Abstract

The purpose of this study is to influence the use of a scientific approach to student learning outcomes in science learning in SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit, Pauh District, Padang. This research is an experimental research type Quasi Experimental Design with the design of The Static Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all students in grade IV semester II SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit District Pauh which consisted of 2 classes totaling 47 people. Based on the data analysis, the results of testing of the data from the sample class are normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was done by t-test showing tcount = 2.464 and ttable = 1.677 with db = 47 (n1 + n2–2 = 24 + 25-2 = 47) and a significant level of 5%. Based on the t-test> t table (2,464> 1,677) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, with the conclusion that "student learning outcomes that use a scientific approach are better than student learning outcomes without using a scientific approach to student learning outcomes in science learning in grade IV elementary school Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit District Pauh ".

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Effect of Mind Mapping Techniques on Poetry Writing Skills of students in elementary schools. This research is an experimental research type Quasi Experimental Design with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Based on the results of the pretest the average value of the experimental class 60 was obtained and the average value of the control class was 64.2. From the results of the comparison of the two sample classes obtained a difference in value of 3.7, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the value of the pretest of both classes, meaning that both classes have the same initial ability. Then learning is done using mind mapping techniques in the experimental class and learning without mind mapping techniques in the control class. After learning was given later in both classes posttest was conducted. For the experimental class the average value is 82 and for the control class the average value is 77.5. From the results of testing the hypothesis with a significant level of 0.05 obtained a significant value of 0,000 because of sig. <α, the hypothesis is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using mind mapping techniques on students' poetry writing skills in elementary schools. Abstract

This research aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of using educational comics based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) with the help of Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro as an interactive learning tool for elementary school students. This research adopts the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model development approach. Initial analysis was carried out to identify student needs and elementary school characteristics. Then, educational comics were developed by combining the CPS concept and Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro technology. Field trials were conducted to evaluate its effectiveness. The innovation of this research lies in the use of a combination of the CPS approach and interactive flipbook technology. This educational comic not only aims to convey information, but also stimulates students' creativity and problem-solving abilities through interactivity. The research results include the development of educational comics that are integrated with Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro. Evaluation is carried out through measuring increased student understanding, active involvement in the learning process, and positive responses from teachers and students. This research is expected to contribute to curriculum development literature by integrating creative and technological approaches in learning. In addition, it can provide new insights into the use of flipbook technology in the context of elementary education.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam konteks pembelajaran telah menjadi suatu aspek yang semakin penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis pengaruh media PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam matakuliah Bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melibatkan pengumpulan data dari mahasiswa yang mengikuti matakuliah Bahasa Indonesia dengan menerapkan media PowerPoint sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Data hasil belajar melibatkan uji pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan penerapan materi Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai sejauh mana penggunaan media PowerPoint mempengaruhi pemahaman dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman kita tentang efektivitas media dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) memiliki tantangan tersendiri dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, khususnya pada matakuliah Ilmu Alamiah Dasar (IAD). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh penggunaan jurnal belajar terhadap peningkatan metakognitif dan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGMI pada matakuliah IAD. Metakognisi, kemampuan untuk memahami dan mengendalikan proses berpikir, adalah aspek penting dalam pembelajaran di tingkat pendidikan tinggi. Pemanfaatan jurnal belajar sebagai alat refleksi diharapkan dapat merangsang pengembangan metakognisi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan implementasi jurnal belajar sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pembelajaran, dengan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan metakognitif. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes metakognitif dan tes hasil belajar, serta analisis jurnal belajar yang diisi oleh mahasiswa selama periode pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang dampak penggunaan jurnal belajar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matakuliah IAD di lingkungan PGMI. Temuan penelitian ini dapat memberikan dasar bagi penyusunan pedoman praktis untuk penggunaan jurnal belajar dalam meningkatkan metakognitif dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada tingkat pendidikan guru.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kualitas pembelajaran di madrasah ibtidaiyah sangat dipengaruhi oleh kreativitas guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Sijunjung dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva. Canva, sebagai platform desain grafis yang mudah diakses dan ramah pengguna, memberikan peluang bagi guru untuk menciptakan materi ajar yang inovatif, menarik, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah metode Partisipation Action Research (PAR) dengan jumlah guru sebanyak delapan belas orang di Yayasan Syafa’at El-Qur’an kabupaten Sijunjung dengan lima tahapan, yaitu: (1) Diagnosa, (2) Rencana tindakan, (3) pelaksanaan, (4) evaluasi, dan (5) penentuan temuan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pendampingan, guru mampu menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Pendampingan ini juga meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi guru sebesar 85% dalam mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap proses pembelajaran, baik dari segi peningkatan motivasi siswa maupun kualitas pengajaran guru. Dengan demikian, pendampingan pembuatan media berbasis Canva menjadi solusi praktis untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih modern dan adaptif di madrasah ibtidaiyah.Abstract: The quality of learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah is greatly influenced by the creativity of teachers in using engaging and interactive learning media. This research aims to assist madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers in Sijunjung Regency in creating interactive learning media based on Canva. Canva, as an easily accessible and user-friendly graphic design platform, provides opportunities for teachers to create innovative, engaging, and student-needs-aligned teaching materials. The service method used is the Participation Action Research (PAR) method with a total of eighteen teachers at the Syafa’at El-Qur’an Foundation in Sijunjung Regency, consisting of five stages: (1) Diagnosis, (2) Action plan, (3) Implementation, (4) Evaluation, and (5) Determination of findings. The results of the service show that after the mentoring, teachers were able to produce more varied and effective learning media in increasing students' interest and understanding of the subject matter. This mentoring also improved the teachers' technological skills by 85% in supporting 21st-century learning. This program has a positive impact on the learning process, both in terms of increasing student motivation and the quality of teacher instruction. Thus, the assistance in creating Canva-based media becomes a practical solution to support more modern and adaptive learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture method in learning Indonesian in class V elementary school. This method is expected to increase students' interest and motivation in learning languages, as well as facilitate understanding of concepts in a more creative and fun way. Through an interactive visual approach, students are invited to collaborate in depicting stories and ideas using pictures, so that the learning process becomes more interesting. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research with data collection through observation, tests and documentation which are analyzed descriptively. The results of the research were marked by the achievement of indicators of success in classroom action research and an increase in the average score of students in Cycle I of Meeting II of 70.53, increasing to 72.11 in Cycle II of Meeting I and increasing again to 81.32 in cycle II Meeting II. The percentage of completion of Indonesian language learning results in Cycle I, Meeting I was 63.16%, increased in Cycle II, Meeting I by 78.95%, and increased again by 94.74% in Cycle II, Meeting II. It is hoped that these findings can make a positive contribution to the development of language learning methods in elementary schools.
