Abstract

This study uses bibliometric analytic approaches to analyses all publications indexed in the Scopus database on critical discussion from 1929 to 2023 to trace the evolution and direction of critical discussion research on Scopus-indexed publications. The data obtained were analysed using Excel and R/R-Studio. VOSviewer analyses the simultaneous occurrence of keywords and document citations visually. The author found 502 publication data that match the function, subject, and criteria that have been set. The results of this study show an annual growth rate of 5.28%, with the publication of the most data in 2022 graphical analysis. The United States is the country that contributes the most publications affiliated with The University of British Columbia. Valcke, M. Become the most prolific writer in critical discussion themes. The bibliometric analysis performed was limited to Scopus data. Other national and international databases should have been considered in the study. This study presents a brief overview of the literature accessible to researchers working in education and provides recommendations for future research.

Abstract

Purpose: The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the card sort learning method in improving students’ cognitive students in Kemuhammadiyahan learning at Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta High School, Indonesia. Methodology: This research is quantitative by the environment, and the data was gathered through the use of questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Descriptive analysis and basic linear regression tests were employed to analyze the data. Results: The outcome of this investigation proves that the level of student perspective towards the card sort learning method and the learning achievement of students in the Muhammadiyah subject are in a positive category. The findings of the average mean score demonstrate the Muhammadiyah subject perceived level at 45.41% and the card sort method perceived level at 43.2%. The partial t-test (t = 8.276, p = 0.000) shows that the total cart sort learning method is linked to the overall learning outcomes of Muhammadiyah studies. The results of the significant prediction equation are built as Total Kemuhammadiyahan Learning = 0.933 + 0.129 (Total Card Sort Method). It can be possible to deduce that Ho is rejected and Ha is somewhat accepted, and therefore the card sort method significantly improves and predicts students' cognitive achievement in Muhammadiyah studies. Applications/Originality/Value: According to the study’s result, a card-sort learning method can be used effectively to improve students' cognitive aspects while learning Muhammadiyah studies. This study makes a significant contribution to the understanding of the card sort learning method as an effective instrument to develop the student’s cognitive abilities in learning Muhammadiyah studies.

Abstract

Purpose: Traning seamolec is an institution under the auspices of SEAMOE (Organization of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education) which facilitates research, improvement, courses and technology exchange within and outside the field of offline education and distance education (online) throughout Southeast Asia. The Ardhya Garini Foundation (YASARINI) which houses Space Schools throughout Indonesia including Sekolah Angkasa Lanud Adi Soemarmo collaborates with SEAMOE to facilitate teachers in improving TPACK skills through the seamolec training program. This research uses a qualitative research paradigm. In technical data collection using observation, interviews, and analysis. In this study, researchers used source triangulation techniques and trianggulation techniques to obtain valid data results. The result of this research is that seamolec training activities attended by Angksa Lanud Adi Soemamo school teachers succeeded in improving TPACK capabilities in the era of society 5.0. So that in the implementation of learning teachers can integrate pedagogical abilities and content into technology. In this way, it can be seen that the Angkasa Lanud Adi Soemarmo school teachers have qualified professionalism because they are able to keep up with technological developments in the era of society 5.0 through seamolec training.

Abstract

Desa Planjan di wilayah Kecamatan saptosari, Kabupaten gunungkidul, merupakan sebuah desa yang saat ini menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kesadaran religiusitas berbasis nilai-nilai Agama Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam hal qurban serta perilaku sosial masyarakat. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra berkaitan dengan beberapa hal berkaitan dengan kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam melaksanakan ibadah qurban, Kurangnya edukasi terkait tata cara berqurban yang benar, Menurunya semangat pemuda di desa planjan dalam mengikuti kegiatan positif didesa. Tujuan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah menigkatnya partisipasi masyarakat dan pemahama ibadah qurban baik dari segi agama atau sosial, terbentuknya kebiasaan positif dikalangan remaja, Peningkatan rasa memiliki dan komitmen dalam perancangan dan perencanaan . Dampak yang diharapkan adanya program tersebut diharapkan mitra dapat membentuk kesadaran perilaku sosial masyarakat melalui spirit qurban. Metode pelaksanaan program PKM yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi, diskusi dan pelatihan. Target PKM yang diharapkan yaitu menigkatnya semangat dari semua elemen di padukuhan planjan baik dari masyarakat maupun dari pemuda di padukuhan planjan mengenai spirit dari qurban untuk sesama.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasi nilai-nilai ISMUBA sebagai praktik pendidikan holistik dan integratif kepada Masyarakat Desa Lemusir dan dilaksanakan melaui kegiatan Pesantren Ramadhan 2023 di Masjid binaan Nurul Hadi Lemusir Pabelan, Sukoharjo. Secara letak geografis, letak Desa Lemusir adalah ditengah tengan daerah ramai perkotaan akan tetapi beberapa waktu belakanga ini motivasi dakwah dan pembinaan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan di Desa lemusir dengan berbagai macam kegiatan dakwahnya bisa dikatakan masih sangat terbatas. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari frekuensi kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan dan dakwah Islam masih sangat berfokus kepada acara formal dan ceremonial yang di laksanaakan oleh beberapa organisasi-organisasi di Desa Lemusir. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perluasan dakwah yang intens yang bisa dilakukan terus menerus untuk membangun mutu dan reputasi diri, dalam hal ritual dan ibadah, kejujuran, ketulusan, silaturahim dan berkepribadian tangguh. Maka dalam hal ini diperlukan kegiatan dakwah yang dikemas melalui kegiatan- kegiagtan rutin di Masjid supaya bisa mendorong niat masyarakat untuk selalu bisa meningkatkan diri dan memperbaiki kualitas ibadah terutamanya pada momentum bulan Suci Ramadhan. Pada bulan suci Ramadhan adalah bulan dimana kita diberikan waktu dan peluang yang akurat untuk kita bisa meningkatkan kualitas diri, apalagi dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas Ibadah kita. Bulan Puasa harus digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan etos kerja, bukan untuk berleha leha dan berpangku tangan. Maka dari itu, kita mesti menggunakan kesempatan pada bulan Ramadhan dengan sebaik-baiknya dengan menyusun jadawal dan aktifitas kita sehari-hari dan rutinitas kita secara lebih baik. Kegiatan Transformasi ISMUBA melaui kegiatan pesantren Ramdhan dilaksanakan selama 20 hari pada 22 Maret-11 April 2023 di Masjid Nurul Hadi, Lemusir. Kegiatan ini meliputi TPA anak-anak, salat Tarawih, tadarus Al- Qur'an, dan tausiah/ceramah serta buka bersama. Kemudian, melaksanakan salah maghrib, salat isya' dan sholat tarawih berjamaah di masjid dan kultum/ceramah. Setelah salat Tarawih dilanjutkan dengan tadarus Al-Qur'an bersama jamaah masjid.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the most important goals of any educational system. Previous research has indicated that Malaysian educational institutions are still unable to meet the goals of instructional pedagogy in the classroom, particularly in terms of improving critical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to examine the practice of critical thinking skills among undergraduate students from the perspective of faculty members. This study is qualitative in nature since it focuses on individuals’ experiences and impressions of a specific programs from their own viewpoints. Data was gathered through interviews with faculty members who teach Islamic Education undergraduate students at the Kulliyyah of Education (KOED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The findings of the study revealed that practicing critical thinking abilities improved the students’ learning experiences. According to the informants’ response, a critical thinking skill is the student's ability to gather knowledge and explain his or her thoughts in order to solve difficulties. Similarly, students may exercise critical thinking abilities by developing higher-order thinking skills, problem-solving skills, reflection skills, and synthesis skills. Moreover, the study recommends further investigations on the practice of critical thinking skills not only for undergraduate students but also for other postgraduate students, particularly at the Kulliyyah of Education (KOED), IIUM. It also suggests that management educational institutions offer intensive programs to help students strengthen their critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

In this challenging modern era, quality character development is essential to form a unique and meaningful personality. One effective way to achieve this is through a school culture-based approach. This method helps build character and provides a strong moral foundation for the learners. For this character development to run well, this approach needs to be applied consistently and planned so that it can have a sustainable positive impact. This study aims to describe the school's efforts to instill religious character values through school culture at SMP Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research. The research approach used by the researcher is phenomenology, which uses data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study conclude that the school's efforts in instilling religious character values through school culture at SMP Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali are by carrying out activities such as the implementation of 5S (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Politeness, Courtesy), reading prayers together, reading asmaul husna, dhuha prayers and so on. Factors that support religious activities are student discipline, support from all school residents, monitoring from students, adequate facilities, and so on, in terms of implementation, one of the inhibiting factors is the lack of student awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum and the supporting and inhibiting factors at SMK Penerbangan Bina Dhirgantara Surakarta. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques are through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data validity uses source and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results on implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK Penerbangan Bina Dhirgantara Surakarta have yet to be fully optimal; several aspects must be improved and corrected so that its implementation runs well and optimally. Supporting factors in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum are the increased creativity of educators and students in their learning enthusiasm and student activity in the learning process, as well as enhancing educators' potential in developing their self-capacity. However, obstacles are felt in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education, such as the difficulty in creating quality learning because some teachers still do not master technology and have not fully understood the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines the perceived level of organizational citizenship behavior based on Islamic perspective (OCBIP) practices among academic staff in the Indonesian States' Islamic Higher Education Institutions (ISIHEIs). This study also sought to observe differences in the perceived level of OCBIP among academic staff by gender. A quantitative survey method was employed to collect the data from 450 academic staff of six State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (ISIHEIs) across Indonesia using a five-point OCBIP scale. Descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-tests, and bivariate correlations between antecedents of OCBIP were carried out with SPSS software version 25. The analysis of the study exhibits the perceived level of OCBIP practices among academic staff and gender influences on the perceived variables. The hypothesized model of the study added a new theory and knowledge of OCBIP from the Indonesian State Islamic Higher Education Institutions context that can be used to improve organizational effectiveness in ISIHEIs. The study's findings suggest that the value of the OCBIP practices by academic staff can boost the effectiveness of higher education institutions. The study tested, examined, and formulated OCBIP practices for ISIHEIs. The findings also contribute to understanding how OCBIP could be used to develop organizational effectiveness in the context of ISIHEIs.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the mapping of the development and direction of Islamic Ecosystem research in publications indexed by Scopus. This study uses bibliometric analysis techniques to explore all publications indexed in the Scopus database on (Parenting Strategies as an Effort to Prevent Student Underestimation Attitudes Towards Teachers) from 2015 to 2023. The data was analyzed using Excel and R/R-Studio. VOSviewer is used to perform visual analysis of the occurrence of keywords and document citations simultaneously. The authors found 867 publications that fit the established functions, subjects, and criteria. Morals as a meaning in the aspect of emphasizing Islamic teachings are recommended for habituation since childhood. This is because childhood is more conducive to practicing good behavior habits. Educators need a mature plan for educating children in order to have an effective moral education strategy. The purpose of this study is to describe how the strategies of classroom teachers or subject teachers in optimizing students' morals in the learning process can run conductively. The results of this study show an annual growth rate of 1.13%, with the most publications on Parenting in 2023. The United States is the country with the most publications contributed by affiliation of The Ohio State University. Elpley N became the most prolific writer on the subject (12). The bibliometric analysis carried out is limited to Scopus data. Other national and international databases were not taken into account in this study. This study presents a brief overview of the literature accessible to researchers working in the field of Islamic Education and provides recommendations for future research.
