Abstract

This research aims to determine green innovation on company sustainability and whether there is a tenured CEO who plays a moderating role. This research uses a sampling method in the form of non-probability sampling. The sampling technique used in this research used purposive sampling. The analytical method used in this research is a quantitative analysis method. The results of this research show that green innovation has a significant effect on company sustainability. Abstract

This research examines sustainable tourism in Indonesia, focusing on Ergo Green Tourism, a model that integrates ergonomic principles with green tourism. With the tourism sector significant economic contribution, there is a growing need for a model that balances environmental sustainability with tourist comfort. The research aims to evaluate the Ergo Green Tourism model by analyzing the relationships between Environmental Green Knowledge, Green Marketing, and Environmental Protection in promoting sustainability and improving tourism performance in Indonesia. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed. Data was gathered from MSMEs in key Indonesian tourist destinations through structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews, combining both quantitative and qualitative insights. The findings show that environmental protection and environmental knowledge positively influence green marketing, Ergo Green Tourism, and sustainability. Furthermore, green marketing significantly enhances the development of Ergo Green Tourism. This research highlights the importance of integrating green and ergonomic practices into tourism. It provides actionable insights for stakeholders, including MSMEs and policymakers, and suggests further research to refine the model and assess its long-term impact across different regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and financial behavior on the financial well-being of university students in Indonesia. The research adopts an explanatory quantitative approach with a sample of 150 undergraduate students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results show that financial literacy has a significant positive effect on students’ financial well-being (β = 0.452; p < 0.01), and financial behavior also has a significant positive effect (β = 0.375; p < 0.01). Together, both variables explain 62.3% of the variation in financial well-being (F = 122.317; p < 0.01). These findings indicate that financial literacy alone, without healthy financial behavior, is insufficient to improve financial well-being, and vice versa. Therefore, this study recommends the importance of financial education programs that not only focus on enhancing knowledge but also on fostering more disciplined financial behavior among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of funding policy on firm value with financial performance as a mediating variable in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019–2023 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method to test the relationship between variables using panel data analysis processed through the Eviews12 and SmartPLS applications. The independent variable in this study is funding policy proxied by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), while financial performance as a mediating variable is proxied by Return on Equity (ROE), and firm value as a dependent variable is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV). The research sample was obtained through a purposive sampling method and included 26 companies that met the criteria with a total of 130 observations over five years. The results of the study indicate that (1) funding policy has a negative effect on financial performance, (2) funding policy has a negative effect on firm value, (3) financial performance has a positive effect on firm value, and (4) financial performance is proven to mediate the effect of funding policy on firm value. These findings confirm that a disproportionate funding structure can depress profitability, thereby lowering the perceived value of a company in the market. While improved financial performance can strengthen the value of companies in the consumer goods industry sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Abstract

One of complex process known nowadays which involves production, delivery and services to consumers is supply chain. Supply chain often can be simplified and analyzed with simulations like Beer Distribution Game. In this research, we use an extended version of Beer Distribution Game, built by AnyLogic, and equipped with additional feature such as information sharing. This research uses a simulation experiment method, and from the experiment’s result we draw a conclusion based on the effect of SMA forecasting. It is shown that by adding SMA forecasting only at the Retailer unit, does not conclusively reduce the BDG’s Total Cost

Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan pondasi dasar untuk pembentukan akhlak al-karimah. Olehnya, akhlak sangat penting ditanamkan sejak dini dan perlu menjadi perhatian kita bersama. Sehingga, sebagai wujud kepedulian dan respon terhadap berbagai tantangan di era perkembangan IPTEKS modern ini, tim dosen dari Universitas Terbuka melakukan pengabdian yang dikemas dengan tema “Membangun Budaya Literasi dan Meningkatkan Jiwa rabbani pada Anak Pendidikan Dasar di daerah Sub Urban”. PkM ini berupa pentas literasi religi dan seni dengan tujuan untuk memotivasi anak usia dini agar semakin menumbuhkan akhlak kharimah dalam diri masing-masing. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bekerjasama dengan pengurus Mushollah Al-Kamila, Sawangan Depok, Jawa Barat. PkM ini diikuti oleh 43 peserta lomba dengan empat kelompok lomba yaitu adzan, hapalan surat pendek, dan lomba mewarnai tingkat SD dan TK. Kegiatan PkM terdiri dari tiga tahap kegiatan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, persiapan, dan impelementasi yang dilakukan selama 4 bulan dengan puncak kegiatan di Bulan April 2023 bertepatan dengan Bulan Ramadhan. Implementasi kegiatan ini diawali dengan Sambutan, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Edukasi terkait pentingnya menumbuhkan akhlak kharimah dalam pusaran kemajuan IPTEKS saat ini. Lalu berlanjut pada kegiatan ini yaitu pelaksanaan lomba atau pentas literasi religi dan seni beserta penjurian, dan pengumuman serta pemberian hadiah bagi pemenang. Kegiatan lalu ditutup dengan buka puasa bersama dan sholat magrib berjamaah. Kegiatan ini berlangsung lancar dan disambut sangat antusias oleh seluruh masyarakat Sub-Urban di daerah tersebut, baik dari anak-anak peserta lomba, para orang tua, maupun pengurus mushollah. Pada akhirnya, pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berupa pentas literasi religi dan seni ini diharapkan dapat semakin memotivasi anak usia dini agar semakin menumbuhkan akhlak kharimah.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the roles of income and saving behavior in household financial decision-making, with financial risk management as an intervening factor. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses survey data from 500 working individuals and applies a predictive composite modeling approach combining robust MM estimation and cross-validated regression to address non-normal behavioral finance data. Findings/Results: The results show that saving behavior has a strong positive effect on household financial decision-making and financial risk management. It also indirectly affects financial decision-making through financial risk management. Income has a positive but weaker effect. The interaction between income and saving behavior is significant, indicating that the effect of income becomes smaller when saving discipline is higher. The model explains 62.8% of the variance in household financial decision-making. Originality/Value: This study shows that household financial decisions are shaped not only by economic capacity but also by behavioral discipline. The findings suggest that strengthening saving behavior and financial risk management is more effective than relying on income alone.

Abstract

Background: Supply chain management is challenged by demand uncertainty, inventory inefficiency, and rising operational costs. Existing Beer Distribution Game (BDG) studies generally overlook competitive dynamics and consumer trust considerations. Objective: This study compares the financial performance of BDG scenarios using no forecasting, SMA, and EMA strategies under competitive conditions and evaluates their impact on consumer shifts. Methods: A quantitative simulation-based experimental approach was employed using a modified Beer Distribution Game model developed in AnyLogic. The model incorporated consumer trust dynamics and competition mechanisms. Three forecasting scenarios were tested through 5,000 simulation replications. Financial performance was measured using total operational costs across retailer, wholesaler, distributor, and factory units. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, followed by Bonferroni and Games-Howell post-hoc tests at a significance level of 0.05. Results: The results revealed significant differences among the three forecasting scenarios. The Single ES (EMA) strategy achieved the lowest average total operational cost (USD 1,163.07), significantly outperforming SMA (USD 1,771.21) and the no-strategy scenario (USD 1,810.81). EMA consistently reduced costs across all supply chain units, including retailer, wholesaler, distributor, and factory levels. However, EMA also generated the highest average consumer shift rate (32.90%), indicating a trade-off between cost efficiency and customer retention. The findings further suggest that adaptive forecasting improves supply chain stability and partially mitigates the bullwhip effect under competitive conditions. Conclusion: EMA offers superior cost efficiency, but should be complemented by customer retention strategies to ensure sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of employee performance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Jembrana Regency through the influence of motivation and competence, with performance allowances as a moderating variable. This study is motivated by the decline in the ASN Professionalism Index (IP) from 82.99 (2023) to 78.38 (2024), as well as the dynamics of online attendance discipline and functional competency gaps. Data were processed using a quantitative method with a Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis approach using a causal associative design with the population analysis unit and the research sample being all State Civil Apparatus employees (PNS and PPPK) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Jembrana Regency, totaling 80 respondents, using a saturated/census sampling technique. The results showed that motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t-statistic 2.450; p < 0.05). Competence was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on performance (t-statistic 2.684; p < 0.05). A crucial finding of this study is that performance allowances were shown to positively and significantly moderate the effect of motivation on performance (t-statistic 1.980; p < 0.05) and moderate the effect of competence on performance (t-statistic 1.974; p < 0.05). The R-square value of 0.682 indicates that this research model is able to explain 68.2% of employee performance variance, providing strategic implications for strengthening the meritocracy-based human resource management system within the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Abstract

The growing emphasis on environmental sustainability has driven the growth of green bonds as an important instrument in sustainable financing. This study conducted a comprehensive meta-analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of green bonds in supporting sustainable financing in various sectors and regions. By analyzing 20 peer-reviewed articles and empirical studies published between 2020 and 2024, the study synthesized quantitative findings to examine the influence between green bonds and key indicators of sustainable finance, including environmental impact, investor confidence, and financial performance. Data analysis with the help of JASP. The results show that green bonds significantly contribute to reducing carbon emissions and encouraging renewable energy projects, as well as attracting investors who care about the environment with a value (g = 0.937; p < 0.05). However, the analysis also reveals regional disparities in adoption and effectiveness, which are influenced by regulatory frameworks, market maturity, and institutional support. In addition, the study highlights challenges such as greenwashing and inconsistent reporting standards, which can reduce the credibility of green bonds.
