Konsep matematika pada kehidupan sehari-hari biasanya hanya dilihat pada persoalan yang bersifat hitungan, namun sejatinya terdapat korelasi didalamnya. Matematika dan budaya adalah dua hal yang saling berhubungan. Oleh karena itu dalam memberikan pengajaran matematika, guru dapat meng-koneksikan pengetahuan matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di kenal dengan istilah etnomatematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini  adalah untuk menggali dan mengeksplorasi konsep bangun datar di Sekolah Dasar pada struktur candi pari Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif pendekatan etnografi data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapat diharapkan sebagai sumber pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar serta sebagai upaya untuk mengembangkan apa yang disebut etnomatematika. Hasil dari penelitin ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat konsep bangun datar pada struktur candi Pari, Sidoarjo. Struktur tersebut berbentuk persegi, persegi panjang, trapesium, dan segitiga. Konsep bangun datar terdapat pada dinding candi, pintu masuk, serta atap candi. Proses pembelajaran matematika dengan mengunakan objek etnomtematika diharapkan semakin mempermudah para siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika dari sesuatu yang konkret dan nyata.

General Background: The introduction of the Kurikulum Merdeka in Indonesia aims to enhance student competence and character by offering more flexible and student-centered learning approaches. Specific Background: While it promises a more inclusive and modern educational environment, the implementation poses challenges for teachers adapting to this new paradigm. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have focused on policy impacts and student outcomes, but there is limited research on the specific difficulties faced by classroom teachers during implementation. Aims: This study seeks to identify the challenges teachers encounter with the Kurikulum Merdeka and the strategies they employ to overcome these challenges. Results: Analysis of literature reveals several key issues: teachers' inadequate understanding of the curriculum's concepts, difficulty in designing student-centered learning, lack of resources, and challenges with competency-based assessments. Abstract: This qualitative study investigates elementary school students' difficulties in solving mixed arithmetic problems with whole numbers at SDN Gelam 2 Sidoarjo. Through a case study approach, nine fourth-grade students were selected based on their mathematical abilities, and data were collected using written tests and interviews. The findings reveal that students with low abilities struggle with conceptual understanding, while medium-ability students face challenges in principle application and verbalization. High-ability students encounter verbalization difficulties. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous training in mixed arithmetic problem-solving, integrating real-life scenarios to enhance mathematical understanding. It suggests educators play a crucial role in addressing students' learning difficulties effectively. Further research should include statistical analysis to provide a more detailed understanding of students' struggles in solving mixed arithmetic problems. Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif ini menyelidiki kesulitan siswa sekolah dasar dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal aritmatika campuran bilangan bulat di SDN Gelam 2 Sidoarjo. Melalui pendekatan studi kasus, sembilan siswa kelas empat dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan matematika mereka, dan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam pemahaman konseptual, sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan sedang menghadapi tantangan dalam penerapan prinsip dan verbalisasi. Siswa berkemampuan tinggi menghadapi kesulitan verbalisasi. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dalam pemecahan masalah aritmatika campuran, mengintegrasikan skenario kehidupan nyata untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematika. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidik memainkan peran penting dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa secara efektif. Penelitian lebih lanjut harus mencakup analisis statistik untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih rinci tentang kesulitan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah aritmatika campuran.

Abstract: This study focuses on developing a high-quality learning module for first-grade students based on numeracy literacy under the independent curriculum. Following the Research and Development (R&D) method and utilizing the ADDIE model, the module underwent expert validation and practicality assessment through student responses. Results show the module achieved a highly valid score of 89% and practicality ratings of 93% in limited testing and 89% in extensive testing. The validated and practical module fills a gap in teaching materials, providing valuable resources for teachers to enhance students' numeracy literacy in primary education. Further research is suggested to evaluate its effectiveness in improving students' numeracy skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan modul pembelajaran yang berkualitas tinggi untuk siswa kelas satu berdasarkan literasi numerasi di bawah kurikulum mandiri. Mengikuti metode Research and Development (R&D) dan menggunakan model ADDIE, modul tersebut menjalani validasi ahli dan penilaian kepraktisan melalui respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul tersebut mencapai nilai sangat valid sebesar 89% dan nilai kepraktisan sebesar 93% pada uji coba terbatas dan 89% pada uji coba luas. Modul yang telah divalidasi dan praktis ini mengisi kekosongan bahan ajar, menyediakan sumber daya yang berharga bagi para guru untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa di pendidikan dasar. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa.

Penelitian ini menyajikan pengembangan modul pengajaran Pancasila Fase A pada platform Android yang dirancang untuk siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan matematika dasar mereka melalui pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE, penelitian ini memberikan hasil yang menjanjikan. Kualitas dokumen mendapat skor 100%, dengan nilai 90%, sementara bahan ajar mendapat skor 91,66%, memenuhi kriteria “sangat bernilai”. Tingkat respons siswa terhadap kuesioner adalah 94,86%, yang menunjukkan kepraktisan yang tinggi. Efektivitas modul elektronik Pancasila ditemukan tinggi, dengan peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai pre-test dan post-test siswa (N-Gain = 0,72). Modul elektronik berbasis Android ini menunjukkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa kelas 1 SD, sehingga dapat mengatasi kesenjangan pengetahuan yang ada dan memberikan implikasi untuk praktik pendidikan di masa depan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, efektivitas, serta respons modul matematika materi penjumlahan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung penjumlahan soal cerita pada siswa kelas 1 SD. Penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari validator ahli materi dan media, 30 siswa kelas 1. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi ahli, pretest-posttest berupa soal essay. Modul matematika materi penjumlahan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah dasar atas dasar kevalidan dari para ahli, efektivitas dan respons siswa dalam pengembangan modul matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung penjumlahan soal cerita. Teruntuk para guru kelas satu yang melaksanakan pembelajaran matematika pada materi yang serupa agar menggunakan modul matematika.

Elementary school students' difficulties in solving literacy problems are caused by students' lack of understanding of mathematical concepts. Using a specific regional context in literacy problems is essential to analyze layers of understanding elementary school more deeply. Based on Pirie-Kieren's theory, the study aims to analyze layers of understanding elementary school students in solving literacy problems in the context of Sidoarjo. The theory consists of eight understanding layers: primitive knowing, image making, image having, property noticing, formalising, observing, structuring, and inventing. A qualitative approach with a case study type was used as the research method. The research participants were 26 fifth-grade elementary school students. The determination of the research subjects was done by purposive technique. In this, the emphasis of determining the subject is taken on three categories of understanding by having one student each in the low, medium, and high categories. The results show that the layers of understanding of elementary school students are at the highest, namely observing. In addition, literacy problems in Sidoarjo contexts can overstimulate students' understanding. The context of learning should be used in Sidoarjo. Future research recommendations suggested using the regional context as a background for literacy problems in learning or problem-solving; this is needed to explore and develop layers of understanding to a higher level.

The low numeracy ability in first grade of elementary school has a significant impact on the understanding of numeracy concepts at the next level of education. This study aims to prove the influence of learning using Bundle of Stick media on students' understanding of numeracy concepts. This objective was determined considering the low understanding of numeracy concepts in elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with the True Experimental Design type. Data were collected through observation and multiple-choice assessment test sheets. This study used a sample of 24 students in each class. Data analysis was carried out using the T-test and Paired Sample T-test. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, which means that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This shows that students' understanding of numeracy concepts will be better if the Bundle of Stick learning media is applied compared to conventional learning. Furthermore, the results of the Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, which means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. This shows that the application of Bundle of Stick learning media can improve the understanding of numeracy concepts. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the innovation of implementing Bundle of Stick media is effective in improving the understanding of numeracy concepts of first grade students. This study has implications for strengthening students' numeracy skills, so that they are more ready to receive material at the next level of education.

Penerapan Penilaian Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) di sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya dalam bidang matematika. Namun, siswa masih menghadapi tantangan dalam menerapkan AKM, terlepas dari nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) matematika mereka. Studi kasus kualitatif ini menyelidiki kesulitan siswa kelas 5 SD dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal literasi numerasi AKM berdasarkan nilai KKM mereka, dengan menggunakan teori pemecahan masalah dari Polya. Data yang dikumpulkan dari tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa kesulitan dalam memahami masalah, membuat rencana, melaksanakan operasi matematika, dan meninjau kembali solusi. Temuan ini menekankan perlunya intervensi yang ditargetkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa dan meningkatkan efektivitas AKM, serta menyarankan adanya penyesuaian kurikulum dan program pelatihan guru untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan ini dan mendorong hasil pendidikan yang lebih baik
