Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain how Professional Identity (PI) in mediating the connection between Self-Directed Learning (SDL) and Teaching Creativity (KM). A quantitative method and path analysis were employed to gather data via an online survey from 170 students enrolled in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. SDL acted as the independent variable, PI functioned as the mediator, and KM was designated as the dependent variable. The findings indicate that SDL is a strong predictor of PI (0.611, p < 0.001), and PI is a strong predictor of KM (0.697, p < 0.001). Nonetheless, once PI is incorporated into the model, the direct influence of SDL on KM turns statistically insignificant (0.073, p = 0.259), suggesting complete mediation. This indicates that SDL affects KM solely by influencing PI students with strong SDL abilities often cultivate a stronger PI, which subsequently enhances teaching creativity. These results indicate that SDL by itself is inadequate for improving KM establishing a solid professional identity is crucial. Consequently, teacher education programs must not only foster independent learning abilities but also enhance PI to promote innovative and creative teaching methods.

Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has significantly changed how students access information and achieve learning satisfaction. One of the most impactful innovations is the use of artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, to support the learning process. This study aims to examine the effect of information quality on learning satisfaction with the use of ChatGPT as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on undergraduate students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta in the 2024 academic year who had used ChatGPT in academic activities. A total of 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis method employed was Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS,SEM) using SmartPLS software. The results indicate that information quality significantly influences learning satisfaction, both directly and through the mediation of ChatGPT usage. Additionally, information quality has a strong and significant effect on the intensity of ChatGPT use, and ChatGPT usage itself contributes positively to students’ learning satisfaction. However, the evaluation of the measurement model reveals that discriminant validity and overall model fit have not been fully achieved, suggesting the need for model refinement in future research. This study contributes to understanding the integration of AI,based technologies in education and highlights the importance of enhancing information quality to foster a more adaptive and effective learning.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of influencer popularity and consumer testimonials on purchase intention and its subsequent effect on fashion purchasing decisions. A quantitative method with a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach was used to analyze responses from 100 university students. The findings indicate that both influencer popularity and testimonials significantly increase purchase intention, which strongly influences purchasing decisions. However, the direct impact of influencer popularity and testimonials on purchasing decisions is not significant without the mediating effect of purchase intention. These results suggest that fostering consumer intention is critical in driving actual purchase behavior.
