Abstract

Organic waste is waste generated from the use of organic materials in various daily lives. The absence of a disposal site and waste management system results in organic waste not being processed properly, resulting in environmental problems in the form of pollution and unpleasant odors in the area of Tenjo Ayu Village. Most household waste is organic waste, such as vegetable residue, fruit peels and yard sweepings. The service activity of the workshop on processing organic waste into eco-enzyme aims to educate the public regarding the processing of household waste into eco-enzyme as a multifunctional liquid so that waste can be reused into cleaning products and organic fertilizers that have economic value. This community service activity has succeeded in providing insight and skills to the community regarding the processing of organic waste into eco-enzymes.

Abstract

Learning organization is an important aspect in achieving organizational success which is carried out by a group of people with the same goals. A learning organization should have been implemented at every school level. The purpose of carrying out this service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge and readiness that must be designed to achieve effective schools in elementary schools in Pringsewu Regency. So that the specific target to be achieved is that participants can implement a learning organization to achieve effective schools through the principal's leadership model. The methods used are (1) discourse; present analysis of various related government regulations; (2) brainstorming and discussion; explore information on participants' understanding and what has been done; (3) role playing; improve the management ability of participants; and (4) analysis of the documents needed to design effective schools. The targets of this activity are principals and elementary school teachers in Pringsewu Regency. The results of community service activities obtained an average post-test of 88, higher than the pre-test which was 53.85. So the average percentage is 64.23%. Based on the results of the evaluation of activities, it is recommended that such training be followed up by expanding the target audience to design effective schools in elementary school.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things in a relatively short time. Educators and the community in responding to this condition require changes in clean and healthy living behavior in the new normal era. In the implementation of the New Normal phase, socialization is needed to the community, especially in the school environment with the aim of breaking the chain of spreading the Covid-19 virus, because the new normal does not mean that the environmental conditions are free from the Covid-19 virus, so you must remain vigilant. The service was carried out to the community and the school environment in Laksamana Village, Dumai City District, Riau Province. The method used is through socialization to the community and the school environment. This service activity is one of the work programs of the Balek Kampung Village Community Service Program, Laksamana 2022 as a form of knowledge transfer on ways to implement behavior change as an effort to prevent Covid-19. The results obtained in this service are that the community has the knowledge and ability to apply and motivate and adapt to family members, the community as pioneers in making changes to clean and healthy living behavior in the new normal era.

Abstract

Interest in reading can be increased through interesting learning for children by learning through play. This play activity can arouse children's interest and interest in reading. For this reason, adequate competence is needed for teachers to be able to arouse the interest and interest of the child. This service activity is intended to provide training in making big book media for PAUD teachers in Bandar Lampung City as well as to see how the efforts of teachers in making big book media for early childhood are varied. The method used in this activity is the informative – participatory method, which requires the participants to have theoretical and practical insights about making big book media for PAUD teachers through stages of activities that include information presentation, discussion and simulation. The technique used in delivering the training material is a workshop using multimedia aids in the form of a laptop, LCD, teaching aids, post test and pretest. After the implementation of the training on making big book media, there was a significant increase in teacher knowledge. It was proven that the teacher was able to answer all the post-test questions correctly. Therefore, it is hoped that teachers can use this knowledge to optimize and implement it in learning.

Abstract

Sports nutrition is a science that studies the relationship between the management of nutritional needs with performance that is beneficial for health, fitness, growth, and fostering sports achievement. The purpose of this PkM activity is to expand the knowledge and understanding of sports, increase competence and develop skills in compiling the need for good nutritional intake for sports through activities. The method used in this PkM activity uses a lecture approach, discussion, guided practice, and evaluation. Furthermore, this PkM activity provides valuable results and conclusions. It positively impacts various knowledge and understanding of the critical role of sports nutrition for the audience of athletes, sports coaches, and physical education teachers, as well as developing skills in formulating appropriate nutritional intake needs in sports activities.

Abstract

The development of the national economy is inseparable from the rural economy because most of the people live in rural areas. When rural economic conditions are good, the national life of the people will prosper. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the drivers of supporting capability of the rural economy. The constraints of MSMEs in the rural economy are due to their location far from urban areas, so they are considered less strategic in running a business. Sukogidri Village is a village located in Ledokombo sub-district, Jember Regency. The main livelihoods of the community are farmers and “bakiak” sandal craftsmen. Marketing of MSME products from Sukogidri Village clogs still uses the traditional method, namely through local residents. This condition hampers the progress of MSMEs on a wider market scale. The findings obtained are the low level of literacy and implementation of marketing innovations for MSME. Optimizing the implementation of marketing literacy and innovation by related parties is needed to maintain business sustainability. This is done by increasing the marketing reach of MSME products to a wider market, creative and innovative approach so that they can improve the living standards of rural communities.

Abstract

Characteristics of elementary school students (SD) are more dominant in psychomotor activity. Classroom learning should accommodate this so that student motivation is maintained during the learning process. Motivation is important considering that mastery of knowledge will be more optimal if students enjoy the learning process. Traditional learning is still found in Way Kanan Regency, so it is necessary to learn that accommodates these characteristics. One way that is considered appropriate is the application of the concept of gamification. The purpose of this service is to provide counseling and learning training with the concept of gamification to elementary school educators, develop the potential of students who are not yet optimal due to traditional learning, and foster the spirit of professionalism of elementary school educators. This service uses counseling and training methods and involves 25 educators in Way Kanan Regency. The instruments used are tests and portfolios as measuring tools to evaluate and sustain service. This service is expected to be a reference for innovative and productive learning to improve the character of students as a provision to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

The use of audio-visual media in learning will increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. Students from the PGSD Study Program, University of Lampung as prospective educators are required to be able to innovate creatively by utilizing technological advances for learning media. One of them is using camtasia studio media. So that students are able to use Camtasia perangkat lunak, training in the development of interactive media based on Camtasia audio-visual is needed. After attending this training, PGSD students understand and use the features of Camtasia Studio. So that students are able to modify the learning media into interactive audio-visual learning media.

Abstract

The specific objectives to be achieved in this activity are to train participants to understand the convention on the rights of the child through a sift-friendly family (KRA) in creating Child Friendly Villages and increase understanding of the four principles of the convention on children's rights; non-discrimination, the best interests of the child, growth and development, and child participation. The strategy used to achieve this goal is in accordance with the mission contained in the vision of Metro City regarding the prevention of violence against women and violence against children. This activity was carried out in order to provide reinforcement and provision for PKK members and children's forums in the Ganjar Agung family, West Metro District, Metro City. Ganjar Agung Urban Village, which has launched a Women-Friendly and Caring for Children Village (KRPPA) which was launched on November 28, 2021 by the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on these data, it is very necessary to hold training for the community and children's forums in the Ganjar Agung Village. The methods used in this activity are outreach, training, assignments, practice, group discussions, and mentoring. This activity will be held at the Ganjar Agung Village Office, West Metro District.

Abstract

Literacy and scientific writing skills are still limited among teachers and students at Ponpes Mambaush Sholihin. One of the causes is a lack of understanding of the rules of scientific writing. Difficulty in expressing thoughts in writing also poses a challenge. This article is the result of a service project aimed at enhancing literacy and scientific writing at Ponpes Mambaush Sholihin Gresik through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The findings of the project indicate that literacy and scientific writing skills are still limited among teachers and students. Lack of understanding of writing rules and difficulty in expressing thoughts are the main challenges. Through the PAR approach, the project provided training to teachers and students, involving stages of preparation, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The results showed an improvement in understanding the rules and techniques of scientific writing. The PAR approach serves as a solution to build awareness and enhance scientific writing skills at Ponpes Mambaush Sholihin Gresik. The project's findings also emphasize the importance of literacy and scientific writing in academic development and teaching, as well as expanding the benefits of research findings through publication
