Abstract

The existence of a dichotomy for students in the classroom makes transferring knowledge from teachers to students an inequality that runs ineffectively due to the difference between intelligent and unintelligent students, especially in learning Islamic education. This study analyzes learning innovations based on multiple intelligences (MI) in Islamic education subjects. This study is qualitative in nature, uses a library research approach, and the data analysis used is a descriptive-qualitative analysis. The data sources employed are from previous relevant research on multiple intelligence (MI)-based learning, such as international and national journals. However, Howard Gardner, a psychologist from Harvard University, adopted the study. This study revealed awareness that every student born into this world has their own uniqueness, which has the right to be recognized and appreciated in their learning environment and in developing their potential. Multiple intelligence (MI)-based learning is a form of learning innovation that can be an option for Islamic education teachers in Indonesia. Implementing multiple intelligences (MI)-based learning is intended to accommodate students' diverse intelligences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the learning of Islamic Religious Education by using multimedia and the obstacles in learning Islamic religious education at Muhammadiyah Kupang Vocational High School. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Descriptive research is research that aims to describe a symptom, event, or incident that is happening now. The approach used is qualitative. Qualitative research examines the perspective of participants with interactive and flexible strategies. While data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. After the collected data is analyzed by analyzing data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: the teacher uses multimedia technology such as video players, pictures, power points as well as computer/laptop technology and telecommunication technology, the teacher carries out the PAI learning process according to the learning theory lesson plans. The obstacles faced by teachers are that teachers must be extra in supervising the use of information and communication technology. Besides that, teachers who are too old must always upgrade their knowledge regarding the use of multimedia.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which continues to grow rapidly and unstoppably, so it has a big influence on the spread of Islamic religious knowledge. The open learning course is a system that will be developed for the current era. However, Islamic educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools, still maintain the classical world of learning? The purpose of this article is to assess the perceptions of managers of Islamic educational institutions, especially at Ma'had Al-Ittihad Islami Camplong, regarding online-based open learning courses. The method used is qualitative with observation and distributing questionnaires to collect data. The results show that the majority of administrators at Ma'had Al-Ittihad Islami Camplong prefer to maintain traditional learning models rather than trying to adopt open learning courses, due to a lack of references and understanding regarding open learning courses. Therefore, socialization efforts are needed regarding open learning courses and the importance of spreading Islamic religious knowledge that is brsanad and mutawatir (continued) in the current context.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of Islamic education from the perspective of two important figures in the history of Islamic education in Indonesia, namely KH. Ahmad Dahlan and Buya Hamka. Through a comparative study approach, this article aims to identify similarities and differences in the educational views and practices held by the two figures. KH. Ahmad Dahlan, founder of Muhammadiyah, is known for his modern and progressive educational concept, which integrates religious knowledge with general knowledge. Meanwhile, Buya Hamka, a Muslim scholar, writer and thinker, emphasized the importance of morals and spirituality in education. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis to explore the thoughts and works of these two figures, including their writings, lectures and educational practices. The results of the study show that although there are differences in their approaches, they both have the same goal, namely to form Muslim individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable and have noble character. It is hoped that this article can contribute to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia by integrating the values promoted by these two figures.

Abstract

This research aims to: to find out the Concept of Islamic Education according to Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and its relevance to providing inclusive learning in the mardeka curriculum to find out the Concept of Islamic Education according to Ahmad Syafi'i Ma'arif, and its relevance to providing inclusive learning in the mardeka curriculum To find out the Islamic Education Concept of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and Ahmad Syafi'i Ma'arif as well as its relevance to providing inclusive learning in the mardeka curriculum. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, that is, the data collected is in the form of words, images, not numbers.  The research approach used is a qualitative research approach.  The primary sources in this research are works written by the figures studied themselves, in this research are Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas and Ahmad Syafi'i Ma'arif. The research results show that the concept of Islamic education according to Al-Attas leads to the value of content in Islamic education. Where in the concept Al-Attas uses the concept of ta'adib. The concept prioritizes good manners or good human behavior. Ahmad Syafi'i Ma'arif's thinking about the concept of education is relevant to the free learning curriculum. This is based on the first, the educational goals initiated by Ahmad Syafi'i Ma'arif view that in essence it seeks to create students who have character and competence that is useful for society.

Abstract

Kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an merupakan salah satu capaian yang diharapkan oleh siswa Pondok Tahfidz. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan menghafal seseorang. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Regresi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa PPTQ Al-Rasyid kelas VII-IX yang berjumlah 121 orang. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan metode kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Deskriptif Analisis, dan Uji Regresi Linear Sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa (1) tingkat Kecerdasan Emosional Siswa PPTQ Al-Rasyid masuk dalam kategori “Baik”. Hal ini didasari oleh rata-rata skor Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR) variabel Kecerdasan Emosional 62 % dan rata-rata skor Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR) variabel Kemampuan Menghafal Al-Qur’an sebesar 67 %. (2) Variabel Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kemampuan Menghafal Al-Qur’an Siswa. (3) Semakin tinggi tingkat Kecerdasan Emosional seseorang maka akan semakin baik Kemampuan Menghafal Al-Qur’annya. Hal ini berdasarkan pada t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (9,421 > 0,1786). Sehingga Ha diterima sedangkan Ho ditolak, karena terdapat pengaruh signifikan variabel X terhadap variabel Y, atau secara parsial variabel Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kemampuan Menghafal Al-Qur’an Siswa PPTQ Al-Rasyid Kartasura.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural Islamic education, identify the challenges faced in teaching multicultural Islamic education, and understand teachers' strategies to overcome these challenges. This study reveals that implementing multicultural Islamic education involves the integration of religious values with a deep understanding of culture and diversity. The main challenges include traditional performance, a lack of human resources who understand this concept, socio-cultural opposition, political aspects, globalization, radicalism, and differences in views about religion and the state. Teachers have a significant role in overcoming this challenge by providing learning materials that positively reflect group differences, using multicultural textbooks, and implementing cooperative learning strategies. In addition, teachers need flexibility in adapting learning methods according to students' abilities and instilling multicultural values. The application of multicultural Islamic education has great potential for creating an inclusive, harmonious learning environment and reducing prejudice and discrimination to achieve a more inclusive society and respect for diversity.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1) how the tasmi' and juz'i methods are applied in improving the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tahfizhul Qu'an Wonopringgo, 2) the application of the tasmi' and juz'i methods effective in improving the quality memorizing the Qur'an at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tahfizhul Qu'an Wonopringgo, 3) what factors support and hinder the implementation of the tasmi' and juz'i methods at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tahfizhul Qu'an Wonopringgo. This research includes field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis for this research includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification of conclusions. The results of this research show 1) the application of the tasmi' and juz'i methods at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tahfizhul Qu'an Wonopringgo is structured and well, 2) the tasmi' and juz'i methods are effective methods to apply because they can improve the quality of memorization, 3) the achievement of the tasmi' and juz'i methods are influenced by inhibiting and supporting factors. Supporting factors include motivation from the people around you, a strong will to achieve targets, a conducive environment, and a structured schedule. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include laziness, lack of time management, and lack of self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between learning aqidah akhlak on the assertive behavior of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong Sragen. Learning aqidah akhlak is a set of learning that gives direction or guidance to students by referring to Islamic values and teachings so that students have commendable behavior following Islamic teachings. Assertive behavior is a person's expressing his opinions and feelings without hurting others, including respecting others, being honest, and daring to argue. This type of research is quantitative research with a Regression approach. The population in this study was 85 grade X students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong Sragen. Data collection in this study was by questionnaire method. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression processed with the help of the SPSS 27 for Windows program. The results showed that (1) Learning aqidah akhlak SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong Sragen as evidenced by analyzing questionnaires totaling 70 respondents was in the medium category, namely 64.3%. (2) Assertive behavior as evidenced from the test analysis totaling 70 respondents was in the medium category of 70%. (3) There is a significant influence between the learning of aqidah akhlak on the assertive behavior of grade X students at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong Sragen with a t-count value of > t table of 3,962 > 0.67811. So that H₁ is accepted, there is a significant influence between the implementation of aqidah akhlak learning on the assertive behavior of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong Sragen.   Keywords: Education, Aqidah Akhlak Education, Assertive Behavior of Students

Abstract

Purpose: To chart the progress and trajectory of differentiated learning research in Scopus database-indexed publications from 1954 - 2023. The first publication was found in 1994. Methodology: Using bibliometric analysis method. A literature review was performed to ensure that relevant research on bibliometric topics was conducted. A Boolean search engine was utilized to search the Scopus database from 1954 to 2023. The analysis of citations, document content, and networks was carried out using R and Rstudio tools, VosViewer, and Microsoft Excel. Using the Boolean operator TITLE-ABS-KEY (differentiated and learning) to search Scopus and generate 7,012 documents. Filtering is done with the Boolean operator (LIMIT-TO (SUBJAREA, "soci")) AND (LIMIT TO (DOCTYPE, "ar")) AND (LIMIT-TO (SRCTYPE, "j")) AND (LIMIT TO (LANGUAGE, "English")) for social science field restrictions, source documents are only journals and articles in English, resulting in 1. 425. analysis using Scopus, R, and Rstudio to determine the number of articles per year, per journal, author, affiliation, country, and topic/sector. To visualize using VOSviewer and Microsoft Excel data processing. Results: 848 publications matched the function, subject, and criteria set. Annual growth rate of 7.33%, most publications in 2022 by US country with affiliation from University of Toronto US. Jordan J was the most prolific author. Applications/Originality/Value: This bibliometric analysis is limited to Scopus data. Other national and international databases should have been considered in this study. This research offers a concise summary of the available literature for researchers engaged in differentiated learning and offers suggestions for future research endeavors.
