Abstract

Abstract

This report examines efforts for early detection and prevention of tuberculosis (TB) transmission in Kasang Kumpeh Village, Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency, through a door-to-door approach and community education. The program aims to raise public awareness of the importance of TB screening, early detection, and adherence to treatment. Screening activities were conducted in three high-risk RTs, with results showing that most of the community had low knowledge about TB. Interventions were carried out by providing household-based education and engaging the community in prevention efforts through the SIMPATIK (Community Synergy for TB and Health Awareness) program. Additionally, tuberculosis preventive therapy (TPT) was given to high-risk families. Evaluation results showed significant improvement in the community's knowledge about TB after the intervention, and successful identification of potential cases of TB transmission.

Abstract

The increasing burden of infectious diseases such as Tuberculosis (TB) and non-communicable diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus (DM) places significant pressure on the National Health Insurance (JKN) financing system. This study aims to analyze the healthcare financing patterns of TB and DM using BPJS Kesehatan secondary data from 2022 through a clustering analysis approach. This quantitative study employs BPJS Kesehatan Sample Data, covering 34 provinces in Indonesia. Data processing was performed using Stata 14.2 for case proportion calculations and RStudio for cluster analysis with the K-Means algorithm. The optimal number of clusters was determined using the Gap Statistic and Within-Cluster Sum of Squares (WCSS) methods. The results indicate three regional clusters: a moderate-burden cluster (Sumatra), a high-burden cluster (Java), and a low-burden cluster (other provinces).

Abstract

Abstract

Repeat visit intention is an essential indicator of service continuity in primary healthcare facilities, reflecting patient perceptions of service quality, satisfaction, accessibility, and overall experience. The outpatient visit rate at Talang Banjar Health Center has shown fluctuations, indicating the need to identify factors influencing repeat visit interest. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design with 106 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-square test to examine relationships between service quality, patient satisfaction, accessibility, waiting time, and repeat visit intention. The findings showed that 63.2% of respondents had an interest in returning, while 36,8% did not. Significant relationships were found between repeat visit intention and service quality (p = 0.006; PR = 3.034), patient satisfaction (p = 0.001; PR = 4.348),  accessibility (p = 0.005; PR = 3.100). and waiting time (p = 0.001 ; PR = 3.912). These results indicate that improving service quality, enhancing patient satisfaction,  accessibility, and waiting time are crucial to strengthening patient interest in returning to the health center. Strengthening these aspects may support better service continuity in primary healthcare settings.

Abstract

Toddlerhood is a golden era in children's growth and development because it is a period of real growth that influences and determines children's subsequent development. Through the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) movement. Every family would be able to enhance their talents, particularly in caring for their toddlers and pre-school-aged children, to promote optimum child growth and development. Health cadres play a significant role in efforts to strengthen the community's capacity to reach optimal health status independently. This study seeks to identify the elements that influence the involvement of cadres in providing family care services for toddlers in the city of Jambi. This study used a quantitative, cross-sectional methodology. This study's population consisted of 450 cadres from the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) program. This study's sample consisted of 81 the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) cadres selected using Probability Sampling with Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. The chi-square test demonstrates that there is a correlation between the variables attitude (p-value = 0.001) and motivation (p-value = 0.002). Moreover, there is no correlation between knowledge and BKB cadres' roles (p-value = 0.180). Attitude and motivation variables are substantially associated with the role of the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) Cadres in Jambi City. The Office of Population Control and Family Planning will hold online discussions. Hence, cadres are always aware of the most recent developments in activities of the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB). The Office of Population Control and Family Planning will monitor activities even when not on the ground. The Office of Population Control and Family Planning will reproduce books on the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) so cadres can gain more knowledge and not rely solely on training experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of management practices on improving service quality through the integrated core practice of EFQM and Six Sigma Public Health Centers in Jambi Province. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional design approach through two stages of research. The research data was obtained using a questionnaire from a sample of 560 civil servant employees in 24 health centers that were randomly selected and analyzed by second order using Smart-PLS 3.0. The results of the study found that the implementation of management practices and core practices had a fairly good average by employees and each had a direct effect on the service quality of the Public Health Center. The core practice is able to partially mediate between management practices and the quality of Public Health Center services. However, in practice, not all Public Health Center have implemented quality management practices.
