Abstract

The issues contributing to the unpopularity of public transportation include a limited railway network, inadequate service quality, and incomplete integration. Additionally, the willingness to utilize public transportation is frequently affected by factors influencing passenger satisfaction and trust in the system. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of the public transportation service model, and the policies enacted; hence, multiple variables were utilized in the analysis. Subjective quality; belief; passenger satisfaction; value perception; commuter preference; commuter loyalty; intention to repurchase. Commuter preference serves as an intermediary element influencing the relationship between Belief and Commuter loyalty, hence enhancing loyalty. This study employs Importance and Performance Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling utilizing the SMART PLS program, along with Focus Group Discussions to investigate the topic, based on a sample of 400 respondents. The analysis indicates that subjective quality, satisfaction, trust, preferences, and loyalty positively influence loyalty and significantly affect the intention repurchase. Nonetheless, value perception does not substantially affect commuter loyalty. Operators must concentrate on ensuring seamless train travel, elevated reliability, effective integration, and a cohesive ticketing system to enhance service performance.

Abstract

Abstract

Pediatric cancer patients are particularly vulnerable to oral health complications, primarily due to the adverse effects of chemotherapy. This treatment significantly influences both oral health and nutritional status, especially in children diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Chemotherapy can trigger a range of oral issues, including mucositis, dry mouth (xerostomia), and oral infections, which in turn can hinder proper nutritional intake and compromise overall health. This paper aims to investigate the impact of chemotherapy on oral health and nutrition in pediatric cancer patients, focusing on those with ALL. Through a literature review, the study examines the prevalence and types of oral complications and their effects on well-being. Relevant literature published between 2014 and 2024 was sourced from databases such as EBSCO, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, ProQuest, and Scopus. Using the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcomes) framework, articles were selected and critically appraised by two independent reviewers. A descriptive method was employed to analyze the data. Out of 2,465 initially identified articles, eight were selected for in-depth analysis. The findings show that pediatric cancer patients face both immediate and long-term oral health issues, including dental abnormalities and jaw development problems. These complications can cause pain, eating difficulties, and social stigma, negatively affecting the child's quality of life. The study emphasizes the need for early oral health intervention, better training for healthcare providers, and the development of standardized oral care protocols. Future research should aim to assess the effectiveness of targeted oral health interventions in improving nutrition and overall quality of life in pediatric oncology patients.

Abstract

The mining industry faces increasing pressure to balance financial performance with environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure and operational efficiency on financial performance, as well as to examine the role of Green Innovation as a moderating variable in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2023. Financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), capital structure is measured by Equity Ratio (ER), operational efficiency is assessed through Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and green innovation is measured based on sustainability reporting indicators (GRI). This research adopts a quantitative approach using the WarpPLS analysis method. The results of the analysis indicate that capital structure has a positive and significant effect on ROA, and operational efficiency also has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Furthermore, green innovation is found not to moderate the effect of capital structure on ROA, but does moderate the effect of operational efficiency on ROA in a positive and significant direction. These findings indicate that green innovation plays an important role in strengthening or weakening the relationship between internal financial variables and the company's financial performance. Therefore, mining sector companies are advised to consider integrating green innovation into their financial strategies to enhance long-term sustainability and profitability.
