Abstract

This study aims to analyze and optimize the performance of the IDN Boarding School computer network using the SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) method. Computer network infrastructure in schools is an essential aspect that plays a key role in supporting the learning and management process. With rapid growth in usage and increasing network complexity, network performance often becomes a challenge. This research involved collecting data using SNMP to monitor and analyze network performance at IDN Boarding School, including measuring bandwidth usage, latency, and data transfer rates. The collected data is then analyzed in depth to identify weaknesses in the network that could potentially lead to unsatisfactory performance. Once the problem is identified, this study will recommend repair and optimization solutions including selecting appropriate hardware, optimal configuration, and implementing effective network management measures. SNMP methods will be used to track the implementation of innovative solutions and measure their impact on network performance. We hope that the results of this study will provide valuable information to IDN Boarding Schools on strategies to improve and optimize their networks. By implementing SNMP, schools can increase network resource efficiency, reduce network interference, and increase user satisfaction by up to 35%.

Abstract

The development of technology has increased the importance of certification in computer networking, such as the MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA). This certification is crucial for students who want to validate their skills and enhance their career prospects. However, predicting student graduation rates for the MTCNA certification presents various challenges, such as prior knowledge, study habits, and the complexity of the exam content. These factors can significantly affect the accuracy of predictions regarding student graduation rates. This study aims to address these issues by implementing the Naïve Bayes algorithm to predict student graduation rates for the MTCNA certification. The Naïve Bayes algorithm, known for its simplicity and effectiveness in classification problems, is expected to provide a more accurate predictive model. This study uses historical data on student performance and other relevant attributes. The results show that the Naïve Bayes model has an adequate prediction accuracy, with an accuracy rate of 91.70%. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for educators and students, thereby improving preparation strategies and success rates in the MTCNA certification exam.

Abstract

The administrative burden at the Semarang Regency Regional Secretariat office is one of the problems that needs attention, because effective and efficient public services are needed. The duties and functions of the regional secretariat are determined by Regent Regulation (Perbup) number 109 of 2021. Based on this regulation, there are vulnerabilities that will occur in the Semarang Regency Regional Secretariat agency to carry out ineffective and efficient public services. So that in this paper will examine more deeply the administration burden in the Regional Secretariat of Semarang District. The research method is carried out empirically by exploring data in the field and collecting data through interviews with Semarang Regency Regional Secretariat employees. The results of this study indicate the fact that the main problem of administrative burden in the Semarang district secretariat is the low regional budget given and the high responsibility between departments in the regional secretariat, causing employees to be unable to complete the given burden. The solution is done by increasing the regional budget of Semarang Regency and simplifying the bureaucracy in the tasks assigned in Regent regulation number 109 of 2021.

Abstract

The adoption of augmented reality (AR) spans various fields, from education to business. Currently, many businesses utilize AR to boost customer engagement and enhance product understanding. This research focuses on developing and examining an AR application on a Solo computer store’s website to improve customer engagement. Results indicate that AR significantly enhances the shopping experience, deepens product comprehension, and increases website interactions. Features like 3D product visualization and detailed information enable customers to make more informed purchasing decisions. A questionnaire with 25 respondents revealed a high acceptance rate of the AR application, averaging 92%. Additionally, AR was shown to increase customer engagement, potentially boosting sales by up to 35%, reducing operating costs by 20%, and enhancing productivity by 15%. The study also found differing preferences across age groups: older respondents (40-70 years) favored traditional website features without AR and were less comfortable with markerless technology, whereas younger consumers (18-39 years) were more attracted to AR-enhanced websites. These insights offer valuable guidance for the Solo computer store to craft innovative marketing strategies tailored to the diverse preferences and needs of their customers.

Abstract

Usaha teluria dengan konsep satu RW seribu Telur sudah merambah ke berbagai daerah namun sampai saat ini belum memiliki hak paten atas merek Teluria, sehingga resiko klaim pihak lain dapat terjadi dengan mudah. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pendamipngan pembuatan dan pengurusan hak paten atas Merek Teluria untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti klaim pihak lain dan penyalahgunaan merek dikemudian hari.Metode yang digunakan dengan penyuluhan dan diskusi untuk memberi pemahaman pentingnya paten bagi sebuah merek dan usaha. Keberlangsungan usaha menjadi prioritas utama sehingga merek menjadi sangat penting. Selain memberi pemahaman juga dilakukan pendampingan pembuatan dan pengurusan paten atas merek Teluria. Kegiatan diikuiti oleh 10 orang yang terdiri dari pihak Teluria, LPER dan structural serta dosen Universitas Insan Pembangunan. Hasil kegiatan berupa paten sederhana berupa merek Teluria dengan konsep Satu RW seribu Telur Teluria. Kegiatan ini dapat memberikan dampak nilai ekonomi selain dari peningkatan brand dari Teluria. Dengan adanya paten atas merek Teluria dengan konsep satu RW seribu Telur dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga dan beberapa keluarga dapat menjual sisa telur kepada masyarakat di sekitarnya sehingga ekonomi keluarga dapat meningkat dan berkembang.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) Plumbon merupakan satu dari sekian Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi, terdapat beberapa permasalahan di MIM Plumbon, antara lain : Bidang pendidikan, yaitu mengenai media pembelajaran alternatif maupun alat bantu untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yang masih sangat minim serta Bidang manajemen sekolah, yaitu mengenai pencatatan data sekolah terutama data siswa yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Solusi yang diberikan kepada MIM Plumbon antara lain: aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif berupa game edukasi untuk mengatasi permasalahan bidang pendidikan serta aplikasi pencatatan data sekolah dan peningkatan jaringan internet di sekolah untuk mengatasi permasalahan manajemen sekolah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pemecahan solusi tersebut antara lain: analisis, perancangan aplikasi, implementasi aplikasi, pemaparan dan pelatihan ke mitra, serta simulasi aplikasi dan maintenance. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan yaitu terbangunnya beberapa aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri, peningkatan jaringan internet di lingkungan sekolah, serta aplikasi pendataan siswa sekolah. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, permasalahan yang terjadi di bidang Pendidikan serta manajemen telah teratasi.

Abstract

This study aims to propose an educational game for newborns around 4 months old who do not yet know how to distinguish objects that should not be put in their mouths. This seems very normal when it occurs during this stage of life, but it should be encouraged with educational tools — because eating objects that are not food can cause choking or suffocation. AR technology provides an interactive and engaging learning environment by overlaying digital information on the physical environment. The game also uses Computer Vision technology such as Face Detection and Recognition to control user interaction based on body movements. By combining computer vision, the game provides a new and dynamic way to increase user engagement, introducing new opportunities for the development of interactive educational games for young children

Abstract

Alumni memiliki pengaruh penting terhadap suatu institusi pendidikan salah satunya yaitu sebagai produk yang dapat menggambarkan keberhasilan visi maupun misi yang diterapkan. Melihat pentingnya hal tersebut menjaga hubungan baik antara pihak sekolah dengan alumni merupakan suatu kewajiban. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan pihak sekolah untuk menjaga hal tersebut adalah dengan melakukan manajemen dan juga tracking data dari alumni. Namun dalam kenyataanya tidak semua sekolah memiliki sistem yang dapat memanajemen lulusanya sehingga muncul persepsi pihak sekola tidak memiliki peran teradap alumni maupun sebaliknya. Berdasarkan permasalaan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen alumni berbasis website dan melakukan analisis kualitas dari website menggunakan standar ISO 9126. Pengembangan website mengadopsi metode SLDC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan model waterfall. Sistem yang dikembangkan telah diuji kulitasnya dan diperoleh hasil uji functionality dengan nilai 1 (baik), uji efficiency menggunakan GTMetrix memperoleh hasil 85.8% (Grade B) dengan rata-rata waktu tunggu 2.5 detik, uji reliability dengan WAPT menperoleh hasil sebesar 99,62%, dan uji usability dengan hasil 79,05% (layak). Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen alumni yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Energi listrik memiliki fungsi yang sangat penting, hal ini disebabkan kemajuan teknologi, industry tidak bisa lepas penggunaan energi listrik. Tahun 2021 konsumsi listrik di Indonesia sebesar 1.123kWh dan pada tahun 2022 mencapai 1.173 kWh yang artinya konsumsi energi listrik di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan setiap tahunya. Kenaikan konsumsi energi listrik berdampak pada meningkatnya kebutuhan minyak bumi dan batu bara di Indonesia dikarenankan pembangkit yang terinstal masih konvensional antara lain PLTU, PLTG, PLTGU. Biaya operasional pembangkit tersebut akan mengalami kenaikan dan berkontribusi terhadap pemanasan global. Kemajuan teknologi mendorong penggunaan energi terbarukan sehingga dapat mengurangi kapasitas pembangkit konvensional dan pemasangan global. Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya  salah satu energi terbarukan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan energi listrik dari pembangkit konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini mendesain sistem memonitor energi listrik dan hidroponik secara real time. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa alat, antara lain peralatan yang diggunakan untuk memonitoring keseluruhan bagian seperti hasil listrik yang dihasilkan panel surya, listrik yang di konsumsi pompa hidroponik, ketinggian air kolam kolam dan kelembaban media tanaman karbohidrat. Panel surya yang digunakan berkapasitas 400 WP yang dihubungkan 2 seri dan 2 paralel, energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya disimpan pada battery dengan kapasitas 7,5Ah yang dikontrol menggunakan Sollar Charger Control 48V/60A. Beban yang digunakan adalah pompa air DC 12 volt 22 Watt untuk sirkulasi air hidroponik. Untuk sistem monitoring sensor water level digunakan untuk monitoring ketinggian air kolam, untuk tanaman karbohidrat menggunakan sensor soil mosture yang berfungsi untuk memonitor kondisi kelembaban media tanam. Dari beberapa parameter yang di monitoring akan dikirimkan ke device monitor menggunakan jaringan transmisi LoRa dan dikirim ke smartphone melalui jaringan internet. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa teknologi LoRa memiliki kemampuan 22 kali lebih kuat dibanding teknologi Wifi dalam pengiriman data.

Abstract

Coffee shops have evolved beyond being mere places to enjoy coffee; they have become social hubs and spaces for work or relaxation in the modern era. To address the growing competition and constant market changes, coffee shops must develop strategies to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency. One such strategy is implementing a web-based sales and ordering information system. This study examines the relevance and necessity of adopting information systems in the coffee industry, focusing on small to medium-sized coffee shops, thus addressing a gap in the existing literature. The Waterfall methodology was employed in system development, encompassing requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The requirement analysis phase identifies the system's functional and non-functional needs, while the design phase includes the creation of Use Case, Activity, Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams, and user interfaces. The system was implemented using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end, with PHP and the Laravel Framework for the back-end. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to ensure optimal performance. The system achieved a SUS score of 75.7, indicating good usability and user acceptance.
