Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design an information system for operational goods inventory at the Lovina Inn hotel so that it makes it easier to manage data by not doing manual recording. With the application of a structured analysis model method for the creation of an Operational Inventory Information System, it can make it easier to build a system using the PHP language (Hypertext Preprocessor) and a database using MySQL. Abstract

Bullying is a great concern that needs to be dealt with as early as possible, be it in the form of physical, verbal, social or cyber bullying. Using NLP algorithms, this paper intends to classify bullying report using Natural Language Processing in conjunction with Bag of Words. The study employs quantitative methodology. A total of 4671 reports of bullying are in essence categorized into physical, verbal, social, cyber and non-cyber bullying. We split the dataset into 80% training set (3737 reports) and 20% testing set (934 reports). The above model has achieved an accuracy of 94,76%, with good values of recall, precision and F1-score: 94,64%, 95,02% and 94,97% respectively. The dataset is then analyzed using Random Forest algorithm and Report of the Bullying Survey The model is to be effective in automatic Detection of Textual Bullying Reports Automated. While there has been no such effort in our institutions so far, automatic reporting of bullying will prove to be effective. This is because the system will allow a school or institution to have a precise constant monitoring of bullying reports. It will also allow an instantaneous action to be taken to protect the victim without letting the situation escalate.

Abstract

One of the primary factors impacting the economy is the ability to forecast the prices of commodities such as beef. This paper aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various activation functions and optimization strategies when integrated into the LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) architecture model in predicting the price of lean beef in Aceh. The data sample utilized was obtained from the Indonesian National Food Agency panel, which shows daily prices for beef within the time frame of July 14th, 2022, to July 31st, 2024. As for the conducted research, the process of preparation data preprocessing, partitioning data into training, validation and test sets and the actual execution of the LSTM model which was trained using four different types of activation functions: tanh, ReLU, sigmoid and PReLU together with three different optimizers: Adam, Nadam and RMSprop for 50, 70, 100 and 200 training iterations. The evaluation metrics employed were Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), and the coefficient of determination (R-squared). The best performance was recorded at 200 epochs with the combination of PReLU activation function and Nadam optimizer, which had the best performance with RMSE = 2.56, MAPE = 0.65% and R² = 0.104. This combination was more effective than others since it depicted better overall performance in identifying complex non-linear relationships that existed in the price data. Further on, Nadam seems to have benefits in terms of allowing the model to converge faster and making the training more stable. This work stresses the selection of activation functions and optimization methods when building LSTM models aimed at forecasting prices of commodities with large volatility. It will be very helpful in developing better predictive models and decision-making processes in the agro-business. Another way to enhance predictive performance could be changing the model architecture or using different techniques, such as attention mechanisms.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutritional problems that can hinder the growth and development process in toddlers. Untreated stunting can lead to fatal outcomes. Previous research on the factors that exist in the incidence of stunting mostly used multivariate analysis. Previous research on stunting factors has primarily used multivariate or correlation analyses. However, this study uniquely focuses on establishing causal relationships between these factors, a crucial step in improving early diagnosis for stunting prevention and treatment. The data used in this research was 83 data on stunting incidents and consisted of eight parameters. The purpose of this study is to model the causal relationship between factors that represent the incidence of stunting. This study uses two simple causal approaches, namely the Peter-Clark (PC) algorithm to obtain the initial concept of a graph model of the relationship between variables and the Greedy Equivalence Search (GES) algorithm to refine the model by obtaining the direction of the causal relationship. There are six bi-directed relationships that have been found, namely from food variables to support; maternal knowledge with sanitation; Height/Age and Weight/Age with Child Nutrition; height/age with weight/age and stunting. In addition, both algorithms in this study have successfully obtained a causal model, by comparing performance using directional and causal densities that the GES algorithm was able to identify a relationship of 0.66 compared to the PC algorithm.

Abstract

Bullying in high school is frequent and negatively affects students' psychological well-being. The lack of effective reporting mechanisms makes students hesitant to report bullying cases for fear of their identity being exposed, which can lead to stigma or retaliation. The lack of data on bullying incidents also hampers prevention and intervention measures. The study designed and implemented a mobile application that uses natural language processing (NLP) for speech-to-text conversion, enabling anonymous and convenient reporting of bullying cases. The app ensures the anonymity of whistleblowers and facilitates the collection of accurate data on bullying incidents, helping schools respond with appropriate preventive measures. Software engineering methodologies are used with a focus on requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and application testing. NLP technology is used to interpret verbal instructions into text, with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method for text classification, ensuring high accuracy in detecting bullying incidents. The trial application in several high schools showed the relevance and effectiveness of the application. Ethical and security considerations are top priorities, with an emphasis on whistleblower identity protection and data security. The test results showed that the application achieved 92% accuracy, 90% precision, and 88% recall, demonstrating its effectiveness in collecting bullying reports anonymously and accurately.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam sektor pertanian di Desa Genuksuran mencakup kendala serius dalam pengelolaan data distribusi pupuk, yang meliputi pencatatan data secara manual, kesalahan input, dan kurangnya transparansi informasi kepada pihak aparat desa. Hal ini menghambat efisiensi dan akurasi dalam proses distribusi pupuk, yang pada gilirannya berdampak negatif pada ketahanan pangan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini merancang dan mengembangkan sistem pengelolaan data distribusi pupuk berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Agile. Metode Agile dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk adaptasi terhadap perubahan kebutuhan selama prosespengembangan. Tahapan metode Agile terdiri dari requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, dan review. Sistem yang dibangun mencakup fitur untuk pencatatan data pemasukan pupuk, pengelolaan distribusi, pemrosesan pembayaran, dan pembuatan laporan yang terintegrasi. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berfungsi dengan baik, dengan tingkat keberhasilanmencapai 100%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akurasi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan data distribusi pupuk, serta memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi masyarakatpetani di Desa Genuksuran.Kata kunci— Sektor Pertanian, Pengelolaan Data, Distribusi Pupuk, Website, Agile

Abstract

Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada Augmentasi citra pohon kelapa sawit untuk deteksi objek menggunakan pendekatan Deep Learning. Pohon kelapa sawit memiliki peran penting dalam industri perkebunan dan pertanian, sehingga pengembangan metode deteksi pohon kelapa sawit yang efisien menjadi krusial dalam pemantauan perkebunan dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Metode penelitian melibatkan augmentasi citra, seperti flip, crop, hue, saturation, brightness, exposure dan pra-pemrosesan auto orient dan resize untuk meningkatkan kualitas data pelatihan. Model Deep Learning yang digunakan adalah Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang terintegrasi dengan teknik object detection, memungkinkan identifikasi pohon kelapa sawit dari latar belakang dengan akurasi tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 101 citra kepala sawit dan setelah dilakukan augmentasi berjumlah 253 citra pohon kelapa sawit yang bervariasi dalam kondisi pencahayaan, sudut pandang, dan penutupan daun. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mampu mengidentifikasi pohon kelapa sawit dengan akurasi yang baik, bahkan dalam kondisi yang kompleks. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki potensi aplikasi dalam pemantauan perkebunan kelapa sawit, perencanaan lahan, dan pemantauan lingkungan. Dengan peningkatan akurasi deteksi dan ekstraksi, manajemen perkebunan dan pemantauan lingkungan dapat menjadi lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus among children is rising due to poor dietary habits and lack of physical activity from an early age. Health education remains suboptimal, especially in areas with limited access to health information. This community service activity aimed to raise awareness and understanding among elementary school children and their parents regarding early diabetes prevention through multimedia-based educational technology. The method used included interactive counseling, sugar content demonstrations in food, introduction of the Diabetes Detective educational app, and blood glucose screening using a digital glucometer. The activity took place in Muntang Village, Purbalingga, involving 30 children and 25 parents. Results showed an increase in children’s understanding from 49.5% (pre-test) to 85.5% (post-test), while 92% of parents stated the media was easy for children to understand. Children’s average blood glucose level was normal (92.5 mg/dL), while four parents were in the prediabetic range. The activity demonstrates that an interactive, contextual educational approach can enhance health literacy and promote healthy habits in families. This model can be replicated as a preventive strategy using digital technology in other regions.ABSTRAKKasus diabetes mellitus tipe 2 pada anak-anak meningkat seiring pola makan buruk dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik sejak dini. Edukasi mengenai gaya hidup sehat masih belum optimal, terutama di daerah dengan akses informasi kesehatan terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman anak-anak sekolah dasar serta orang tua mengenai pencegahan dini diabetes melalui media edukasi berbasis teknologi multimedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan interaktif, demonstrasi kandungan gula pada makanan, pengenalan aplikasi edukatif Diabetes Detective, dan pemeriksaan gula darah menggunakan glukometer digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Muntang, Purbalingga, dengan melibatkan 30 anak dan 25 orang tua. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman anak dari rata-rata 49,5% (pre-test) menjadi 85,5% (post-test), dan 92% orang tua menyatakan media mudah dipahami. Rata-rata kadar gula darah anak normal (92,5 mg/dL), sedangkan empat orang tua berada pada kategori prediabetes. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan edukatif yang interaktif dan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan literasi kesehatan anak dan keluarga serta dapat direplikasi sebagai strategi preventif berbasis teknologi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

Household organic waste, which accounts for more than 60% of total national waste in Indonesia, remains a major challenge in community-based waste management. This community service program aims to raise public awareness and engagement through the production of eco enzyme made from fruit peels as an environmentally friendly product, which will later become part of a waste exchange (barter) system using a digital application. The activity involved 25 participants consisting of volunteers, university students, and members of environmental communities. The methods included socialization, hands-on training on eco enzyme production using a 3:1:1 ratio of water, brown sugar, and fruit peels, followed by a 90-day fermentation process. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-training questionnaires and direct observation of participants’ practices. Results showed that 88% of participants successfully produced eco enzyme with an optimal pH level (3.5–4.5), and 76% expressed interest in joining the proposed digital barter system. The activity also improved participants’ understanding of circular economy concepts and independent waste management. In conclusion, the eco enzyme training serves as a strategic initial step in developing a waste exchange ecosystem based on appropriate technology, while also acting as an educational tool to foster environmental awareness through participatory and sustainable approaches.ABSTRAKPermasalahan limbah organik rumah tangga, yang mencapai lebih dari 60% dari total sampah nasional, masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan masyarakat melalui pembuatan eco enzyme dari kulit buah sebagai produk ramah lingkungan, yang kelak akan dijadikan bagian dari sistem pertukaran (barter) dengan limbah rumah tangga menggunakan aplikasi digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Mei 2025 di Desa Muntang, Kabupaten Purbalingga, dengan melibatkan 25 peserta yang terdiri dari relawan, mahasiswa, dan anggota komunitas peduli lingkungan. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah Komunitas Limbah Pustaka yang turut berperan dalam penyediaan lokasi dan fasilitasi peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis pembuatan eco enzyme dengan komposisi 3 bagian air, 1 bagian gula merah, dan 1 bagian kulit buah, seperti kulit nanas, jeruk, semangka, dan pepaya, serta pendampingan fermentasi selama 90 hari. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner pre dan post pelatihan, serta observasi praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 88% peserta berhasil memproduksi eco enzyme dengan kualitas pH optimal (3,5–4,5), dan 76% di antaranya menyatakan tertarik untuk mengikuti skema barter digital berbasis aplikasi. Kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep ekonomi sirkular dan pengelolaan limbah mandiri. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan pembuatan eco enzyme merupakan langkah awal yang strategis dalam membangun ekosistem pertukaran limbah berbasis teknologi tepat guna, sekaligus menjadi media edukatif dalam meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan secara partisipatif dan berkelanjutan.
