Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan judul "Sosialisasi Pola Hidup Sehat untuk Menjaga Kebugaran Masyarakat di Desa Manggung Jaya" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pola hidup sehat dalam menjaga kebugaran tubuh. Desa Manggung Jaya yang memiliki akses terbatas terhadap informasi kesehatan membutuhkan upaya untuk memfasilitasi edukasi terkait pola makan sehat, rutin berolahraga, serta menjaga kesehatan mental. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui berbagai metode, seperti seminar, pelatihan, dan pembagian materi edukasi. Target utama dari kegiatan ini adalah seluruh lapisan masyarakat desa, dengan harapan agar mereka dapat menerapkan gaya hidup sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Evaluasi dalam kegiatan Sosialisasi Pola Hidup Sehat di Desa Manggung Jaya memberikan dampak yang signifikan, dari 50 peserta yang hadir berdasarkan hasil pretest-Postest menunjukan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan nutrisi dan penerapan dalam meningkatkan kebugaran secara mandiri dengan persentase sebesar 80%, dengan nilai rata-rata data pre-test yaitu sebesar 58,68 meningkat setelah diberikan perlakuan dilihat dari nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 74,68. Keterlibatan praktisi olahraga menjadi suatu hal yang penting dalam mentransfer keterampilan praktis yang cocok bagi masyarakat, sehingga tidak hanya memahami teori tetapi mampu mengimplementasikan pola hidup sehat secara mandiri dan terukur. Sinergi ini diharapkan mampu memastikan program ini tidak hanya terlaksana secara prosedural, serta memberikan dampak ekonomi dan perubahan perilaku yang nyata di Desa Manggung Jaya. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; hidup sehat; kebugaran masyarakat. Abstract The Community Service (PKM) activity entitled “Socialization of Healthy Lifestyle to Maintain Community Fitness in Manggung Jaya Village” aims to increase public understanding and awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle in maintaining physical fitness. Manggung Jaya Village, which has limited access to health information, requires efforts to facilitate education related to healthy eating patterns, regular exercise, and maintaining mental health. This activity is carried out through various methods, such as seminars, training, and distribution of educational materials. The main target of this activity is all levels of village society, with the hope that they can apply a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives. Evaluation of the Healthy Lifestyle Socialization activity in Manggung Jaya Village has a significant impact, from 50 participants who attended based on the pretest-posttest results showed an increase in understanding of nutritional management and application in improving fitness independently with a percentage of 80%, with an average value of pre-test data of 58.68 increasing after being given treatment seen from the average post-test value of 74.68. The involvement of sports practitioners is crucial in transferring practical skills relevant to the community, ensuring they not only understand the theory but also implement healthy lifestyles independently and measurably. This synergy is expected to ensure the program is not merely procedural but also delivers tangible economic impact and behavioral change in Manggung Jaya Village. Keywords: socialization; healthy living; community fitness.

Abstract

The main problem of this study is the low passing skills of students at SMAN 1 Telukjambe Barat due to conventional learning that is uniform in nature. The study aims to examine the effect of differentiated learning on improving passing skills. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 70 twelfth-grade students divided into an experimental group (differentiated learning) and a control group (conventional learning). Data were collected through a passing test adapted from Nurcahyo (2014), which had been tested for validity (Aiken's V=0.87) and reliability (ICC=0.89). Statistical analysis showed a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental and control groups (t=3.082; p=0.003). The effectiveness of learning was measured using N-Gain, which showed a moderate category (34.93%) in the experimental group and a low category (9.62%) in the control group. The discussion revealed that this success was supported by the fulfillment of basic psychological needs (competence, autonomy, connectedness) and the application of pedagogical scaffolding in accordance with Vygotsky and Deci & Ryan's theories. The conclusion of the study proves that differentiated learning effectively improves soccer passing skills significantly. The practical implication is that physical education teachers are recommended to apply a differentiated approach through initial diagnosis, tiered activities, and specific feedback to accommodate student diversity.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul “Edukasi Nilai-Nilai Luhur Olimpiade (Olympism) pada Guru PJOK se-Kabupaten Karawang” bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai Olimpiade dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, olahraga, dan kesehatan (PJOK). Nilai-nilai tersebut mencakup prinsip Excellence (keunggulan), Friendship (persahabatan), dan Respect (rasa hormat), yang berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui Metode penyuluhan, pelatihan, workshop, dan simulasi lapangan yang melibatkan guru-guru PJOK dari berbagai sekolah di Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap filosofi Olympism dan kemampuan mereka mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tersebut ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam menanamkan sportivitas, kerja sama, dan disiplin kepada siswa. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran PJOK dan pembentukan karakter siswa yang berintegritas, sportif, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Study Purpose. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of their understanding of basketball learning at Al Azhar 02 Tekraf Vocational School, with attention to how teaching methods, learning environment, and instructional strategies shape students’ comprehension and engagement. Materials and Methods. This study employed a descriptive quantitative design. The population consisted of students of Al Azhar 02 Tekraf Vocational School who participated in basketball learning during the second semester of the 2024–2025 academic year. Using purposive sampling, 60 students with direct experience in basketball classes were selected as respondents. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale to assess students’ perceived understanding, motivation, and learning experiences in basketball learning. The instrument was reviewed through expert validation and refined through pilot testing prior to its administration. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequencies, percentages, mean scores, and standard deviations, to identify patterns and trends in students’ perceptions. Results. Students generally reported positive perceptions of learning basketball. 1) They appreciated clear teacher explanations, demonstrations, and opportunities for active practice. 2) Emotional support, peer collaboration, and 3) Adequate facilities were also perceived as enhancing motivation and participation. However, although students felt confident in performing physical skills, some reported difficulty understanding complex game strategies, indicating gaps in cognitive and tactical understanding. Conclusions. Effective teaching methods, interactive learning environments, and supportive teacher peer relationships contribute to stronger student understanding and enjoyment of basketball learning. Strengthening cognitive instruction especially on tactics and game strategy may further improve learning outcomes in vocational school physical education contexts.

Abstract

Study Purpose This study aimed to examine the relationship between students’ motivation and learning outcomes in volleyball learning at SMP TI Al Azhar 24. Materials and Methods A quantitative correlational design was used with a sample of 60 students from grades VII to IX. Motivation data were collected using a questionnaire grounded in Self-Determination Theory, while volleyball learning outcomes were measured using a test assessing both technical performance and theoretical understanding. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product–Moment correlation and simple linear regression. Results The mean motivation score was 96.83 and the mean volleyball learning outcome score was 82.57, indicating generally moderate to high levels of motivation and achievement. The analysis showed a strong, positive relationship between motivation and learning outcomes (r = 0.674; p < 0.05). Regression results indicated that motivation explained 45.4% of the variance in volleyball learning outcomes, with the remaining variance attributed to other factors. Conclusion Motivation is strongly associated with volleyball learning outcomes in physical education. Teachers are encouraged to build supportive and enjoyable learning environments that strengthen students’ intrinsic motivation and engagement during volleyball instruction.
