Abstract

This study focused on the problem of lack of interactive multimedia-based educational information media that is interesting as a provider of information about parasitic infections in humans. This parasitic infection is very dangerous, especially for children who still lack knowledge about it. The aim of this research is to provide educational information media to the wider community, especially at the Seberang Padang Health Center, about parasitic infections in a way that is as interesting as possible and easy to use. Interactive multimedia is a solution to this problem. This research uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle Method as a guide in building interactive multimedia with the stages of Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. The results of the alpha test showed that all features of this interactive multimedia can function properly. A beta test was conducted on 30 respondents from the public who accompanied patients to the Seberang Padang Health Center. As a result, this interactive multimedia received a rating of 4.54 out of 5. Therefore, this interactive multimedia is very good and suitable for use as an educational medium for information about parasitic infections. With this interactive multimedia-based educational information media, it is hoped that the wider community can better understand and be aware of parasitic infections and preventive measures that can be taken to avoid these infections.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi seiring bertambahnya tahun semakin berkembang pesat dalam aspek kehidupan. Salah satunya dalam bidang pendidikan. Dengan hal ini banyak orang memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran. Salah satunya dengan pembelajaran multimedia interaktif. Dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif sebagai pengenalan ragam batik di Indonesia. Dengan sistem informasi berupa media ini dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam mempelajari berbagai ragam batik. Batik merupakan warisan budaya asli Indonesia dari Sabang sampai Merauke yang wajib dilestarikan. Seiring bertambahnya waktu batik semakin dikenal pesat, namun banyak dari kalangan muda mudi saat ini yang kurang meminati. Salah satunya dikarenakan batik yang dianggap kuno dan kurang kekinian. Hal lain juga dikarenakan kurangnya sarana atau fasilitas pembelajaran batik. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, tujuan kami yaitu melakukan penelitian membuat media pembelajaran untuk mengenal batik agar lebih dikenal orang banyak terutama kalangan muda mudi, tidak dianggap sepele dan melestarikan budaya Indonesia ini yaitu Batik. Media pembelajaran tersebut dikembangan melalui multimedia interaktif melalui sarana Macromedia Flash berupa animasi, text, video, dan audio. Berisi mengenai pengertian batik, sejarah singkat dari beberapa batik, filosofi, dan tutorial pembuatan batik tersebut. Menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) sebagai pengujian observasi. Metode ini digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan dari produk tersebut. Dengan mendapatkian hasil dari pengujian terhadap mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto kelas MM4 tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan melakukan tes coba skala kecil yaitu 20 mahasiswa dan skala besar yaitu 40 mahasiswa. Didapatkan bahwa tanggapan mahasiswa mengenai media pembelajaran Batik Indonesia berada pada kriteria sangat baik yaitu 84%. Sesuai dengan kriteria interprestasi nilai tanggapan mahasiswa menunjukkan kelayakan pengunaan media pembelajaran jika mendapatkan hasil sama dengan atau lebih dari 63%.

Abstract

Rubber latex is a raw material that is widely used as the main ingredient in the manufacture of various kinds of tools, so that the quality of the rubber latex must be paid close attention. In connection with this quality, there are several things that must be considered including the age of the tree, tapping time, dry rubber content, color and texture. The problem in determining the best quality of rubber latex is that it is not paid enough attention to by farmers and most farmers tap rubber tree sap only based on feeling or hunch. If this continues to happen, it will cause the production of tools that use rubber latex to become of less quality. In addition, the production department will also need a long time to select quality raw materials. Decision support systems can be used as an alternative to help with these problems. The Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method is used as a method for analyzing sample data from rubber latex based on the value of each existing criterion. The stages of the MAUT method have seven processes, namely the starting stage, determining alternatives and also criteria, displaying inputted data and alternatives, determining the weights for each criterion, creating a normalization matrix and decision matrix, then doing the sum of the results of normalization with criterion weights. After obtaining the decision value, the system will display the results of recommendations or decisions from each available alternative. From testing 30 rubber latex data, it was found that 17 data showed good quality with a value of 0.56 to 1.00 and 13 data showed bad quality with a value of 0.20 to 0.55. After a comparison between manual calculations and the system built did not show any difference in results, so that the decision support system built can be a tool to assist in making decisions regarding the quality of rubber latex

Abstract

Data mining is a form of method advancement in computerization that can dig past data into very valuable information. The problem in this study is that the sale of beauty and skincare carried out by Toko Hayati Store is still done manually so that it can cause it to not match the stock in the storage warehouse with changing market demand. Data mining with the K-Means method is one solution to this problem by grouping similar data, in this study grouping into two, namely best-selling and unsold products. The purpose of this study is that the store can provide stock of products in the warehouse according to market demand. Using a sample of 30 data resulted in 18 data as skin care products were not selling well and 12 data as skin care products were not selling well. With the results of a 100% similarity between manual calculations and using the rapid miner application, it can be concluded that the K-Means algorithm can be used as a solution to the problems that exist in the Toko Hayati Store.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize retail marketing strategies through customer segmentation using the K-Means clustering method and RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis. By utilizing transaction data from a large retail company, customers are categorized into six segments: VIP Customers, Loyal Customers, Potential Loyalists, New Customers, At-Risk Customers, and Dormant Customers. This segmentation allows for the implementation of more targeted marketing strategies for each customer group. For example, VIP Customers who represent 3.0% of total customers are very active with significant spending, so they deserve exclusive offers and premium services. Loyal Customers, which account for 7.0% of total customers, show high transaction frequency and loyalty, suitable for loyalty programs and recurring discounts. Potential Loyalists, which comprise 15.0%, show the potential for increased loyalty through retention campaigns. New customers representing 16.3% need a brand recognition and promotion strategy to increase their initial engagement. At-Risk Customers covering 30.7% indicated a decrease in transaction activity and required intervention to prevent churn, while Dormant Customers covering 28.1% required a strong reactivation strategy. The clustering evaluation showed an average Silhouette score of 0.3115, which indicates that the clusters that are formed are quite well defined, although there is still room for improvement. This research provides valuable insights to develop more effective and efficient marketing strategies, as well as increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Population data collection is an activity of recording population data carried out by data collection officers under the supervision of the village head. The census officer has task of collecting and processing population data. When the data collection officer wanted to process population data, the officer experienced difficulties in finding data. With the development and advancement of information technology, it has a positive impact, namely in social life. This study aims to solve problems with data collection officers, namely searching for and processing population data using an information system designed based on Android. Information system designed with the Extreme Programming method. In this research, there is an information system using the Dart Programming language with the Flutter Framework. The database used is MySQL implemented as RestAPI. Blackbox testing is used to test information systems that aim to determine the function of the information system. The objective of this research is to be able to shorten the time of data collection officers in collecting data and managing population data. The results obtained from this study are the digitalization of population data

Abstract

Desa wisata Adiluhur telah dikenal sebagai salah satu desa wisata bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Kebumen. Meskipun pengelola desa wisata adiluhur telah memanfaatkan media online di dalam mempromosikan wisata bahasa Inggris kepada khalayak ramai, akan tetapi masih belum optimal dan kurang inovatif. Maka, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di desa Adiluhur ini adalah untuk menguatkan digitalisasi wisata melalui konten kreator sehingga konten-konten pada media online lebih inovatif dan kreatif. Hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa adanya kegiatan penagbdian masyarakat ini membawa dampak yang positif kepada masyarakat dan pelaku wisata, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan pemahaman, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan kearah yang lebih baik terkait dengan penggunaan konten kreator untuk promosi wisata.

Abstract

Education about Indonesian culture and heritage faces challenges with ineffective learning models, which tend to focus on storytelling skills but need more student engagement. Local culture is also increasingly influenced by Western culture, especially among teenagers. This research aims to design interactive multimedia learning media that are engaging and effective in introducing Indonesian culture and heritage. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), involving stages of concept development, design creation, content gathering, application development, and testing and distribution. The research results indicate that the developed interactive learning media features text, audio, images, and videos accessible to all users, particularly children. Alpha and beta testing show that this learning media performs well and is highly suitable for use, scoring 4,73 out of 5 on the assessment scale. This learning media hopes to enhance users' understanding of Indonesian culture and heritage and support their preservation in the modern era.  Keywords—Culture, Heritage, Interactive Learning Media, MDLC

Abstract

 Introduction to endangered mammals in Indonesia still only uses textbooks which are less effective and interesting. Then the lack of knowledge about Indonesian mammals which are threatened with extinction has resulted in a lack of awareness regarding these mammals, making the public less concerned about Indonesian mammals which are threatened with extinction. This research aims to design a learning media that introduces endangered Indonesian mammals with the hope of creating awareness about mammals. Using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which has stages of concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing and application distribution. The results obtained show that learning media applications consisting of text, images, sound and video can be accessed by users, especially children. The alpha and beta tests carried out obtained a score of 4.575 on a scale of 5, which indicates that the application is suitable for use. With this learning media, it is hoped that it can increase awareness of Indonesian mammals which are threatened with extinction.   Keywords—Mammals, MDLC, Learning Media, Extinction

Abstract

Introduction: The gaming industry offers substantial opportunities for individuals with the right technical and entrepreneurial skills. However, graduates from vocational schools often lack these essential skills. Objective: The purpose of this service was to enhance technical skills in game development using Unity and cultivate entrepreneurial spirit among graduates of the Electronics Engineering Department at SMK N 1 Bukittinggi. Method: This public service was conducted on April 25, 2024, via Google Meet, in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto, Universitas Jambi, and Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Indobaru Nasional. The program included sessions on the basics of game development, practical game creation using Unity, and entrepreneurship training. Forty students participated. Result: The program significantly improved participants' skills. Understanding of game development theory increased from 30% to 85%, proficiency in using Unity rose from 20% to 80%, and scripting skills in C# improved from 25% to 75%. Knowledge of entrepreneurial concepts increased from 40% to 85%, and business planning skills rose from 25% to 80%. Conclusion: The program successfully enhanced both technical and entrepreneurial skills of Electronics Engineering graduates from SMK N 1 Bukittinggi, preparing them for the creative industry and enabling them to create their own business opportunities. This integrated approach can be applied to other vocational schools to support the growth of the local creative economy.
