Abstract

After wheat and maize, rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a very important food crop in the world. Rice is a rice-producing crop and is a very important food crop. Most of the world's population, especially in Asia, is still used as a staple food. During the cultivation process, many rice plants are susceptible to disease and pest attacks, including: leaf blight, tongguo grass, rice bursts, and dwarf grass. Generally, when rice plants are attacked by diseases and pests, farmers use pesticides directly or by means of countermeasures which are sometimes not suitable for diseases and pests that are infected in rice plants. As a result, prevention is not optimal and can even cause new diseases and pests. Assisting farmers in identifying early symptoms of plant diseases and rice pests, so that treatment of plant diseases and insect pests is more concentrated and maximally is the aim of this study. The processed data were 4 pests and diseases which were processed using case-based reasoning. This method will diagnose the types of rice and insect pests and its treatment steps with an accuracy of 95%. Therefore, this method is suitable for the diagnosis of rice disease.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif tentang sistem informasi sebagai inovasi pembelajaran terpadu untuk masyarakat luas. Metode yang dugunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi Model pengembangan ADDIE. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini belum banyak masyarakat yang belum tahu bahwa animasi atau aplikasi berbasiskan multimedia dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan penyebaran informasi secara menarik dan mudah diterima. Saat ini di Indonesia menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis TIK dengan mempelajari berbagai bidang ilmu secara bersamaan dalam berbagai rangkaian. Namun masalahnya tidak banyak sistem informasi yang dikemas berupa multimedia interaktif yang mampu menghubungkan pembelajaran terpadu khususnya di wilayah tertinggal. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memudahkan masyarakat dalam mencari informasi mengenai penyakit kucing secara interaktif. Multimedia interaktif ini merupakan sumber pembelajaran yang inovatif di kalangan masyarakat luas karena memang di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia masih sedikit. Sehingga produk ini nantinya diharapkan memberikan inspirasi dan kebaharuan terkait untuk sumber-sumber belajar yang ada baik itu untuk khalayak umum atau pada pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah.

Abstract

The types of rare diseases are currently unknown to many people, especially the general public, due to a lack of information and outreach. Although this disease is very rare, there is a need for early education on its symptoms as a form of anticipation and information and tolerance for sufferers of this disease with the aim of increasing knowledge and awareness about rare diseases. The main problem in this study is the lack of information media for health education about rare diseases, so we need an information media that can present rare disease knowledge that is not only easy to understand but also creative in order to be able to attract people's attention and make learning more fun by creating a interactive multimedia-based learning system. This application is to support understanding of rare diseases, especially for ordinary people who suffer from rare diseases or are around people with rare diseases. The method chosen is the Luther method, which is a multimedia development method based on six stages, namely Concept, Design, Material Collection, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution.

Abstract

Learning media has a positive impact because it can be fun, increase students' interest in learning, and be interactive. The learning method in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Ratnanigsih uses a Sentra approach and the environment by playing sambal learning to develop the intelligence of a potential child. The facts in PAUD Ratnaningsih found obstacles in the teaching and learning process. These obstacles occur due to the lack of visualization or media for teachers, and the absence of variations in learning can cause saturation in children. Users in this study are early childhood teachers in PAUD Ratnaningsih. Based on these problems, a learning press is needed for teacher and child relations educated at PAUD Ratnaningsih. The learning media design method in this study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) approach and learning media using Macromedia Flash 8. The results of this study are in the form of storyboard design, visualization of interface design, implementation of learning media, and testing with Blackbox Testing. Based on the conclusions of this study shows that all components and features of learning media function properly and can be used by teachers in the learning process "Universe" with the sub-theme "Rain".

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to solve problems in the selection of fertilizer suppliers at BBTPH Banyumas by proposing a decision support system (DSS). The quality of fertilizer supplier performance that is less than meeting standards can have a direct effect on crop yields, affect the level of efficiency, and decrease the quality of horticultural commodities. Therefore, this study aims to obtain decisions on the most feasible suppliers to be partners in supplying fertilizers. The method used in this study is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method which is a method for alternative ranking based on specified criteria. The criteria used are in the form of criteria data, namely quality, price, service, delivery, product, and warranty. Fertilizer supplier data is obtained from BBTPH Banyumas and processed using the ARAS method. The stages carried out are identifying criteria, weighting, determining alternatives, evaluating alternatives, calculating the score of each alternative and choosing the suggested solution. The results showed that the best fertilizer supplier was supplier A with an ARAS value of 0.421. Supplier A has advantages in price, quality, and reputation criteria. This research can provide recommendations to BBTPH Banyumas in choosing fertilizer suppliers that suit their needs and preferences. The ARAS method is very useful in solving complex problems and involves many factors. By using this approach, the decisions taken become more objective and supported by clear data. Therefore, the ARAS method can be adopted by other organizations to address similar problems.

Abstract

Crops, including corn, are important agricultural commodities and contribute greatly to people's food needs. Diseases in crops are often the main factor that reduces crop production and quality. Maize plants are particularly susceptible to various pests and diseases, such as Leaf Blight, Leaf Spot, Rust, Stem Blight, Anthracnose, Root Rot, Cob Rot, Smut, Mosaic Virus, and Nematodes. Unfortunately, farmers often use pesticides or inappropriate control methods, resulting in suboptimal care and the emergence of new pests or diseases. This study aims to assist farmers in detecting early symptoms of pests and diseases in corn plants, so that control can be more precise and effective. In this study, 10 disease attack data were processed using the Dempster Shafer method. This method processes data based on symptoms seen in corn plants, allowing detection of types of pests and diseases and recommendations for handling them with an accuracy rate of about 80%. Therefore, the Dempster Shafer method is relevant for use in the identification of diseases in corn plants.

Abstract

Amid the increasing challenges of globalization and digitalization, environmental awareness is often overlooked. Waste Library, as a community service center, took the initiative to raise this awareness through effective visualization using poster art, with a program led by lecturers from Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology. The aim of the program is to develop the graphic design skills of staff and volunteers and improve the effectiveness of their visual communication in conveying environmental messages. The method involved a series of interactive trainings using Canva as the main tool, with ability evaluations conducted through pre-survey and post-survey as well as statistical analysis of participant feedback. The training results showed a significant improvement in graphic design understanding, where 82% of participants showed increased competence; 76% have become more proficient with Canva, and 79% feel more confident in concept visualization. The conclusion of the program is that the graphic design workshop has successfully increased the technical ability and confidence of Waste Library staff and volunteers in using modern graphic design tools, as well as showing how interactive and visual approaches can be effective in educating and raising environmental awareness.ABSTRAKDi tengah tantangan globalisasi dan digitalisasi yang meningkat, kesadaran lingkungan sering kali terabaikan. Limbah Pustaka, sebagai pusat pengabdian masyarakat, berinisiatif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran ini melalui visualisasi yang efektif menggunakan seni poster, dengan program yang dipimpin oleh dosen dari Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto. Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan desain grafis para staf dan relawan serta meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi visual mereka dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan lingkungan. Metode yang diterapkan melibatkan serangkaian pelatihan interaktif menggunakan Canva sebagai alat utama, dengan evaluasi kemampuan dilakukan melalui pra-survey dan post-survey serta analisis statistik dari feedback peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman desain grafis, dimana 82% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi; 76% menjadi lebih mahir menggunakan Canva, dan 79% merasa lebih percaya diri dalam visualisasi konsep. Kesimpulan dari program ini adalah bahwa workshop desain grafis telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan teknis dan kepercayaan diri staf dan relawan Limbah Pustaka dalam menggunakan alat desain grafis modern, serta menunjukkan bagaimana pendekatan interaktif dan visual dapat efektif dalam mengedukasi dan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan.

Abstract

Hematochezia is a common clinical symptom in various gastrointestinal diseases, requiring accurate diagnosis for effective treatment. This study aims to develop an expert system for the rapid and precise identification of hematochezia-causing diseases. The expert system is designed to assist patients in efficiently recognizing diseases, minimizing treatment failure risks. It employs the Naïve Bayes method, a data calculation approach involving summing combinations and frequencies of each dataset. The expert system methodology begins with training using a dataset comprising hematochezia symptoms and corresponding disease diagnoses. The dataset is input into a database as training data. Subsequently, it undergoes classification and training stages. Symptom data can then be processed using the Naïve Bayes method. The system's end result displays probability values for each disease based on provided symptoms. This analysis relies on specific symptoms selected by the user, such as Rectal Pain, Hematochezia, Constipation, Fatigue, and Abdominal Cramps. It yields a Hemorrhoids diagnosis with a posterior probability of 0.514738. In testing with 35 sample cases, the expert system exhibited a remarkable accuracy rate of 94.29%. This expert system efficiently supports disease diagnosis based on hematochezia symptoms, aiding in swift and accurate identification.

Abstract

Dalam sektor Pendidikan, perangkat komputer memegang peranan sangat penting. Hal ini dapat dirasakan hampir semua aktivitas di dunia Pendidikan yang telah menggunakan komputer. Pemanfaatan komputer sebagai media pembelajarannyamasih dirasa sangat minim dan terbatas. Guru SD Negeri 3 Kebondalem Banjarnegara saat ini dituntut bersifat dinamis terhadap perkembangan teknologi yang sangat berkembang pesat sehingga, agar peserta didiknya mampu berkompeten menggunakan aplikasi yang sudah tersedia yaitu Microsoft Power Point. Pelatihan ini ditujukan kepada para guru agar dapat meningkatkan wawasan ilmu pengetahuan sebagai media pembelajaran menggunakan Microsoft Power Point. Dalam pelatihan mengenalkan dan mempraktekan fasilitas yang ada pada PPT seperti penggunan ribbon/menu bar, pemilihan tema, menyisipkan gambar dan video, menambahkan transisi dan efek animasi serta membuat hyperlink.

Abstract

Finding the shortest path sometimes makes most people confused in choosing a path, especially if there are many paths that must be taken to reach one destination. Tracing various routes from Cikampek to Purwokerto is a challenge, with the risk of spending excessive time and money. To solve this problem, this research uses the Ant Colony Algorithm to determine the most efficient path. One of the problems that often arises is that the Cikampek area has 3 routes that can be used to reach Purwokerto, namely the Cikampek - Indramayu (Patrol), Cikampek - Subang, and Cikampek - Bandung routes. The purpose of determining the shortest path is to provide the shortest path solution to users so that they can reach their destination faster and save time and costs. In this study, we use Ant Algorithm because the route from Cikampek to Purwokerto depends on many road factors and other conditions that could change from time to time. For example, traffic congestion and road repairs are major factors. The ant algorithm has strong customization capabilities to determine the shortest path based on the pheromone trails left by ants during exploration. This means that the ant algorithm can work optimally even if there are many factors in road conditions. In addition, the ant algorithm has the ability to handle problems with a large number of nodes, so it can explore various possibilities efficiently. The ant algorithm is an appropriate choice for finding the shortest path in a journey involving complex and diverse routes. There are six steps required to complete the ant algorithm. The first step is initialization, the second step is path selection, and the third step is setting the ant trail and communication between the ants hit by the trail in path selection. The fourth step is to look for visibility, the fifth step is to stop the criterion until it reaches a certain condition, and the last step is to determine the path by calculating probabilities. The results of this study indicate that the ant algorithm can be used to determine the shortest path which is then displayed. This research aims to assist the community in making decisions and determining the location of the city that must be passed. This study took 8 location points with starting point A and destination point H. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that the shortest route from Cikampek to Purwokerto is with 3 routes, namely first (A à D à E à F à H) with a distance of 355 KM, second (A à D à G à F à H) with a distance of 431 KM and the third (A à D à E àH) with a distance of 317 KM.
