Abstract

One of the determinants of the Human Development Index (HDI) is the education sector. The condition of education in Indonesia, including in coastal areas such as Cirebon Regency, still finds problems related to the dropout rate. As with the Ministry of Education and Culture data, the Rough Participation Rate from SD to Higher Education in Cirebon Regency is still at number 21 out of 27 cities/regencies in West Java. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors can reduce the dropout rate. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Resource persons in this study were 22 respondents familiar with the conditions of education in the Cirebon Regency, including elements of the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency, the Education Office, Educators, education, and community leaders who were concerned about education problems. The method used is the Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP). With this analysis, the researcher tries to arrange policy priorities based on each factor's weight so that a priority scale is obtained to reduce the dropout rate in Cirebon Regency. The results showed that the priority order based on the hierarchy is that the infrastructure factor is the priority with a weight of 24.89%. There are aspects of school conditions 22.38% and economic conditions 19.92%. Keywords: Infrastructure, Schools, Economics, and Dropouts

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises or SMEs have a role that is very important in advancing the Indonesian economy, especially the economy in areas such as Cirebon Regency which is a Trade Regency. The existence of MSMEs in the Cirebon Regency for contributions or contributions to GRDP during the current Covid-19 pandemic condition is certainly something that must be maintained. This study aims to map the industrial sector development centers in Cirebon Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic by using a quantitative descriptive approach and using the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis tool as an analytical tool. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cirebon Regency experienced an economic shift with increasing economic sectors, both secondary and tertiary. Then several economic sectors such as services and the agricultural, forestry, and livestock sectors contributed significantly and experienced positive growth. There are superior commodities that grow and develop well, such as the rattan and furniture industry, then processed food and batik. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the potential for small and medium industry centers (IKM) that are recommended to be superior SMEs are the woven bamboo IKM center, the pindang fish IKM center and the tempe and tofu IKM center

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas manajemen Home Industry Kue Gapit Sampurna Jaya melalui penyusunan strategi usaha yang tepat dan akurat agar dapat mengembangkan home industry tersebut yang mana saat ini sudah mulai dikenal masyarakat banyak karena cita rasa makanannya sangat khas. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah melalui Analisis SWOT untuk membantu mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang terbentuk secara sistematis yang digunakan untuk merumuskan strategi perusahaan. Analisis SWOT dapat diterapakan dengan cara menganalisis dan memilih hal-hal yang memengaruhi keempat faktornya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan metode kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian, strategi produsen agar dapat terus bersaing yaitu menjaga kualitas produk dengan bahan baku yang berkualitas baik, memberi pelayanan yang baik, harga bersaing dan pemasaran online. Sedangkan analisis SWOT diantaranya memaksimalkan produksi, menjaga kualitas produk, menyediakan lahan parkir, menambah variasi rasa gapit, menambah modal serta memperluas pemasaran.

Abstract

Program kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan kepada tim pengelola jurnal kesehatan dan para dosen di lingkungan STIKes Cirebon agar dapat meningkatkan akselerasi jurnal kesehatan STIKes Cirebon menuju jurnal berbasis Open Journal System dan terakreditasi melalui metode penyampaian secara ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi pemanfaatan Open Journal System. Berdasarkan program kegiatan pengabdian ini, masih ditemukan beberapa diantara tim pengelola yang merasa berat memahami prosedur dan sistem pengelolaan e-Journal sehingga dapat terakreditasi. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, maka kegiatan pengembangan kapasitas Dosen dan Tim pengelola STIKes Cirebon dalam hal Publikasi karya ilmiah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Hal ini tidak lain adalah untuk mengembangkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil publikasi pada Jurnal Kesehatan STIKes Cirebon.

Abstract

Merujuk peranan sebuah  Perguruan Tinggi yaitu bidang Pendidikan, penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat, pemberdayaan tidak harus berkonotasi kerja monumental, namun kerja pendampingan dan pemberdayaan pada sektor usaha kecil dan menengah yang juga bisa dilakukan oleh kampus. Pola pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui usaha cibay sangat membantu sektor kerja informal, membuka lapangan kerja sekaligus usaha. Pola kerjasama dengan franchise bagi masyarakat yang memiliki modal usaha, atau cukup dengan bergabung menjadi reseller untuk yang minim modal. Pelaksanaan pendampingan dengan terlibat proses produksi, packing hingga prosess marketing didapatkan beberapa perbaikan dan usulan inovasi seperti packing menggunakan vacuum sealer sehingga menjadikan cibay lebih tahan lama hingga ke tangan konsumen. Perlu strategi pengembangan yang terus menerus dan marketing yang inovatif agar produk olahan ini dapat menjadi salah satu ikon makanan khas cirebon

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan yang hingga kini masih belum selesai dan menjadi pekerjaan besar bagi Pemerintah di Indonesia. Jumlahnya kian meningkat setelah datangnya krisis ekonomi. Selain masalah layanan kesehatan, gizi anak, layanan pendidikan, rumah tidak layak huni juga menjadi masalah banyak masyarakat miskin. Oleh karenanya pemerintah melaksanakan program RS-Rutilahu (Rehabilitasi Sosial-Rumah Tidak Layak Huni) untuk membantu masyarakat miskin yang belum memiliki rumah yang layak huni. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi sekaligus mengetahui permasalahan yang ada dalam program RS-Rutilahu serta urutan prioritas masalahnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, permasalahan yang paling urgent adalah; Komunikasi antara BKM dan penerima manfaat belum terbuka,transparan dan intensif dengan total nilai CARL sebesar 625. Kemudian disusul dengan Monev internal dan eksternal yang belum optimal dengan total nilai CARL sebesar 225. Dan yang ketiga Banyaknya jumlah usulan penerima manfaat tidak sebanding dengan jumlah kuota bantuan yang diasiapkan dengan total nilai CARL sebesar 150.

Abstract

Interest is a combination of desire and will that can develop if there is motivation. If interest and motivation are absent, habits generally don't grow and don't develop. The habit of reading must be applied from an early age, in order to overcome the problem of a lack of interest in reading in children. The creation of a "Reading Corner" is provided in order to provide a solution to the low ability of children to read and write at school age. There are several things that cause low interest in reading, one of which is how parents do not encourage children to prioritize buying books over toys, hearing aids. The role of mentoring is related to efforts to foster children's learning motivation from an early age, namely providing teaching, mentoring, and setting a good example for children. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of providing assistance in the process of fostering motivation to read in children through collaboration with local residents to build interest in reading in children from an early age.

Abstract

WASTE BANK: SOLUTION TO MINIMIZE PLASTIC WASTE IN RW 10 PEKALIPAN. The mentoring process in this community service program aims to observe the patterns of cooperation among community members in managing the waste bank and the utilization of the waste bank as an effort to minimize plastic waste through recycling activities at the Waste Bank of RW 10 Pekalipan, Kanoman Utara. Additionally, this program also seeks to assess the social and economic impacts of the waste bank's existence on the community. The mentoring conducted by IAIN Syekh Nurjati students with the residents of RW 10 Pekalipan revealed that the utilization of plastic waste through recycling at the waste bank has been running quite well. Plastic waste recycling activities at the RW 10 Waste Bank have brought significant benefits to the community and its members, including both social and economic advantages.The students acted as catalysts in the mentoring process, helping to optimize waste management practices to ensure they are efficient and economically valuable. This activity also provided education and awareness to the community about the importance of proper waste management, which contributes positively to the environment.

Abstract

EMPOWERİNG WOMEN FARMERS' COMMUNİTİES İN ORGANİC VEGETABLE BUSİNESSES İN URBAN AREAS: The Women Farmers Group in Pekalipan Village, Pekalipan District, Cirebon City serves as a strategic platform for housewives to develop economic potential through utilizing yard land in RW.10. This empowerment program emerged as a solution for mothers who have been solely engaged in domestic routines without having other productive activities. Under the guidance of field extension officers from the Cirebon City Agriculture Department, these women farmers are encouraged to optimize their home yards by growing various types of organic vegetables. The applied concept pays careful attention to women's role balance, where gardening activities do not interfere with their primary responsibilities as mothers and wives, but instead provide real contributions to alleviating family economic burdens. Through intensive mentoring methods, this program aims to inspire enthusiasm and motivation among women farmers to improve family quality of life while building economic independence through environmentally friendly organic vegetable cultivation. This initiative demonstrates that women's empowerment can be achieved without abandoning their main responsibilities and roles within the family.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have driven the growing use of cashless payments, which offer convenience and efficiency in transactions. However, this convenience also has the potential to shift consumption patterns toward greater spending. This situation becomes increasingly problematic when the high use of cashless payments is not balanced by adequate financial literacy, leaving individuals less able to control their spending. Additionally, the high use of social media, with its various promotions, trends, and consumerist lifestyles, is also suspected of reinforcing the drive toward consumption. This phenomenon indicates a relationship between cashless payments, financial literacy, and social media that warrants further research, particularly among Generation Z in the city of Cirebon.   This study aims to examine the influence of cashless payments, financial literacy, and social media on consumer behavior. The study employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and literature review. The study population consists of Generation Z in Cirebon City who use cashless payments in their daily consumption activities. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was conducted through tests of validity, reliability, normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, as well as multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing.   The results of the study indicate that cashless payments and social media have a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior, while financial literacy has a negative and significant effect. Collectively, these three variables have a significant effect on the consumer behavior of Generation Z in Cirebon City.
