Abstract

This research is to analyze the influence of competency aspects and leadership style on motivation and its impact on employee performance. This research uses descriptive and verification analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the characteristics of respondents and research variables without testing. Verifiability analysis is used to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This research uses all employees at the Jambi Province Transportation Service. Apart from that, the data used in this research is primary data obtained from the results of the questionnaire given and filled in by each employee. The data analysis technique used is path analysis, with the help of the SPSS version 22.0 software program. The results of the research show that competency and leadership style through motivation simultaneously and partially have a positive effect on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees and there is a direct and indirect influence of competence and leadership style through motivation on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees. So it can be concluded that the competency, leadership style, motivation and performance of employees at the Jambi Province Transportation Service are still relatively good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi organisasi, teamwork, dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pelayanan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) di wilayah Provinsi Jambi. RSUD memiliki peran strategis dalam pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat, namun dihadapkan pada tantangan koordinasi lintas unit, beban kerja tinggi, dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan dari pegawai pelayanan pada beberapa RSUD di wilayah Provinsi Jambi menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi organisasi, teamwork, dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selanjutnya, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai pelayanan serta memediasi hubungan antara komunikasi organisasi, teamwork, dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan faktor organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pelayanan RSUD.

Abstract

Ada hubungan yang erat antara kinerja perorangan (individual performance) dengan kinerja lembaga (institusional performance). Apabila kinerja perorangan/pegawai baik, maka kemungkinan besar kinerja instansi/lembaga juga baik. Menurut Mangkunegara (2004:67) kinerja pegawai adalah hasil kerja secara kualitas dan kuantitas yang dicapai oleh seorang pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sesuai dengan tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepadanya. Pegawai harus memiliki kualitas agar dapat memberikan kinerja yang baik untuk mendukung kinerja organisasi, karena pada dasarnya pegawai yang menunaikan tugas-tugas organisasi dalam kerangka kerja yang terarah. Apabila instansi memiliki kinerja yang bagus maka akan memberikan laba pada instansi.

Abstract

Analysis of the Growth of the Liquidity Ratio, Solvency, and Profitability, the objectives are, namely, the first is to determine the condition of the Growth of the Liquidity Ratio of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Indonesia for the period 2014-2018. The second is to determine the condition of the Growth of the Solvency Ratio of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Indonesia for the period 2014-2018. The third is to determine the Growth of the profitability ratio at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Indonesia for the period 2014-2018. And lastly, to determine the condition of the Growth of the Liquidity Ratio, Solvency, and Profitability with a financial performance at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Indonesia for the period 2014-2018. Based on the results of research conducted at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Indonesia it can be concluded that the average growth Liquidity Ratio 2014-2018 period be seen from the Current Ratio approach amounted to 1, 32 %. seen from the average Growth of the Solvency Ratio for the 2014-2018 period of (1) %. And the Growth of the Profitability Ratio for the 2014-2018 period is seen from the average Growth of Net Profit Margin of 140, 04 %. Return On Investment. For an average Growth of 208, 02 %. Return On Equity has an average Growth value of 192, 48 %.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has fundamentally reshaped the management and development of the tourism industry. Digital transformation strategies offer substantial opportunities to enhance destination competitiveness while simultaneously supporting economic, social, and environmental sustainability. This study aims to systematically examine the role of digital transformation and AI in strengthening sustainable tourism competitiveness through a literature review approach. A total of 42 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2019 and 2025 were analyzed, drawing from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. The analysis employed thematic synthesis to identify dominant patterns, conceptual relationships, and emerging themes across the literature. The findings indicate that AI-driven digital transformation enhances operational efficiency, enables personalized tourist experiences, supports data-informed resource management, and facilitates the development of smart tourism destinations. Nevertheless, persistent challenges related to human resource readiness, digital inequality, data governance, and ethical considerations remain evident. This review provides an integrated conceptual perspective on digital transformation and AI in sustainable tourism competitiveness and offers insights for policymakers, practitioners, and future research.

Abstract

The acceleration of digitalization in higher education has increased work demands on lecturers, particularly through technology-based administration, continuous information flow, and expectations of rapid responsiveness. This study examines the effects of work-life balance, job stress, and digital stress on burnout and their impact on job satisfaction among private university lecturers in the LLDIKTI X region. Grounded in the Job Demands-Resources model, this research adopts a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (PLS) based on survey data collected from lecturers. The results show that job stress and digital stress significantly increase burnout, while work-life balance is also associated with higher burnout in the context of blurred work–life boundaries. Job stress reduces job satisfaction, whereas digital stress exhibits a dual effect by increasing both burnout and job satisfaction, indicating its role as both a hindrance and challenge demand. Burnout is identified as a key mediating variable linking work pressures to job satisfaction. Substantively, higher burnout leads to lower job satisfaction, confirming its central role in the health impairment process. This study contributes to the literature by extending the Job Demands-Resources model through the inclusion of digital stress as a contemporary work demand and by highlighting the complexity of lecturer well-being in the digital academic environment. The findings provide important implications for university management in designing policies that balance digital demands, support lecturer well-being, and sustain academic performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem reward terhadap kinerja organisasi pada Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 responden yang merupakan anggota aktif BEM. Uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item pernyataan memiliki nilai korelasi r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel (0.279), sehingga dinyatakan valid. Uji reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0.834, yang berarti instrumen reliabel. Analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa sistem reward berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan persamaan regresi Y = 2.832 + 0.248X. Nilai signifikansi (p-value) sebesar 0.001 < 0.05 dan t hitung > t tabel, yang mengindikasikan bahwa variabel reward memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0.783 menunjukkan bahwa 78,3% variasi kinerja organisasi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel reward, sementara sisanya sebesar 21,7% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar model. Hasil ini mengimplikasikan bahwa sistem reward yang tepat dapat menjadi instrumen strategis dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi kemahasiswaan secara efektif.

Abstract

Era disrupsi menuntut perguruan tinggi, khususnya perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS), untuk mampu mengelola institusi secara adaptif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh budaya organisasi dan kompetensi manajerial terhadap kinerja institusional pada universitas swasta terakreditasi di Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 100 pimpinan struktural dan manajerial di PTS Provinsi Jambi. Instrumen penelitian dikembangkan berdasarkan model Competing Values Framework untuk budaya organisasi dan model Boyatzis untuk kompetensi manajerial. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS 25 dan pendekatan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja institusi (β = 0,310; p < 0,001), begitu pula kompetensi manajerial (β = 0,549; p < 0,001), dengan kontribusi kolektif sebesar 59,4% terhadap variasi kinerja institusi (R² = 0,594). Korelasi parsial menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial memiliki pengaruh yang lebih kuat dibandingkan budaya organisasi. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa budaya organisasi turut memperkuat kompetensi manajerial secara tidak langsung. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kinerja PTS memerlukan integrasi antara pembangunan budaya organisasi yang positif dan peningkatan kapasitas manajerial pimpinan. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini memperkaya kajian tentang manajemen pendidikan tinggi melalui pendekatan integratif perilaku organisasi dan manajemen strategis di Provinsi Jambi. Secara praktis, hasil Penelitian ini merekomendasikan program pelatihan manajerial, penguatan nilai budaya akademik, serta evaluasi kepemimpinan secara berkala di lingkungan PTS. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menguji peran mediasi variabel lain seperti kepemimpinan transformasional atau iklim organisasi dalam memperkuat hubungan antar variabel utama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana relevansi sistem upah dan insentif dalam perspektif Islam memengaruhi kinerja karyawan pada PT. Hutan Alam Lestari yang berlokasi di Jembatan Mas, Kecamatan Pemayung, Kabupaten Batang Hari. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Variabel bebas (independen) dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Upah (X1) dan Insentif (X2), sedangkan variabel terikat (dependen) adalah Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Uji hipotesis dilakukan melalui analisis statistik menggunakan Uji t, Uji F, dan Koefisien Determinasi (Adjusted R Square). Hasil pengujian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa Upah (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y), dengan nilai thitung sebesar 5,697, yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ttabel sebesar 2,018. Demikian pula, variabel Insentif (X2) juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y), dengan nilai thitung sebesar 3,220 yang melebihi ttabel Pengujian secara simultan menggunakan Uji F menunjukkan bahwa Upah dan Insentif secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung sebesar 229,124 yang jauh lebih besar daripada Ftabel sebesar 3,22. Selain itu, nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,912 mengindikasikan bahwa 91,2% variasi Kinerja Karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh Upah dan Insentif, sedangkan sisanya 8,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study examines the mechanisms through which human resource competence, organizational culture, and work stress influence employee performance, with employee engagement acting as a mediating variable. Drawing upon Human Capital Theory, Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) Theory, and Social Exchange Theory, this research proposes an integrated framework to explain employee performance within the context of digital transformation in the banking sector. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, with data collected from 250 employees of a regional development bank using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that human resource competence and organizational culture have positive and significant effects on both employee engagement and employee performance. In contrast, work stress negatively affects employee engagement but does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance. Furthermore, employee engagement emerges as the strongest predictor of performance and functions as a full mediator in the relationship between work stress and employee performance, while serving as a partial mediator in the relationships involving human resource competence and organizational culture. This study contributes to the literature by integrating structural and psychological perspectives into a unified framework and by providing empirical evidence from a relatively underexplored context. The findings offer important strategic implications for organizations seeking to enhance employee performance through engagement-driven human resource management practices.
