The objective of this study to assess the effect of education through songs on the level of skill knowledge about preventing CSA in school-age children. The type of research was quasi-experiment with one group pre and post-test design. The sample size used a total sampling that all students became the sample. The study involved 323 students in grades 4-6 at SDN Dayeuhkolot, Bandung Regency. The treatment was an education on prevention of the CSA on school-age children, it was given using the jargon "TANGKIS" with the method of giving songs through a video about the prevention of sexual violence against children. The instrument was adopted from the Aprilaz design (2016) which was modified by Suhenda (2019). Data analysis using univariate analysis with frequency and percentage distribution, and bivariate analysis using t-test. The study showed that 289 students (89.5%) were able to have good knowledge about the prevention of CSA before the intervention and after the intervention increased to 319 (98.8%) (p= 0.001). Education through songs influences students' knowledge regarding the prevention of CSA. Suggestion: this research is to be able to make education programs to prevent CSA of school-age children regularly and explore other educational methods that can effectively influence the improvement of knowledge, attitudes, and skills in protecting themselves from the threat of CSA.Abstrak: Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) menjadi masalah di dunia yang cukup besar dan berdampak buruk, baik jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Abstract

Background: Child sexual abuse (CSA) has emerged as a global concern, particularly affecting children in Indonesia. However, there remains a scarcity of research on CSA within the Indonesian context. Objective: This study aimed to explore the educational needs of primary school teachers in preventing child sexual abuse. Methods: A qualitative descriptive study design was employed, with eight teachers and school principals selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through focus group discussions and analyzed using content analysis. Results: Six categories emerged: 1) The risk of sexual abuse, 2) The necessity for clear CSA preventive regulations and sanctions for abusers, 3) Lack of CSA program socialization, 4) The need for structured CSA prevention education for children, 5) The importance of effective coordination with various relevant stakeholders, and 6) The presence of barriers and obstacles. Conclusion: This study provides valuable insights into the educational prerequisites for teachers to implement CSA prevention measures effectively. The findings emphasize the pressing need for school teachers to develop and implement CSA prevention programs, with the government’s and nursing professionals’ support, to enhance educators’ abilities in combating CSA. Nurses have a pivotal role in preventing and addressing child sexual abuse, and they should actively contribute to improving child safety and well-being through knowledge, collaboration, and advocacy for comprehensive prevention strategies.

Abstract

Management airways become one important part in an act of care in patients with critical conditions due to disease. One attempt to keep the airway is to intubate, is inserting a pipe into the upper respiratory tract. The main requirement that must be considered is to keep the airway is always free and breath can run smoothly and orderly. The final stage of intubation was extubated. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors are associated with outcome of extubation in ICU Prof. Dr. Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto Hospital. This study is a cohort retrospective with  analytic correlational design. The sample in this study amounted to 96 people. Bivariate test results that there is a relationship between age (p = 0.000), tidal volume (p = 0.001), systolic blood pressure (p = 0.000), FiO2 (p = 0.007) and PEEP (p = 0.014) with outcome of extubation. There is no associated GCS (p = 0.358) with outcome of extubation. Therefore, nurses need to give special attention regarding the condition of the patient, such as age characteristics, the value of tidal volume, systolic blood pressure, FiO2 and PEEP before extubation. Keywords: outcome, extubation, ICU
