Abstract

This study seeks to understand the role of children's literature in the character development of elementary school children. Learning children's literature in elementary school has a significant impact on the development of a child's personality. Although children's literature is intended to entertain, it is still educational. Children's attitudes and behavior can be influenced by reading age-appropriate literature. The research technique used is literature review. Data were obtained from various literary sources, including textbooks, scientific articles, and digital libraries. Examining reading sources that are relevant to the study discussed, namely the impact of learning children's literature on the character formation of elementary school students is the data analysis method used. The findings of this study indicate that a teacher must have knowledge of subjects, teaching materials, and learning strategies in order to teach children's literature for character development. Elementary school children will gain an understanding of good and bad, right and wrong, and appropriate and inappropriate through character education contained in literature.

Abstract

The character and morality of students must be maximally cultivated so that they are not only superior in the academic field but also in the non-academic field to support their identity in the midst of globalization. Therefore, instilling noble character in Indonesian students is the most urgent matter that needs immediate attention. Through this study, it is believed that concepts or tactics for fostering noble character among Indonesian students can be found. This research was carried out using a literature review, which requires the collection and assessment of sources and facts from published works such as books, journals, papers, and theses. Data collection uses semantic and symbolic reading techniques. Based on the research findings, character education must still be carried out in higher education in order to improve and cultivate noble character among students. Teachers are responsible for fostering student character and morals. Through outstanding lecturer lessons in an academic setting, students will emulate lecturers and look up to them as role models.

Abstract

advancements. If this technology is not endowed with strong mental and spiritual abilities, this generation Z (students) will not be able to counteract its negative effects. In the worst case scenario, this effect will cause students to develop into a generation that forgets their identity, resulting in behavior that is inconsistent with Pancasila values. Based on this, the researcher conducted a study titled Efforts to Develop Moral Resilience through the Re-actualization of Pancasila Ethics in Generation Z in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The research strategy is qualitative and descriptive, employing both purposive and accidental sampling. The data collection methods employed are interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that Generation Z (students) already comprehend good ethics, specifically those that are in accordance with Pancasila, but the implementation is still hampered by the difficulties of the current era. There are two things that must be instilled in generation Z (students) in order to strengthen their moral resilience: 1) Building mental resilience; this can be accomplished by always comprehending, living, and demonstrating Pancasila values. 2) Strengthen spiritually; this can be accomplished by embracing and exercising religious principles.
