Abstract

This article departs from the view of some logo designers in Indonesia who avoid using images of animate beings in their designs. So this article attempts to explore the hadith of the prohibition of drawing living things contextually. On the other hand, the development of image visualization has developed in various variants, one of which is the logo as an industrial tool in the present.  This study uses the library research method, which collects data through literature study of books, notes, and reports relevant to the problem under study. The results show that there are three main reasons ('illat) that cause the prohibition of drawing animate beings: first, if it aims to match the creation of Allah SWT; second, because it resembles the actions of Ahlul Kitab; third, because the image can be a means towards shirk. Meanwhile, the purpose of creating a logo is for the identity of a business, company, or organization to make it easily recognizable, differentiate it from other entities, and as a communication tool of what it offers. Given that the reason for the prohibition of drawing animate beings is irrelevant to the function of the logo, the law of creating a logo with visualization of animate beings is permissible.

Abstract

This study aimed to discuss the names of judgment day in the Qur'an through cognitive semantic approach and the values of spiritual education. Through the cognitive semantic approach, the conception of meaning to describe the judgment day in the Qur'an was formulated by mapping the meaning resulted from the source domain (Sd) to target domain (Sd). To show and compare references in (Sd) to (Td), referential technique was used. From organizing (Sd) to (Td) on metaphorical expressions which showed the judgment day in the Qur'an, the conceptions of the meaning of state, time, movement, and change were generated. The studies on the names of judgment day in the Qur'an influence the value of moral education, which is able to increase faith in God, observe nature and its big symptoms, create good character between God and man, and believe in God's noble character.

Abstract

In this modern era, there are many challenges in implementing Arabic language learning, particularly in Arabic text literacy activities. Literacy is not just about reading but also understanding what is read, both from a grammatical and content perspective. In Arabic itself, to train literacy, there is the Muthala'ah learning method. Muthala'ah learning not only focuses on teaching the proper reading of Arabic texts but is also accompanied by the exploration of morphology, syntax, and the meaning of the text being read. Therefore, to make Muthala'ah learning relevant and engaging for today’s time, this study aims to describe the development of Muthala'ah teaching materials based on 21st-century skills. The method used in this research is Design-Based Research (DBR) with descriptive data analysis. The results of this study include examples of Muthala'ah texts that are based on 21st-century skills, which include communicative, creative, collaborative, and critical thinking indicators. The presentation of the texts is also accompanied by visuals relevant to the text and explanations of several vocabulary words considered difficult. The findings highlight the importance of integrating 21st-century skills in Muthala'ah teaching, enhancing engagement, comprehension, and critical thinking, while visuals and vocabulary support improve accessibility and learning effectiveness.

Abstract

In Islam, character education is essential for a child's future, therefore from an early age children are taught how to have good morals. However, when they become teenagers, they will find many things that make them waver, they start to change what has been ingrained in them, one of which is by watching Korean dramas, this influences the moral education of teenagers, many of them prefer to postpone their worship because they are too focused on Korean dramas. Then many of them also imitate the behavior of Korean drama characters such as how they dress, accessories, food and even use Korean in their daily lives. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to social construction. Data collection uses interviews and observations of teenagers. The results of the research show that: 1) Korean dramas have a significant impact on the moral education of teenagers, 2) By watching Korean dramas, many teenagers are neglectful of their worship, follow the Korean way of dressing, are carried away emotionally by the stories in them and often use Korean. The implications of this research are: 1) increasing moral awareness, 2) educating parents and youth companions, 3) developing educational materials, 4) monitoring social media, 5) developing media literacy, 6) promoting local culture, 7) school collaboration and family.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies for internalizing the values of religious moderation within Indonesian language instruction in schools. Religious moderation—emphasizing tolerance, balance, and respect for diversity—is highly relevant to students' character formation in Indonesia's pluralistic society. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations at SMA Cordova Bandung using a qualitative approach. The findings reveal that Indonesian language teachers utilize interactive lectures, group discussions, contextual learning, and project-based learning methods to embed religious moderation values. some students experience difficulty in fully grasping the concept of religious moderation. The study concludes that integrating religious moderation into Indonesian language learning can effectively contribute to character building when approached through contextual and life-based pedagogy.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are one of the educational institutions that are effective in conducting moral development because of the coaching factors and the supportive environment. Pesantren has an important role in the process of moral development in someone, especially students. The purpose of this study is to find out moral development in Al-Musyahadah Islamic Boarding School, especially in the field of Sharing Session which is a special strategy in fostering the morals of its students. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Where this research focuses on boards, administrators and students who are directly involved in moral development. Data collection techniques in this study are using in-depth interview techniques, direct observation and surveys as well as documentation. To check the validity of this paper, data triangulation is carried out, namely inter-researcher triangulation, source triangulation and method triangulation. For data analysis, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing were carried out which resulted in a study, namely about moral development at Al-Musyahadah Islamic Boarding School and also moral development strategies through Sharing Sessions at Al-Musyahadah Islamic Boarding School. The results of this study show that there are several types of moral development carried out at the Al-Musyahadah Islamic Boarding School, such as the Sharing Session, Meeting Night and discussion in addition, the most effective moral development strategy at the Al-Musyahadah Islamic Boarding School is the Sharing Session. Pondok pesantren merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang efektif dalam melakukan pengembangan moral karena faktor pembinaan dan lingkungan yang mendukung. Pesantren memiliki peran penting dalam proses perkembangan moral dalam diri seseorang, khususnya pelajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan moral di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musyahadah, khususnya di bidang Sharing Session yang merupakan strategi khusus dalam membina akhlak para santrinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Dimana penelitian ini berfokus pada dewan, administrator dan mahasiswa yang terlibat langsung dalam pengembangan moral. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung dan survei serta dokumentasi. Untuk memeriksa keabsahan makalah ini, dilakukan triangulasi data yaitu triangulasi antar peneliti, triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Untuk analisis data dilakukan reduksi data, tampilan data dan penarikan kesimpulan yang menghasilkan kajian yaitu tentang perkembangan moral di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musyahadah dan juga strategi pengembangan moral melalui Sharing Session di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musyahadah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa jenis perkembangan  moral yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musyahadah, seperti Sharing Session, Meeting Night dan diskusi selain itu, strategi pengembangan moral yang paling efektif di Pondok Pesantren Al-Musyahadah adalah Sharing Session.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Manajemen Humas Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Karawang dalam meningkatkan mutu Pondok Pesantren. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memahami secara mendalam tentang kondisi, kendala, dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh humas. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pengelolaan media informasi dan pengembangan informasi melalui media online menjadi langkah penting dalam peningkatan mutu pondok pesantren. Humas perlu membangun hubungan yang baik dengan media massa, memanfaatkan teknologi dan platform digital,serta mengikuti perkembangan terkini dalam industri media dan komunikasi. Komunikasi terbatas, terbatasnya sumber daya, dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat teridentifikasi sebagai kendala dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pondok pesantren. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, humas perlu melakukan komunikasi yang efektif, melakukan branding dan promosi yang baik, serta menjalin kerjasama dengan media. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam pengembangan manajemen humas dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the style of language of the principles of da'wah in Surah An-Nahl verse 125, the concept of religious moderation according to the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and how the two are related. The results of this study concludes that there are three interrelationships, namely 1. The principle of Wisdom (al-Hikmah) gives birth to a reflection language style (Istifham) and realizes the value of tolerance (at-Tasamuh); 2. The principle of good advice (al-Mau'idzhah al-Hasanah) gives birth to a dialogue style (Hiwar) and realizes democratic values (asy-Syuuroo); 3 Principles of Plenary Argument (al-Mujadalah bi al-Husna) gives birth to an analogy language style (Amtsal) and realized the value of proportion (al-I'tidal).

Abstract

The aims of the research were to develop instructional materials for science integrated with Islamic values, to determine the appropriateness and the effectiveness of the developed product for increasing learning output. Science learning output is consisting of attitude (religious attitudes and positive attitudes toward science) and learning achievement. This research is Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg & Gall model. Data analysis techniques using gain score, independent t-test, and MANOVA test. Instructional materials in the form of MTs student books and MTs teacher books. Product assessment of the MTs student books according to matter experts and media experts are categorized "very well". The MTs teacher books according to matter experts are categorized "good", and according to media experts are categorized "very well". Learning to use student books showed that religious attitudes had risen high (the mean gain score was 0.70), positive attitudes towards science had risen middle (the mean gain score was 0.57), and science learning achievement had risen middle (the mean gain score was 0.55). MANOVA test showed that Sig value is 0.00.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji secara mendalam penerapan layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam menangani masalah kepribadian siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer Jaringan di SMK Negeri 1 Karawang. Masalah kepribadian yang diidentifikasi meliputi krisis identitas, penurunan moral, masalah hubungan interpersonal, masalah emosional, serta motivasi dan disiplin diri. Strategi layanan yang diterapkan antara lain konseling individu, konseling kelompok, bimbingan kelompok, bimbingan karir, kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan guru, serta program pengembangan diri. Faktor pendukung meliputi sumber daya manusia (SDM) kompeten, sarana prasarana memadai, dan program pelatihan konselor. Faktor penghambat adalah stigma negatif dan keterbatasan waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru bimbingan konseling dan siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer Jaringan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penerapan menunjukkan perkembangan positif pada kepribadian siswa seperti percaya diri, sosialisasi baik, dan kemampuan mengatasi masalah. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif penerapan layanan serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya dalam menangani masalah kepribadian siswa. Implikasi penting dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang efektif untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan potensi diri secara optimal
