Abstract

This study discusses Logistic Equations using the Adam Bashforth Moulton method to predict population growth, which is then solved first with the Runge Kutta method of order-4 to obtain the initial solution then using Adam Bashforth as a predictor and Adam Moulton as a corrector. The logistical equation for population growth with a carrying capacity in Indonesia is K=1,000,000,000 with a step size of h=1, with a growth rate of 1%. Logistics numerical numerical solution with population growth at t=2027 with a step size of h=1 is 274,250,443 people

Abstract

A premium reserve is the amount of funds that the insurance company needs to prepare for the payment of liability benefits when a claim occurs. One method of calculating premiums is the commissioners method which is an extension of the prospective reserve method.The main factor in the actuarial calculation is the mortality rate that can be determined using the WOOLHOUSE mortality law. This study aims to determine the size of the life insurance premiums reserve using the commisioners method and the WOLHOUSE mortality laws. The calculation of the premium reserve is linked to the determination of a person's chances of survival over a period of years of WOALHOUSE law which is then used to find the value of the insurance, the initial annuity value, the annual premium, the modified premiums based on the Commissioners method, and the amount of the premie reserve at the end of the year. The study was conducted on a 25-year-old woman who was enrolled in a dwiguna life insurance program with a 25 year liability period and a 23 year premium payment period at a 4% interest rate with a liability of Rs. 500,000,000. The results of the analysis showed that the large reserves of premiums obtained at the end of the period of liability with the Commissioners method and the WOOLHOUSE mortality law are equal to the given reservation value, so that the insurance company is prepared to give the amount of reservation promised to the policyholder.

Abstract

Higher education is a level of education that is able to produce and prepare graduates so that college graduates are able to compete and are ready to face the world of work. The aim of this research is to determine the dominant factors that influence the study period and waiting time for undergraduates in Department of Mathmatics FST UIN Sumatera Utara Medan until they get their first job in less than 9 months. The Least Absolute Shrinkage And Selection Operator (LASSO) method was used in this research, where this method is expected to be able to provide high accuracy results in terms of determining the most dominant factors. From the results of calculations using the LASSO method, the three most dominant factors that greatly influence the study period and waiting time for undergraduates are working status (X3), organizational participation (X5), grade point average (X2), final assignment position (X2). By producing this most dominant factor, it is hoped that mathematics study programs will care more about their students by making major and minor improvements to future accreditation

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is one of the important roles in the company. This is done to evaluate, motivate and improve employee performance in the company. The results of this performance are used to determine employees who excel. This study uses 5 criteria, namely commitment, integration, professional, innovative, and disciplined. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is used to determine the weight value of each attribute, followed by ranking to select each given alternative. This method can help decision making to produce the greatest value as the best alternative. This research was conducted on 37 respondents' data. The results of the study indicate that this can provide the best decision alternative in making decisions to assess employee performance.

Abstract

The existence of shortages and excesses of production raw materials often occurs in the NR Brownies company where this situation greatly influences the smooth production process, especially in the supply of raw materials which results in sub-optimal expenditure costs. The aim of this research is to find solution how to prevent companies from experiencing these problems on a regular basis which results in less than optimal spending costs. In overcoming this problem, the Material Requirement Planning method is applied, this method is expected to minimize expenditure costs so that the benefits obtained are more optimal. From the research results, the Material Requirement Planning Method for EOQ calculations produces the minimum costs for sugar and oil raw materials of 18.295.130 and 19.591.230 respectively, while the POQ calculation produces the minimum costs for raw materials 14.839.500 for flour, 15.450.000 for eggs, 1.356.650 for cocoa flour, and 2.504.387 for baking powder.

Abstract

Da'wah should encompass not just teachings on worship but also the promotion and education of the Islamic economy. These two fields should enhance and reinforce one another. This study aims to examine the influence of da'wah on the development of the Islamic economy, as well as the reciprocal impact of the Islamic economy on the dissemination of sharia values. A total of 513 papers, comprising 500 from Google Scholar and 13 from Scopus, underwent screening, eligibility evaluation, and quality rating in this study. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing a systematic literature review approach following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P) guidelines. The study's findings indicate that da'wah and economic empowerment are mutually reinforcing, contributing to Muslims' economic self-sufficiency and long-term viability. The propagation of da'wah by da'i, encompassing information on Islamic economics, can elevate societal literacy and catalyze advancing the empowerment of the Islamic economy. Similarly, the Islamic economy, encompassing halal tourism and Islamic financial products, functions as a means of da'wah to facilitate mua'malah transactions by Sharia principles.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the main health problems in every country because it can cause heart disease and deadly brain stroke. Hypertension is seen as a serious health problem because we often don't realize it comes with few if any real symptoms. This disease can continue to get worse without realizing it to a level that threatens the life of the sufferer. Hypertension or high blood pressure is an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg on two measurements with an interval of five minutes in a state of sufficient rest/calm. This study used a pre-experimental design method with the type of one group pretest-posttest design. The target in this study were the elderly in Jurong Binje Village, Jangka Buya District, Pidie Jaya Regency. The questionnaire in this study was used to examine the effect of counseling about hypertension on increasing the knowledge of the elderly in Jurong Binje Village, Jangka Buya District, Pidie Jaya Regency. The number of samples taken was 15 elderly people. It is known that most of the respondents were female as many as 10 respondents with a percentage of 66.7%, while most of them were aged 55-60 years as many as 9 respondents with a percentage of 60%. The highest level of knowledge of the elderly before being given counseling was in the moderate category, 5 people (33.3%). The highest level of knowledge of the elderly after being given counseling was in the high category, 15 people (100%). The average knowledge level of the elderly before being given counseling was 1.67 and after being given counseling was 1.00. From these results it can be concluded that there were positive results from the counseling process carried out.

Abstract

Wirausaha tentunya akan menjadi sebuah pilihan untuk menghindari sulitnya mencari sebuah pekerjaan, Dengan menjadi wirausahawan seseorang akan lebih kreatif dan kritis dalam mengambil keputusan guna memajukan wirausaha yang dibangunnya. Namun banyak hal yang menjadi tantangan para wirausahawan, seperti modal awal yang terkadang cukup besar, sulitnya merintis kewirausahaan dari awal(dasar), tingginya tingkat persaingan dibidang usaha tersebut, tidak adanya jaminan keberhasilan dalam menjalankan usaha tersebut. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui model perhitungan goal programming yang dapat meminimumkan biaya produksi yang diperlukan dan memaksimalkan pendapatan keuntungan penjualan. Hasil perhitungan produksi roti dalam sehari produksi pada model goal programming yang diselesaikan menggunakan software lingo 20.0 adalah Nilai yang diinginkan pengambil keputusan adalah Rp.4.500.000,- Nilai yang dihasilkan setelah perhitungan adalah Rp.3.764.597,- Nilai yang diinginkan pengambil keputusan adalah Rp.1.000.000,- Nilai yang diinginkan pengambil keputusan adalah Rp.1.602.391,-

Abstract

Abstract:  This research aims to find out how many brownies are prosuced each day in orer to obtain optimal daily profits using the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker method. The Karush-Kuhn-Tucker method is a technique that can be used to find the optimum point of an objective function regardless of whether it is linear or non-linear. Completion using this method results in optimal sales each product, namely 1.500 chocolate brownies, 1.154 packages of durian brownies, 667 packages of pandan brownies and 500 packages of strawberry brownies, so the total sales profit is IDR. 6.559.538,08 a day.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa banyak produksi per hari brownies supaya memperoleh keuntungan harian yang optimal dengan menggunakan metode Karush-Kuhn-Tucker(KKT). Metode Karush-Kuhn-Tucker merupakan suatu teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari titik optimum dari suatu fungsi tujuan tanpa mandang apakah bersifat linier atau nonlinier. Penyelesaian dengan metode ini menghasilkan penjualan optimal dari masing-masing produk yaitu brownies coklat sebanyak 1.500 kemasan, brownies durian sebanyak 1.154 kemasan, brownies pandan sebanyak 667 kemasan dan brownies strawberry sebanyak 500 kemasan, maka total keuntungan penjualan yaitu Rp. 6.559.538,08 per hari.
