtained is 70.1 indicating that the system is at the "good" level and reliable to use.

Abstract

Jungsari Village is one of the villages in the Karanganyar area, with geographical conditions located in a mountain valley. Access to urban areas is about 5 km. The majority of the professions of the Jungsari community are farmers and housewives. This condition spurred a touch of innovation to improve the family economy and food security. The purpose of this service activity is to provide education to the Jungsari community to make hand soap using materials available in the surrounding environment and cassava processed innovations. This pandemic period makes people have to care about hand hygiene to minimize the presence of the COVID-19 virus. After the community was given education on making hand soap, and various processed cassava, the community was also taught how to market online so that it would increase family income. This activity can be a side activity apart from being a farmer.

Abstract

Presently, the complaining service in Kartasura local government relies on manual recording where people must come to the government office, write their complaints and submit them to the office staff. This situation causes inefficiency since people have to travel from their places to the local government office. Moreover, the manual recording makes the complaints cannot be managed properly since the same complaints can be submitted more than one time. Additionally, it also causes some confusion to the government staff since they need to carefully check whether it has been submitted previously and approve the complaints accordingly. To solve the issue, a web-based application complaint system is developed to reduce the number of the same complaints from the citizen as well as to help staff manage the complaints data. The Jaro-Winkler String Similarity algorithm is adopted to check the similarity of newly submitted complaints with existing complaints data. The algorithm detects similarities of newly submitted complaints by determining the level of string equality to the existing complaints. Experimental results using one month period of complaints data in December 2022 show that the application is able to detect the similarity between the newly submitted complaints to the existing complaints. As the value of similarity threshold is higher, the number of rejected complaints also increases. Meanwhile, the test results of the system using the System Usability Scale Score obtained an average value of 76.5, which means the system is included in the Acceptable category and can be used for daily activity.

Abstract

Abstract–The management of posyandu data in Majegan Village is still carried out manually. This causes health monitoring to be not optimal, especially in detecting stunting in toddlers. One of the efforts to overcome this problem is to provide a posyandu information system that can make it easier for posyandu officers to record and analyze fetal growth until toddlerhood and can detect symptoms of stunting. Through the implementation of Bayes' theorem in a web-based application, stunting symptoms can be observed earlier. Bayes' theorem calculates the values of the symptoms experienced by toddlers so as to obtain the results of probability numbers that can be used to predict stunting in toddlers. System design uses the waterfall method which goes through the stages of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). After the system was developed, to test the quality of the application and the accuracy of naïve bayes in predicting stunting, two types of testing were carried out, namely black box testing and system usability testing (SUS). The black box test results show that the application functionality runs well with an error percentage of 0%, while the SUS test results show that the application has a usability level at Level B which means the application can be used and help users. Meanwhile, the results of the prediction of naïve bayes produced the model with the highest prediction of 60%.

Abstract

Pengembangan aplikasi web membutuhkan arsitektur yang sederhana namun kuat dari sisi back-end sampai front-end. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut framework MERN Stack menjadi populer digunakan. Teknologi ini merupakan kombinasi dari beberapa layer seperi MongoDB, ExpresJS, ReactJS dan NodeJS yang berfokus pada satu bahasa pemrograman yaitu JavaScript. Implementasi MERN Stack pada studi kasus ini adalah untuk pengembangan dan implementasi sitem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) berbasis web pada SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Program Khusus Kartasura. Evaluasi kualitas sistem dilakukan dengan tiga metode testing yaitu black-box testing, system usability scale (SUS), dan page speed test. Hasil pengujian black-box menunjukan sistem memiliki fungsionalitas yang sesuai dengan prosentase kesalahan 0%. Sedangkan pengujian SUS menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 78,98 yang berarti aplikasi berada pada level acceptable dan bisa digunakan untuk kasus riil. Pengujian performa kecepatan akses web menggunakan Google page speed test dan GTmetrix menunjukan performa yang baik dengan nilai mencapai 73 dan waktu load rata-rata 7 detik.Web application development requires a simple yet robust architecture. Thus, MERN Stack framework has gaining popularity. MERN Stack combines several layers like MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS and NodeJS. The framework focuses on JavaScript programming language. The MERN Stack implementation in this case is for the development of a web-based Student Admissions (PPDB) system at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. System evaluation is carried out using three testing methods, namely black-box testing, system usability scale (SUS), and page speed test. The results of the black-box show that the system has perfect functionality with error percentage of 0%. Meanwhile, the SUS test shows an average value of 78.98 which means the application is acceptable and can be implemented. The performance of web access speed is evaluated using Google page speed test and GTmetrix. It shows good performance with a value reaching 73 and an average load time of 7 seconds.

Abstract

PPT. Mitra Gemah Sentosa merupakan perusahaan layanan jasa yang bergerak pada bidang transportasi angkutan barang berupa peti kemas yang berlokasi di Jakarta Utara. Tingginya aktivitas pengiriman barang, memicu kendaraan bekerja lebih berat dari biasanya. Pengawasan kendaraan yang diterapkan masih menggunakan media pencatatan sederhana. Hal ini mengakibatkan pengawasan terhadap kendaraan menjadi tidak terkontrol, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan kerusakan serta pembengkakan biaya operasional yang disebabkan penggantian komponen secara tidak terstruktur. Berdasarkan dari permasalahan yang terjadi, dibutuhkan sistem informasi monitoring kendaraan berbasis website sebagai media pengawasan terhadap penggantian suku cadang pada kendaraan. Pengembangan sistem monitoring kendaraan mengadopsi SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall. Hasil penelitian yang berupa sistem monitoring kendaraan selanjutnya diuji untuk menilai kualitasnya. Pengujian sistem melibatkan dua metode yaitu Black-box testing dan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Pengujian Black-box testing menunjukan hasil bahwa sistem memiliki fungsionalitas yang sesuai dengan persentase error sebesar 0%, artinya semua fungsionalitas dari sistem sudah sesuai dengan rancangan. Selanjutnya pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) memperoleh nilai 79,5 dengan tingkatan skala kelas grade C pada kategori acceptable (70-80) artinya sistem layak digunakan oleh user dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Toko Snack Fajar Jaya was a store that sold snacks in both bulk and retail. The store's current system still relied on manual bookkeeping, causing errors and uncertainties in data management and sales reports. To solve these problems, a mobile application called Mi-POS was developed using React Native to facilitate the development process. The application could record transactions, view transaction history, manage product inventory, and print receipts. The SDLC method was used in developing the application, and it was tested using Black-box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate its quality and effectiveness. Results from Black-box Testing showed that all features ran smoothly with an error rate of 0%. Meanwhile, SUS testing showed a score of 63.4, which falls in the "OK and usable" category.

Abstract

The application needs in the current digital era are very broad and varied. In its development, these applications undergo a transformation, thus demanding application developers to create applications that suit their devices. This study applies the concept of the reactive paradigm which is implemented into a multiplatform application system and the concept of clean architecture in the process of creating a simple note management application "MyNote". The concept of reactive programming uses Spring WebFlux on the backend and React.js with RxJs on the frontend. The multiplatform concept on Android is implemented in Webview. Performance analysis is conducted using the load test, and stress test. This research aims to provide information on how to implement the concept of multiplatform applications and reactive programming with the clean architecture development method for the MyNote application. In addition, it also can be used as a consideration in implementing this concept stack in production-ready products. This study succeeded in making the MyNote application using a combination of clean architecture, multiplatform, and reactive programming concepts with a percentage of 93,75% application of the concept, and 80% application development.

Abstract

Tabung gas elpiji menjadi salah satu kebutuhan primer masyarakat di Indonesia. Salah satu komponen pendukung faktor keselamatan dalam penggunaan tabung elpiji adalah karet perapat (rubber seal). Saat ini Pertamina melakukan outsourcing ke berbagai industri produksi karet untuk memenuhi kebutuhan suplai karet perapat tabung elpiji. CV Lingga Pratama sebagai salah satu industri yang menyuplai kebutuhan karet perapat masih menggunakan mesin press karet manual untuk memproduksi karet perapat tersebut. Kualitas dari karet perapat yang diproduksi menjadi sangat bergantung pada kelihaian operator dari alat press tersebut. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh pada kualitas karet perapat yang dibuat adalah suhu, tekanan, dan lama waktu press mesin terhadap bahan baku lembaran karet. Pada kesempatan kali ini telah dibuat suatu sistem yang terdiri dari mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino yang dapat melakukan pengukuran suhu secara contactless dengan menggunakan modul sensor suhu inframerah dan pengukuran tekanan dengan menggunakan load cell. Sistem ini dapat menampilkan nilai suhu yang terukur serta tekanan dari alat press melalui layar LCD kecil yang dapat dipantau oleh operator. Sistem juga akan memberitahukan operator melalui suara dari alarm apabila waktu yang telah ditentukan untuk melakukan proses press telah tercapai.

Abstract

Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Rahmawati Kholid adalah sekolah dasar untuk pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus di kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Berdasarkan observasi serta wawancara yang telah dilakukan, terdapat permasalahan di Sekolah tersebut, yaitu mengenai media pembelajaran maupun alat bantu yang masih sangat minim dan kurang menarik siswa. Pada saat ini, pembelajaran hanya 1 arah dari guru ke murid dengan alat bantu berupa buku dan papan tulis. Solusi yang dapat diberikan di SLB Rahmawati Kholid adalah dengan pengembangan teknologi pembelajaran berupa aplikasi game edukasi yang khusus bagi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus untuk mengatasi masalah media pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian terbagi menjadi beberapa tahap, yaitu analisis permasalahan (need assessment), perancangan aplikasi, implementasi aplikasi, pemaparan dan pelatihan kepada SLB Rahmawati Kholid, simulasi dan pengujian, serta maintenance dan follow up kepada mitra. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan yaitu terbangunnya beberapa aplikasi edugame yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa SLB untuk belajar secara mandiri.
