Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the partial and simultaneous impact of compensation and job stress on the performance of ASN employees at Karawang Health Service. Research Methodology: This study uses a descriptive verification approach with a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire as a survey instrument. The sample consisted of 81 employees, selected according to the Slovin formula. The analysis was performed using a multiple regression model. Results: The results of the study show that compensation has a partial positive effect on employee performance, job stress also has a partial positive effect on employee performance, and that compensation and job stress have a simultaneous positive effect on employee performance in Karawang Health Service. Limitations: The study was conducted only at the Karawang Health Service, and the variables analyzed were limited to compensation and job stress. Future studies could expand the scope and include additional variables. Contribution: This study provides insights for the Karawang Health Service on the importance of managing compensation and job stress to improve employee performance. The findings can be used as a reference for other government agencies to enhance the performance of their employees.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline and work environment on employee performance. Research method—The research employs a quantitative approach using verification analysis, conducted at Perumdam Tirta Tarum Karawang. The population consisted of 343 employees, with a sample of 78 determined using the 10% Solvin formula. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS 27 application. Result— The findings indicate a significant influence of work discipline on employee performance, evidenced by ttabel (2.295 > 2.011 or thitung > ttabel). Additionally, the work environment also significantly affects employee performance, with ttabel (8.224 > 2.011). Conclusion— Both work discipline and work environment significantly influence employee performance at Perumdam Tirta Tarum Karawang.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to understand how leadership style can improve employee work performance at the Karawang Regency National Narcotics Agency office. Research method— The study employs a qualitative descriptive research technique. Data was collected using a triangulation strategy, incorporating multiple data sources, including observations, documentation, and structured interviews with 5 informants from various positions, including TU staff, rehabilitation staff, P2M staff, head of general subdivision, and eradication staff. Result— The findings indicate that the leaders at BNNK utilize a democratic leadership style, characterized by inclusive decision-making and open communication. This approach fosters a supportive work environment, encouraging employee participation and feedback. As a result, employee performance is reported to be fairly stable, with increased job satisfaction, motivation, and collaboration among staff. The democratic leadership style not only enhances team cohesion but also contributes to effective problem-solving and innovation within the agency. Conclusion— The application of a democratic leadership style by BNNK leaders positively influences employee performance at the National Narcotics Agency in Karawang, demonstrating that effective leadership is crucial for achieving organizational goals and maintaining high levels of employee engagement.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi perbaikan sistem tilang pelanggaran karyawan yang dapat diterapkan di Divisi Pengamanan, K3, dan Lingkungan pada Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang RI (Perum Peruri). Permasalahan yang ada yaitu perlunya dilakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem penilangan pelanggaran karyawan dikarenakan saat ini belum terkomputerisasi. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan Analisis SWOT untuk melakukan pengolahan data wawancara dengan Matriks IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) untuk menguraikan faktor kekuatan dan kelemahan dan EFE (External Factor Evaluation) untuk menguraikan faktor peluang dan ancaman. Dari hasil Strengths dan Opportunities (S-O) sebesar 5,45, Strengths dan Threats (S-T) sebesar 4,57, Weaknessses dan Opportunities (W-O) sebesar 3,44, Weaknesses dan Threats (W-T) sebesar 2,56. Kombinasi alternatif strategi yang tertinggi berada pada kuadran I yaitu menunjukkan peluang bisnis yang kuat serta bersifat progresif yang membuktikan bahwasannya perusahaan mampu meningkatkan angka pertumbuhan secara maksimal dan S-O yang diharapkan dengan adanya kekuatan mampu mengimplementasikan peluang sehingga mampu meningkatkan sistem tilang pelanggaran karyawan ke depannya. Abstract

Tujuan observasi ini ialah untuk memahami dan menganalisis dampak kinerja lingkungan, biaya lingkungan, serta ukuran perusahaan secara simultan dalam kinerja keuangan. Populasi pada observasi ini adalah Perusahaan Sektor Konsumen Primer yang terlegalitas di BEI Tahun 2018-2022. berdasarkan metode purposive sampling,ditemukan 19 Perusahaan yang mencukupi ciri-ciri berdasarkan jumlah 122 data set. Teknik analisis yang diterapkan ialah uji asumsi klasik,analisis regresi linier berganda serta uji hipotesis. Indeks observasi ini menggambarkan perihal Kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang didampaki terhadap variabel kinerja lingkungan, kinerja keuangan perusahaan tidak dipengaruhi oleh biaya lingkungan, dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan dipengaruhi oleh ukuran perusahaan, sesuai dengan hasil pengujian data yang sudah dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of management accounting in cost control in companies. Management accounting plays an important role in providing relevant and timely information for managers to make effective decisions regarding cost control. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative methods, where data is collected through literature studies and in-depth interviews with financial and accounting managers in several companies. The results of the study show that management accounting has a crucial role in controlling company costs through accurate planning, budgeting, and cost tracking. By analyzing various cost components, management accounting helps managers identify and manage expenses, set appropriate prices, and evaluate operational performance. In addition, management accounting supports strategic decision-making and resource optimization, enabling companies to achieve financial goals and increase profitability. Through strategies such as cost-benefit analysis, activity-based budgeting, performance measurement, and investment in technology, managerial accountants can provide insights to improve efficiency and create long-term value, strengthening a company's competitive position and supporting sustainable profit growth.

Abstract

Saung Angklung Udjo, as one of the cultural tourism destinations in Bandung, faces major challenges in maintaining its existence, especially related to effective human resource management. This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource Management in improving the performance of Saung Angklung Udjo after the downturn experienced due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the Covid-19 Pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism sector in Indonesia, including Saung Angklung Udjo in Bandung, which experienced a drastic decline in the number of visitors due to social restrictions and the closure of tourist attractions. To recover from this downturn, Saung Angklung Udjo needs to improve its management, especially in the management of human resources. Steps taken include evaluating organizational structures, implementing training programs to improve employee skills and motivation, and creating a healthy work culture. In addition, it is important to build a positive image of the organization through open communication and fair implementation of policies. The human resource development strategy must consider Sundanese cultural values, including arts and culture training, mentorship between senior and young artists, and increasing multicultural awareness. With these steps, Saung Angklung Udjo can strengthen its position as a sustainable arts and culture center.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of compensation and work environment in increasing employee loyalty at PT. Citra Nusantara Catering. Qualitative descriptive methods with triangulation interviews and observation techniques were used to explore compensation conditions, work environment, and employee loyalty levels. The results of the research showed that the compensation provided by the company was below standard, with employee salary data indicating the need for adjustments to achieve higher compensation levels. adequate. The work environment also requires improvement, as indicated by workplace layout data. It is recommended to improve lighting, air circulation and layout arrangements to improve employee welfare and productivity. Employee attendance data is an additional factor that needs to be taken into account when analyzing loyalty levels. Research shows a correlation between compensation conditions, work environment, and employee absenteeism levels. With the results of this research, recommendations for reviewing compensation policies include salary adjustments, increasing incentives, and providing more comprehensive benefits. On the work environment side, improvements to lighting, air circulation and workplace layout are proposed to improve employee welfare and productivity. By implementing these steps, it is hoped that the company can increase employee loyalty, having a positive impact on overall company performance.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — The purpose of this study is how the influence of Corporate Culture and Training on employee performance.. Research method— The method in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using multiple linear regression analysis. The research data comes from primary data and data collection process with a sample size of 50 people. Result— The results of this study indicate that there is a partial influence between corporate culture on performance significantly of 0.000 <0.005 and a t-count value of 7.584> 2.011 and a partial influence between training on performance significantly of 0.000 <0.005 and a t-count value of 3.793> 2.011. Together, corporate culture and training are proven to have a simultaneous significant influence on employee performance which shows a very significant influence of 0.000 <0.005 with an F-Count value of 186.501> 3.19. Based on the results of the determination coefficient, it was found that the variables of corporate culture and training had an influence of 88.8% while the remaining 1.2% was explained by other unknown factors or variables that were not included in this regression analysis such as work discipline, work environment. Conclusion— Partially, Corporate Culture Variable (X1) has a positive and very significant influence on Employee Performance variable (Y) in Karawang MSMEs. Partially, Training Variable (X2) has a positive influence on employee performance variable (Y), which means that training variable has an influence on employee performance in Karawang MSMEs. Simultaneously, Corporate Culture Variable (X1) and Training variable (X2) have a positive and significant influence on employee performance variable (Y) in Karawang MSMEs. effectiveness. Fourth, joint testing shows that Engagement, Work Supervision and Compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that H0 is rejected and H4 is accepted so that it can be stated that the independent or independent variable (X) has a significant effect simultaneously or together on the dependent or dependent variable (Y).
