Abstract

Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) adalah lembaga yang mengatur perdagangan saham di Indonesia dan menyediakan platform transparan bagi investor dan perusahaan. Dalam sektor perbankan, Net Profit Margin (NPM) menjadi indikator utama profitabilitas dan dipengaruhi oleh Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Account Receivable Turnover (ART), dan Working Capital Ratio (WCR). Penelitian ini menggunakan 62 perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2019–2023, dengan 215 sampel yang diambil melalui metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TAT dan DER berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap NPM, ART berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan WCR tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Secara simultan, keempat variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap NPM.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Capital Structure, and Firm Size on Firm Value. The research employs a quantitative method. The population consists of manufacturing companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector from 2019 to 2023, totaling 95 companies. A sample of 26 companies was selected, yielding 130 data points. Secondary data were used for data collection, and multiple linear regression analysis was applied for data analysis. The results indicate that Institutional Ownership and Managerial Ownership have a positive and significant effect on Firm Value, while Capital Structure and Firm Size do not significantly affect Firm Value. Simultaneously, all variables—Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Capital Structure, and Firm Size—have a positive and significant effect on Firm Value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stabilitas sistem keuangan dalam mendukung sasaran akhir kebijakan moneter. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Pertumbuhan Ekonomi (PDB) dan Inflasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunaka model Vector Auto Regression (VAR) dengan uji Impulse Response Function (IRF), Forecast Error Varince Decomposition (FEVD), uji stasioneritas, uji kointegrasi, uji stabilitas lag struktur, dan uji panjang lag optimal.Hasil penelitian Vector Autoregression dengan menggunakan dasar lag 2 menunjukkan bahwa adanya kontribusi dari masing-masing variabel terhadap variabel itu sendiri dan variabel lainnya. Hasil analisa Vector Autoregressionjuga menunjukkan bahwa variabel masa lalu (t-1) berkontribusi terhadap variabel sekarang baik terhadap variabel itu sendiri dan variabel lain. Dari hasil analisisterdapat hubungan timbal balik antara variabel yang satu dengan variabel yang lainnya. Analisis Response Function menunjukkan adanya respon variabel lain terhadap perubahan satu variabel dalam jangka pendek, menengah dan panjang, dan diketahui bahwa stabilitas respon dari seluruh variabel terbentuk pada periode 5 tahun atau jangka menengah dan jangka panjang. Analisis Variance Decomposition menunjukan adanya variabel yang memiliki kontribusi terbesar terhadap variabel itu sendiri baik dalam jangka pendek, menengah maupun jangka panjang seperti INF dan PDB. Sedangkan variabel lain yang memiliki pengaruh terbesar terhadap variabel itu sendiri dan didukung variabel lain baik dalam jangka pendek, menengah maupun jangka panjang adalah CAR dan NPL dipengaruhi terbesar oleh INF dan PDB.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of economic globalization on international trade during the COVID-19 pandemic period (2020-2024). Using a qualitative method based on literature and previous empirical studies, the research examines changes in international trade patterns, the challenges faced by countries, and the adaptive strategies implemented to address global challenges. The data used in this study were sourced from scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2024. The findings indicate that economic globalization has persisted despite various challenges arising from the pandemic, with technology and trade policies serving as key determinants. This study highlights the importance of flexible trade policy adaptations to enable countries to remain competitive in the global market

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of world trade policies on Indonesia's export trends. In the era of globalization, the dynamics of international trade are greatly influenced by policies such as tariffs, quotas, and trade agreements implemented by various countries. This study uses secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and international trade reports in the last five years to understand how changes in global policies, such as trade wars, protectionism, and free trade agreements (FTAs), have impacted the volume and composition of Indonesia's exports. The results of the analysis show that world trade policies significantly affect Indonesia's exports, especially for leading commodities such as palm oil, coal, and textile products. In addition, the implementation of free trade policies provides opportunities to increase market access, although there are challenges in the competitiveness of local products. This study provides insight for policy makers to formulate adaptive and competitive trade strategies in facing global dynamics

Abstract

This research aims to review the strategic role of international trade in encouraging Indonesia's economic growth and creating long-term economic stability. Using qualitative methods based on literature studies, this research explains the relationship between international trade, especially export and import activities, to gross domestic product (GDP) and national economic welfare. Based on 2023 data, Indonesia's trade balance shows a surplus of USD 31.22 billion, driven by the non-oil and gas sector with a contribution of USD 47.02 billion, although the oil and gas sector experienced a loss of USD 15.80 billion. This research also discusses international trade theories, such as absolute and comparative advantage, which are the basis for maximizing the benefits of global trade. The analysis results show that international trade provides great opportunities, such as global market access, technological improvements and innovation, as well as expanding employment opportunities. But challenges remain, including dependence on oil and gas imports and fluctuating commodity prices. The results of the discussion confirmed that international trade is an important pillar in encouraging Indonesia's economic growth, as long as it is managed with policies oriented towards sustainability and economic independence

Abstract

Analysis of Indonesia's export performance from 2018 to 2023 shows significant fluctuations with the highest peak in 2022 reaching USD 292.6 billion, driven by strong global demand and high commodity prices. However, in 2023, exports will decline to USD 275.1 billion due to falling commodity prices and uncertainty in the global economy. The main problem facing Indonesia is its dependence on certain commodities, which makes it vulnerable to price fluctuations and market changes. The aim of this research is to explore Indonesia's potential to increase exports through the application of the theory of comparative advantage, Heckscher-Ohlin theory, and the theory of Economic Scale and Diversification to identify factors that influence export performance, including trade policy, infrastructure and technology. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach, which allows in-depth analysis of data and information from various sources. The research results show that although Indonesia has a comparative advantage in natural resources, challenges such as dependence on certain commodities, global price fluctuations, and inadequate infrastructure hamper export performance

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of the Heckscher-Ohlin Theory (HO) in international trade, which explains trade patterns based on the relative scarcity of production factors, such as labor and capital. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach, this study examines the relevance of HO theory in the context of Indonesian trade. The results show that Indonesia, with its comparative advantage in natural resource commodities, needs to increase competitiveness through innovation and product diversification. International trade provides economic benefits, but it also creates challenges such as global market dependence. Appropriate trade policies are needed to optimize benefits, mitigate risks, and support inclusive and sustainable economic development

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing on consumer purchase intention through consumer interaction in SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Tanjung Sari Village, Medan Selayang District, Medan City. The research approach used is quantitative with a causal associative method, where social media marketing is the independent variable, consumer purchase intention is the dependent variable, and consumer interaction is the mediating variable. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 57 respondents who were involved in interaction and purchase of products from SMEs in Tanjung Sari Village. The analysis results using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) indicate that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchase intention and increases consumer interaction with SME products. In addition, consumer interaction was also found to mediate the effect of social media marketing on consumer purchase intention. These findings suggest that SMEs need to improve the management of social media marketing and increase interaction with consumers to drive greater purchase intention and strengthen consumer relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial application usage, social media exposure, and shopping habits on students' financial management. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires from 150 student respondents. The results of the instrument test showed that all statement items were valid and reliable. The clinical assumption test showed that the data were normally distributed and there was no multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The results of the regression analysis showed that the use of financial applications had a positive and significant effect on students' financial management. Conversely, social media exposure and spending habits had a significant negative impact on students' financial management. Simultaneous test results showed that all three independent variables significantly influenced students' financial management. The coefficient of determination (CoE) of 0.746 indicates that 74.6% of the variation in students' financial management can be explained by the use of financial applications, social media exposure, and spending habits, while the remaining influence was attributed to other factors outside the study. The research findings indicate that utilizing financial technology helps students manage their finances more effectively, while high social media exposure and spending habits tend to decrease students' financial management skills.
