Abstract

In organizing train operations in Indonesia, especially in Java, apart from planning, controlling and evaluating train operations under normal/ordinary conditions, based on existing data and experience, several planning and control scenarios are needed for special conditions/services, handling critical situations, also handling emergencies. In terms of regulations (determination & announcement) of train operations, in the form of GAPEKA for normal circumstances, MALKA, PPK and WAM scenarios are also prepared as alternative regulations outside GAPEKA (PT Kereta Api Indonesia Service Regulation No. 19 of 2011). In everyday life, apart from these scenarios, anticipation is also needed to provide guidelines for handling them, so that they support the train travel operation scenarios. In order to provide references, guidelines, flow and supporting resources on how to deal with several of these situations, both predictable, incidental and unexpected, then the plan for handling special situations must be formulated properly and completely and in accordance with various possible circumstances. The formulation of handling special situations is important. Handling these special situations is still different for special, critical or emergency situations/services

Abstract

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to address the needs of the congregation of St. Leo Agung Parish, East Jakarta, in enhancing and realizing a sacred and tranquil prayer garden as a means of devotion to Mary, Mother of the Redeemer. Stemming from the church's existing but unrealized master plan, this project faced the primary challenges of a limited land area of 67.20 m², coupled with the necessity to preserve existing trees. Through a collaborative approach, this PkM activity focused on two core areas: prayer garden planning and construction management. In the planning phase, the PkM team developed a prayer garden design embodying the concept of "Simplicity and Naturalness" within a spiritual space that reflects the humble character of Mary, the Praying Mother. This stage encompassed site identification, concept coordination, garden design creation, and the preparation of construction documents. In the construction management domain, the team provided comprehensive guidance, from selecting the implementing contractor and supervising quality and execution timelines, to finalizing construction and inaugurating the prayer garden, an event graced by the presence of the Archbishop of Jakarta, Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo. The outcome of this activity is the realization of the Our Lady of the Redeemer Prayer Garden, which has been inaugurated and blessed by the Archbishop of Jakarta, Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo. This prayer garden now serves as a spiritual space that enriches the faith of the congregation, reflects the simplicity and naturalness of the Virgin Mary, and demonstrates successful collaboration in creating an inspiring space. Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the impact of differences in passenger volume between weekdays and weekends on the operational patterns of the Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT). The research aims to understand how fluctuations in passenger numbers influence service scheduling and resource allocation for urban mass transportation efficiency. Research Methodology: A quantitative approach was employed using descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical testing to evaluate passenger volume data. The analysis focused on the period from November 2024 to April 2025. The Mann-Whitney U test was applied to compare weekday and weekend passenger volumes, which were found to fluctuate significantly—exceeding 50% differences between the two periods. Results: Statistical calculations revealed that the Mann-Whitney U test value was 0.000 (assumed 0.0001) with a Z-score of -11.221, and the significance value (Asymp. Sig 2-tailed) was also 0.000 (<0.05). These results indicate that the difference in passenger volume between weekdays and weekends is statistically significant. Conclusions: The findings highlight that the LRT Jabodebek operation pattern must differentiate between weekday, weekend, and special event (e.g., New Year’s Eve, national football matches) schedules to align with fluctuating passenger volumes. Limitations: The research was limited to six months of passenger data, which may not capture annual seasonal variations or special public holidays. Contribution: This study contributes to the understanding of how passenger volume fluctuations influence operational patterns in urban mass transport systems. It offers practical recommendations for operators to design adaptive and cost-efficient service schedules that enhance service quality and passenger satisfaction.

Abstract

Construction projects are inherently complex and highly susceptible to variations in cost due to discrepancies in work volumes across technical design documents such as Detail Engineering Design (DED), Shop Drawing (SD), and As-Built Drawing (AD). These discrepancies often arise from design adjustments, field conditions, or execution errors, which in turn affect budget accuracy and project efficiency. Such inconsistencies in volume are particularly critical in structural works like reinforcement and concrete, as these elements account for a substantial portion of total project costs. When changes in volume occur, the corresponding cost implications must be accurately estimated to maintain financial control and avoid cost overruns. This research aims to quantitatively predict the effect of volume deviations on cost variations using simple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from nine building samples that had complete documentation of DED, SD, and AD. The study focuses on structural work units with measurements in kilograms (kg) and cubic meters (m³). Regression models were assessed based on statistical indicators such as the coefficient of determination (R²), p-value, intercept, and regression coefficients to determine the most reliable model. The results show that every additional 1 kg of reinforcement volume increases the cost by Rp19,303.00, while every additional 1 m³ of concrete adds Rp1,321,597.14 to the project cost. Both models achieved R² = 1.00, indicating perfect predictive accuracy in estimating cost variations due to volume changes. Manual validation confirmed that the predicted values were nearly identical to actual data with a negligible error rate. These results confirm that simple linear regression is a powerful yet practical analytical tool for predicting construction costs. The model developed in this study provides a scientific foundation for improving cost estimation accuracy, supporting effective budget planning, and mitigating financial risks in construction projects.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has encouraged an increasing number of studies on sentiment analysis to better understand public perceptions and opinions. This study aims to evaluate the performance of three machine learning algorithms—Naïve Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Random Forest—in classifying user review sentiments toward the game Honor of Kings. The dataset was collected from the Google Play Store, consisting of 900 reviews. The data then underwent preprocessing steps including cleaning, case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and sentiment labeling into positive and negative classes. Furthermore, three word embedding techniques were applied, namely Word2Vec, GloVe, and FastText, each of which was tested across the three machine learning algorithms. The experimental results indicate that the use of word embedding features significantly improves classification accuracy compared to models without embedding features. KNN combined with FastText achieved the best performance, reaching an accuracy of 87.55%, while Random Forest combined with FastText produced the lowest accuracy. FastText demonstrated superior performance due to its ability to represent words through subword information, making it more effective in handling rare vocabulary and large-scale datasets. This study confirms that combining machine learning classification methods with word embedding features plays a crucial role in improving sentiment analysis performance. Future research may focus on hyperparameter optimization, the application of more advanced preprocessing techniques, and dataset expansion to develop more robust models with better generalization capability.
