Abstract

This research aims to produce android-based (thunkable) physics learning media on work and energy materil as a form of utilizing tecnology to assist educators in delivering learning material. With this android-based (thunkable) learning media, students can learn while at school or while studying at home. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D approach including Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, based on validation carried out by 3 media experts and 3 material experts, each of which had an average score of 84.2% (by media experts) and an average score of 81% (by material experts), it can be councluded that android-based learning media (tunkable) is feasible and very practical for users to use. In this android-based (thunkable) learning media product, researchers developed and applocation that contains objectives, material and examples questions, videos, simulation and also learning evaluations to make it easier for users to understand the material presented.

Abstract

Along with advances in information technology, the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School Foundation still relies on managing personnel data manually without adopting a personnel management information system. This research aims to design a personnel information system that includes employee data management, including rank, leave applications, attendance, further studies, and monitoring of employee performance. In this research, the methodology used is Extreme, which is used to model process flow. In contrast, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) are used to model data flow in a system, helping to clearly describe processes, data, and interactions between system components. The system development method used is extreme programming. Then, the system will be tested using the Black Box Testing method. The results show that the system is 100% valid and 100% compatible.

Abstract

Latar belakang masalah, kompetisi bisnis e-commerce sepatu yang semakin ketat mendorong pentingnya optimalisasi User Interface (UI) untuk menarik minat konsumen. Studi ini mengeksplorasi pengembangan interface design yang efektif melalui tools Figma pada online store Toko Sneakersku. Tujuan utama penelitian, mencakup peningkatan kualitas tampilan website dan optimalisasi tingkat penjualan. Metode penelitian, kualitatif deskriptif digunakan melalui analisis content dari berbagai social media platform untuk mengidentifikasi kecenderungan preferensi konsumen, serta evaluasi comparative study terhadap kompetitor e-commerce sejenis untuk mengekstrak design pattern terbaik. Hasil penelitian, implementasi design approach yang mengutamakan kebutuhan visual user experience, didukung sistem navigasi yang mudah dipahami, penataan element yang harmonis, dan konsistensi graphic interface, terbukti efektif meningkatkan user engagement dan menciptakan tampilan yang lebih profesional. Kesimpulan, kontribusi penelitian ini menghasilkan framework design UI untuk e-commerce platform yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan tren pasar sepatu digital

Abstract

Abstrak . Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut siswa tidak hanya sebagai pengguna, tetapi juga sebagai pengembang solusi visual melalui perangkat lunak desain. Adobe XD, sebagai alat prototipe UI/UX yang banyak digunakan di industri, menawarkan peluang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain siswa dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan Adobe XD dalam membangun kreativitas dan keterampilan desain antarmuka pengguna (UI) mahasiswa Informatika Universitas Nurul Huda. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan desain studi kasus instrumental, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi desain produk, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 20 mahasiswa yang mengikuti pelatihan intensif. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman, ketertarikan, serta kendala teknis dalam penggunaan Adobe XD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi untuk mempelajari Adobe XD, meskipun sebagian besar belum memiliki pengalaman sebelumnya. Pelatihan berbasis proyek desain ulang website institusi mendorong siswa memahami struktur desain digital secara menyeluruh dan mengembangkan prototipe interaktif yang mencerminkan alur navigasi sesungguhnya. Kendala utama ditemukan pada akses perangkat dan jaringan internet yang belum merata. Kesimpulannya, integrasi Adobe XD dalam pembelajaran desain UI memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi kreatif dan teknis mahasiswa, serta menjadi model pembelajaran aplikatif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri digital saat ini. Abstract

Open Journal System (OJS) merupakan platform yang umum digunakan institusi untuk melakukan manajemen artikel karya ilmiah. OJS memiliki fitur yang sangat berlimpah, sehingga bagi pengguna baru memerlukan waktu yang cukup banyak untuk mempelajari jika dilakukan secara mandiri. STIT Nurussalam merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi baru yang membutuhkan pelatihan pengelolaan dalam memanajemen karya ilmiah berbasis OJS. Sebelum dilakukan pelatihan, STIT Nurussalam hanya memiliki satu jurnal dan juga baru memiliki satu issu terbitan saja dengan pengelolaan terbitan yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk membantu pengelola jurnal dalam meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen pengelolaan jurnal dengan baik dan cepat. Agar kedepannya jurnal yang dikelola dapat di manajemen sesuai dengan kaidah semestinya dan sesuai dengan standar akreditasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses pelatihan ini tersusun menjadi tiga tahapan, yaitu analisis situasi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Tahap analisis adalah dimana dilakukan proses investigasi terhadap jurnal yang telah dimiliki, tahap implementasi adalah dimana dilakukan proses pelatihan, dan tahap evaluasi adalah dimana untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pelatihan ini mendapat respon baik atau buruk.Setelah dilakukan pelatihan selama dua hari, saat ini semua program studi di bawah perguruan tinggi STIT Nurussalam masing-masing telah memiliki jurnal secara mandiri dan dapat diakses secara online. Pengelola jurnal telah mampu dalam melakukan kustomisasi tampilan, serta telah mampu melakukan pengelolaan dengan baik dan benar dari mulai proses pengiriman naskah artikel sampai dengan terbit sesuai dengan standar akreditasi. Dari evaluasi, juga didapatkan hasil bahwa rata-rata 98,57% peserta merasa sangat puas dengan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan. Dari respon peserta juga mengharapkan akan ada kegiatan-kegiatan lainnya yang serupa. Setelah meninjau hasil implementasi pelatihan yang telah dilakukan serta evaluasi yang di dapatkan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan telah berhasil dalam meningkatkan manajemen pengelolaan jurnal yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan kaidah semestinya.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in conjunction with the Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Nurul Huda students in Karang Melati Village, Semendawai Timur District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. The purpose was to empower the community through the establishment of family herbal gardens (TOGA) as an effort to raise awareness of preventive health and the utilization of home yards. The activity employed a participatory method involving village officials, youth organizations (Karang Taruna), and women’s groups (PKK). The initial stage consisted of socialization on the benefits of herbal plants for health and their economic potential, followed by collective planting of ginger, turmeric, and lemongrass in a designated village area. This planting served as both a symbolic action and an important momentum to foster collective awareness of utilizing local potential. The results showed strong community enthusiasm, indicated by the active involvement of 20 households and increased understanding of the benefits of TOGA. In conclusion, the establishment of family herbal gardens has strengthened mutual cooperation, built health independence, and opened opportunities for developing a community-based herbal economy in Karang Melati Village.

Abstract

This training aims to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) literacy among junior high school teachers at SMP Negeri 2 OKU Timur through a participatory and hands-on approach. The program was motivated by the low level of understanding and utilization of AI technology in schools, especially in non-urban areas. The implementation method included needs assessment, material delivery, practical use of AIPRM-GPT, Gamma, and inVideo applications, and evaluation through pretest and posttest. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of AI concepts and applications, as indicated by an improvement in scores from an average of 2.7–3.7 to 3.2–4.0. The training also provided reflective and collaborative experiences for both participants and the implementation team. The implications of this activity indicate that AI training can drive digital transformation in schools and enhance the competencies of teachers and students as change agents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce android-based physics teaching materials using MIT App Inventor that are feasible to use and can increase students' interest in learning MA Pondok Pesantren Sabilil Muqorobin Suka Agung using android-based application teaching materials on temperature and heat material. This research was conducted using the (Research and Development) method. The development model used refers to the ADDIE development model, namely (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluate). The final product produced has met the validity criteria with an average score from the Material Expert Feasibility Test getting a percentage of 88.22%, Very valid qualifications, and very feasible feasibility criteria, and the media expert feasibility trial getting a value of 86.66%, Very valid qualifications, and very feasible feasibility criteria. Based on the results of student responses to the trial of Android-based application learning media obtained a percentage of 87.09% and stated high so that it can increase students' interest in learning after using Android-based learning media. It is expected that further researchers can create offline-based learning media. So that it can be accessed by students and teachers offline

Abstract

Pest attacks on agricultural land often result in a significant decrease in crop yields. This study aims to develop an IoT-based pest repellent system integrating ultrasonic waves and remote control. The method involves an ESP32 microcontroller, a PIR sensor, and a PAM8403 amplifier with a piezoelectric tweeter. The system was evaluated through laboratory calibration and real-field implementation in East OKU. This device features automatic mode (ultrasonic triggers >20 kHz) and manual mode via the Blynk application. Quantitative results show a maximum detection range of 5 meters with a 110-degree coverage angle. The system achieves a stable 30 kHz output and real-time notifications with an average latency of less than 1 second. IoT integration enables farmers to monitor and control the device remotely, increasing crop protection efficiency in dynamic rice field environments.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is an essential skill in physics education, as students must understand scientific principles, interpret evidence, and apply knowledge to real-world issues. In Indonesia, however, scientific literacy among students remains a concern, evidenced by low PISA science scores and predominantly teacher-centered classroom practices. This study aimed to analyze the effect of integrating the STEM approach into the Discovery Learning model on eleventh-grade students’ scientific literacy in the topic of temperature and heat. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design was employed at MA Nurul A'la Jatimulyo II during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The participants were 58 eleventh-grade science students. The experimental class (n = 29) learned through STEM-integrated Discovery Learning (DL-STEM), whereas the control class (n = 29) received conventional instruction. Scientific literacy was measured using a 25-item multiple-choice test developed from five indicators: explaining scientific phenomena, using scientific evidence, identifying scientific statements, understanding phenomena, and solving problems. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, assumption tests, the Mann–Whitney test for initial equivalence, an independent-samples t-test for posttest comparison, effect size r, and N-Gain analysis. The results indicated that both groups had comparable baseline abilities. Post-intervention, the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group, with mean scores of 64.69 versus 53.93 (p < 0.001), and demonstrated a moderate effect size (r = 0.47). Moreover, N-Gain analysis revealed improvements across all scientific literacy indicators in the experimental group, categorized as moderate and surpassing those of the control group. The novelty of this study lies in mapping STEM components onto the Discovery Learning syntax through a simple thermos engineering task in temperature-and-heat instruction. These findings indicate that DL-STEM can support students in connecting physics concepts, scientific evidence, and engineering design, thereby contributing to scientific literacy-oriented physics education.
