Abstract

In Indonesia, government attention to the use of post-saline contraceptives is increasing. According to the recommendations of The National Meeting on Family Planning Programs in 2012, the postpartum and post-miscarriage Family Planning (KB PP & PK) program is designated as a priority program that should be available in every province. This program aims not only to increase the number of contraceptive use, but also to improve maternal and child health (JNPK, 2012). Post-copy family planning is one of the government programs with a target of 80%, although the acceptor of post-copy family planning only reaches 30%, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia considers this achievement as a significant progress in increasing community participation in family planning programs. Meanwhile, the number of family planning acceptors in North Sumatra in 2012 reached 4,041 acceptors. This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge about post-copy family planning and participation in becoming a family planning acceptor at Balimbingan Hospital, Tanah Jawa District, Simalungun Regency, Pematang Siantar City in 2024. This study applies an analytical survey method with a cross-sectional approach with sampling carried out using the Incidental Sampling technique of 44 people. The data analysis technique applied was Spearman's Rho Correlation with a significance level of 5% or a confidence level of 95%. The results of the study based on the output test statistics obtained the result of p=0.007 (<0.05). The conclusion of the study is that Ha is accepted, which means that maternal knowledge has a significant relationship with participation in becoming a post-copy family planning acceptor. It is hoped that the Family Planning program management officer at Balimbingan Hospital will continue to provide accurate information, education and counseling.

Abstract

One of the causes of the high Maternal Mortality Rate (AKI) is long childbirth. If the delivery process lasts a long time, it can cause the mother to be exhausted because she runs out of energy. This results in inadequate uterine contractions (his) so that it can cause failure in the progress of labor. In addition to the inadequacy of uterine contractions (his), psychological conditions are also one of the factors that affect the length of labor progress. The psychological condition in question is the mother's perception of anxiety and pain during the childbirth process. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is self-healing , which is one of the methods used to manage emotions in order to avoid things that cause stress. This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of Self-Healing to Reduce the Intensity of Pain in Maternal Mothers at PMB Winda Nainggolan, Hutabayu District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province in 2024. This research method uses a quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental design research method in one group (one group prestest posttest). The research will be conducted in May 2024-July 2024. The sample size was 16 people with nonprobability sampling techniques. The data analysis used was using the Pairet t Test with an error value of α 0.05. The results of the study based on the output test statistics obtained a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the significance level of 5% (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). The conclusion of the study is that Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of self-healing on the reduction of Period I labor pain in Primigravida mothers at PMB Winda Nainggolan, Hutabayu District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province in 2024. It is hoped that health workers can improve the quality of service, self-healing can be an intervention as one of the non-pharmacological therapies for maternal mothers.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg on two measurements with an interval of five minutes in a rest/quiet state. The management of hypertension can basically be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One non-pharmacological treatment is to use celery. Celery contains the flavonoid apigenin, vitamin C, apiin, calcium, and magnesium which can reduce hypertension. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of celery boiled water in lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertension. This study used a pre post experimental design. The number of respondents at the Simalingkar Health Center workplace as many as 20 respondents who were given celery boiled water with a significance level of <0.05. The results showed that the P value of 0.00 (<0.05) means that celery boiled water is effective in reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The average difference between systolic and diastolic after drinking celery boiled water found an average difference between systolic and diastolic 15 mmHg and 10 mmHg, so it can be concluded that celery boiled water is effective for reducing hypertension.
